I requested an estimate for an upcoming fence project that I need to take care of, and Summit Fence was the first to respond and arrive. Jacob was on time to the appointment, friendly, and took his time assessing our needs. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, but unfortunately, fate had other plans. Jacob was unable to get back to me in a timely manner due to personal reasons. In the meantime, I decided to sign with another company to complete the work I need on my property. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. I reached out to Summit based on the Yelp reviews and the photos here. I felt that they had a lot of nice work that showed different types of fences. CJ came out and was very helpful explaining the process. He said that he used to install and I liked that the sales person had experience doing the job so they weren't selling something that they really didn't understand. All of the staff were respectful and very clear. They continued communication through the process. I was also not harassed through follow ups. They allowed me time to review, get quotes, look at my budget and make - decision. It was a big reason I followed up when it made sense to move forward. I have had a lot of issues with contractors and Summit Fence has been such a breeze to work with. They do what they say they are going to do and they complete the job while respecting your space. I wish their energy was found elsewhere. I really love the look of the fence. I also had them stain it. Andrew and team did a great job. They were able to fit me in the schedule last minute and arrived early. At the end, they made sure to ask if I had any questions. If you want to pay check to avoid the fee, you can drop the deposit off and once the job is completed, the contractors will accept the check. We had Summit Fence install our fence 5 years ago. Last year, I emailed them photos to let them know the fence was leaning. This year, I had them finally come and do repairs since after removing dirt/mulch from along the fence, it continued to lean. They had to re-concrete multiple posts, so the fence is now straight, but it did take a few reminder texts from me to get the work completed. Carlos was excellent, came to my house with hurricane Helene winds still blowing, and quickly made all repairs and put our backyard back together perfectly, all in an afternoon. installed a fence on a new build with all property corners pinned. they installed over the property line and are blaming homeowner and try to charge $1000 to fix their issue. they didn't plumb down to the corner or lay a 2x4 on the slope and pop the line straight. poor workmanship and very poor business practices blaming the homeowners when all 4 corners were installed and an hlp was given with dimensions. sunrise cove don't use this company. - Wyatt read more

We chose Summit fence because it was clearly evident that Lee had far more experience than any of the other companies after he came out and spoke with us. For our backyard project, I obtained quotes from 5 different fence companies. I wish I had called Summit fence first. The entire staff is incredible, professional and responsive to work with. The crew arrived on time and completed the install of nearly 300 feet of pre-stained black ranch rail in just one day. This included removal of 175 feet of old chain link fence damaged by the storm. The crew did a great job of cleanup post install, the follow up from the office manager was great. When I had a post install question, the owner took time to respond to my request. Lesson learned I will share is, if you want a headache free quality fence project, don't waste your time getting quotes from other fence companies and call Jacob Tuck at Summit fence first. RUDE, UNRESPONSIVE, & UNPROFESSIONAL I bought a fence and electronic gate from them 2.5 years ago. I had to chase them then to get the job complete. Several weeks ago someone pushed through my electronic gate causing it to be misaligned. I've called 5 times. It's clear they have no interest in serving their clients. "Someone will call you to make an appointment in 2-3 weeks" (never happened), "you know there's a service charge for us to come out" (yes I do and I will pay it), "we need you to send pictures of the gate" (I did - no response), "the Owner takes care of these types of problems - he'll call you" (promised two different times, never happened). I finally had someone else do it. Still haven't heard from them. Will never use them or recommend them again. read more

We got a fence installed about 2-3 years ago. Price was a higher than other quotes we got but we felt more comfortable with this company. It was installed very quickly. A few pieces of wood were not securely installed but they came back within a few days to repair. No problem there. Now a few years later the fence looks okay but the area where the gate is seems to have shifted or something because the cement is blocking the gate and can no longer close. BUYER BE WARE!!!!!!!! two months ago, I got a privacy fence installed by Summit Fence. I was told prior to purchasing the fence that if I had any problems with the fence, they guarantee their workmanship. I then attempted to have new siding placed on my house, and I was advised and noticed that the wooden post on both side of my house had been place against my house without leaving a slight space like most fence builder typical would do. I attempted to contact Summit Fence about my issue. I explained to then I only need both fence posted to be adjusted slightly on both sides of my house. I was told that I would receive a call back in a few hours. Two days later, I called back and advised them my concern. I was then told that Lee would give me a call. the following day Lee gave me a call and I explained to him my issued. It seem like it would have taken no more than2 hour if that long to correct the issue. Lee then told me that it would be an addition fee for the slight adjustment. I then asked Lee how much would it cost. Lee then advised me that if would cost about $900.00 to move both fence post an inch away from being attached to my house. Lee then stated to me that he would take a crew of 6 men and about 6 hours to complete the job. I then told Lee that it told the initial crew 6 hours with three men to remove my old fence and replace my new fence. Lee then stated that he would have to work new price figures on the job and he would call me back the next day. A week have past and no telephone call from Lee. Again, I attempted to contact Summit Fence office, and I have received no call back. If you purchase a fence from Summit Fence and have any service issues. Take this as warning. It become very difficult if not impossible to get a response back from Summit Fence on any issues you may encounter with the fence. Think twice about the sale pitch on the service guarantee of their product. read more

I hired Summit for a $4,000.00 fence job in my back yard. Simple job. Summit placed a corner fence post in wrong position so fence had poor attachment at this spot. After begging Summit to repair (they insist it was ok), they did a fast repair job in which they didn't put enough cement in the corner post hole. The worker was very rude and kept insisting they dont have to repair. VERY unprofessional The double gate near the corner post drooped where the closing mechanism didn't work due to weak corner post. Lee, the owner, said this is normal and I should hit the locking mechanism with a rock to correct. I'm not kidding!!!!!!!! I further begged Lee to repair correctly. He was very difficult to deal with. After about 4 phone calls, we negotiated a repair for $100.00. I agreed (wanted the fence fixed!) Lee didn't show up at repair date. Does not answer my calls. Lee, is the owner. By the way, they are more expensive then others, I hired them and waited for their availability., as I thought I was paying for a superior product. LOL!
