My child bought a new home this year and has a dog that ultimately kept getting out of the yard…read morewith the existing fence. Had Ergeon replace the fence (unfortunately thought wasn't the issue with the dog, that's a different story). Fence was finished in July. My child works 80 hours a week and hadn't been there when it was completed. I visited from out of town and noticed some quality issues. Uneven boards at the gate, poor quality hardware and a couple of boards that seemed poor quality. However, the biggest concern was that they didn't install any corner posts. Who does that? Anyone ever heard of a fence with no stable anchors in the corners? Come to find out they cut the previous corner posts off at ground level and were too lazy or inconvenienced to remove them. Built the new fence around them. I paid for the majority of the fence so I contacted their warranty company. I sent pictures. They scheduled a person to come out. There wasn't good communication about what action they would be taking. My husband and I took the day off work and planned to be there. They cancelled a 1/2 hour after they were scheduled to arrive. They rescheduled for two days later (a Sunday) and no showed and did not call. I also called that morning to confirm someone would show, got no response from my vm. I spoke with our warranty rep the following day and was told, "sorry, but I don't work on the weekends." That just irritated me. Poor customer service in my opinion. So the following week we communicated back and forth to reschedule. I was given today (9/26) as THE ONLY available date, even though I told Peta, our warranty rep, that I was unavailable and gave here 3 alternative dates. Yesterday at 5 pm she texted me and said that the installer was not available there was a death in their family. While I am sorry for their loss and empathetic, does Ergeon not have any one else? Peta asked me to give her until Monday to reschedule. I will do that but I am getting the feeling that I am getting delayed intentionally. I requested the name and number of the installer that gets scheduled so that I may confirm the day of the appointment (again I will be driving from out of town, an hour one way) and a supervisors name and number if they fail to show up. Peta told me she could not give that information. Shady? I think so. This will be a third appointment. If they cancel or no show, that will be the third strike. I hope they take care of this and make it right. I will update this post when they do. *update* Ergeon continued to delay, but did contact us to say a technician would be in the area that same day and could make the repairs. No notice and no one present to talk to the tech. I asked several time what direction the tech was given...no answer. He shows up and installs one corner post....that's it???? When I spoke with him after he called my daughter to say he was there (she didn't know anything about it). He had no idea what he was supposed to do other than install one post. I was pissed. (Remember no corner posts and there are 3 corners) Of course, I complained, I was told the next available date would be October 14th. Because they only have one person in the area that is working on the warranty issues. How is this my problem?

I recently had Summit Fence repair and replace a large section of our aluminum fencing after a huge…read moreoak tree came down and destroyed about 30% of it. We needed to swap out damaged panels and fully replace others for 70 feet of fencing, including one 4' wide single gate. The final result is a clean, professional install using the standard 4'H Aluminum Smooth Top - 3-Rail panel style, and it looks excellent. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Amanda was fantastic; she stayed in constant touch, gave clear information at every step, and kept everything wonderfully organized. She made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and effortless. Carlos was equally impressive. He came out to personally determine the action plan and immediately gave me confidence that he would personally do a great job. He's extremely knowledgeable, listened carefully to what we needed, and followed through on everything he said he would do and then some! His crew worked efficiently and produced high-quality work. There are many fence companies out there, but Summit Fence was the only one that genuinely made me feel like they understood exactly what needed to happen and had the capability and care to do it properly. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if we ever need something else. Thank you, Amanda, Carlos, and the whole crew for a job well done.

Jacob was on time to the appointment, friendly, and took his time assessing our needs. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, but unfortunately, fate had other plans. Jacob was unable to get back to me in a timely manner due to personal reasons. In the meantime, I decided to sign with another company to complete the work I need on my property. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. I appreciate that they care, so it is only fair for my review to be updated to reflect that accordingly.

I had Bravo come out and install a fence. They were unbelievably responsive during the…read morepre-installation quote and process. The team arrived in time and had the entire fence installed timely. Now, POST INSTALL is another issue. I found large pieces of wood and concrete around the perimeter of the fence. My landscaper alerted me to boards that were so bowed as to possibly allow small pets to enter the yard. I cleaned up the debris but called about the bowed boards and was told someone would come out to fix them - NO ONE ever came out. Just recently I discovered the fence can be locked from the inside but not from the outside, which is another problem. I considered having them come out to clean and stain the entire fence - I have since changed my mind and will be going with another company.

I asked for them to fix it and they came by and put dirt over the cement. Less than two months later the fence post caps have started to come off -- four so far have fallen off (pics attached). I emailed Johnathan about the cap issues and asked about the ten-year warranty that came with the fence. Instead of receiving an apology or coming out to properly affix the caps, he told me the caps don't typically come off and I would have to pay $100 for them to come out and fix it. Save your money and go elsewhere. While they claim they provide a ten year warranty for materials and workmanship, in practice it means nothing.

The entire experience with Same Day Fence was seamless from start to finish. When looking for potential vendors, I received multiple quotes for my job. This was also at a time when lumber prices were dropping rapidly so the quotes varied depending on when the vendor was pricing lumber. Same Day initially came in higher but when I brought them a competing quote and asked them to revise based on current lumber costs they not only met the competitive quote but offered to beat it. When it came time to install, their team showed up on time and even provided me recommendations for how build out the fence in a way that would look more appealing. I was replacing a 130' section of fence that was installed a year ago by my builder to make it taller and immediately noticed a big difference in the quality of work. Their installer paid attention to every detail, even custom cutting boards at angles to make them even with the ground given that my yard runs at a slope. I would highly recommend using them!
