I'm not a fan of Viewhouse food, this place is a fun time for drinks or to wtach sports. But we decided to give the brunch buffet a shot. For $40 there is a lot of choices to pick from. For the price it's not bad. I do like that there is no time frame- so your not feeling rush or for us your able to watch the full game and just enjoy eating and being with your company. I recommend making a reservation because this place was packed but maybe also because it was a football playoff day as well. Our service was good, they were consistent with filling our waters and making sure to clear out dirty plates. There is seating and a bar upstairs as well, but if your sat up stairs you would have to keep taking the stairs to get to the buffet. The buffet is in the banquet room behind the main bar, everything looked very organized and somewhat sanitary. I say somewhat because the fish and sushi and pizza sat there for who knows how long. I never saw it be refilled or replaced to maintain the freshness and also for not getting sick. Everything in my opinion was bland, it lacked flavors. The crab was overcooked- so cracking it needed more work than usual. The build your omelet was burnt. The waffle station is prob my favorite. They were small, warm and nice and fluffy with toppings to make to your liking. I do come to Viewhouse a lot but for social gatherings and a good time. read more

I've been coming here for years, mostly for happy hour and music during the summer on Fridays. I like it here. Good vibes, generally great staff, with the exception of one crabby, borderline rude server. She's been moved upstairs, and I prefer the main floor, so all is well. Our server last night, Amanda, was terrific. Friendly, smiling, cheerful, and great service! I love the happy hour hummus platter, with the exception of the raw broccoli. Nobody wants green things stuck in their teeth, so it always remains uneaten. The giant flatbreads are also good, and ideal for sharing. They've expanded the happy hour offerings to include tacos and a banh mi sandwich. Both of these are okay, but not great. The quesadilla often lacks filling at the ends, but the filling is good. We ordered off the regular menu last night. Beth had the nuts and berries salad, which she loved, and I fell back on my old standby, the Cuban. read more

View house has a great concept, great views of Denver and horrible service. Maybe it just happened to be the Monday night in mid-June we went but I won't be back. We sat upstairs on a cool Monday night with great views of the area. It wasn't super crowded at 6pm but it was steady and growing. Our server was nice, but seemed frustrated. She took our drink orders and entree order at the same time as we had plenty of time to read the downloaded menu. Upon our food arriving, which I will admit was not a long wait, we placed a second round of drinks and my colleague requested extra salad dressing for his entree salad.....it took 20 minutes for the dressing and we never got our drinks. We had to ask three times for the dressing. I ordered the Nashville hot Chicken and Waffles For something different. The waffles were what you would expect and tasty. The chicken was two very small cutlets breaded perfectly and not over cooked. That said I would not call these Nashville HOT! They had a sirracha looking sauce drizzled on top with zero bite or flavor When we said we wanted the bill to drink some where else our server understood and apologized. Had Sunday brunch this last weekend and the food selections were great. I posted LOTS of pics and yet still forget to get a photo of the omelet and waffle stations ‍ So for $40/person there is a great option for an AYCE brunch buffet. I may or may not have eaten had 6 lobster tails myself so it was totally worth the price if that was in fact me lol. We were here today for Mother's Day brunch. I expected it to busy. But, there was lines out the door. We had a 10:30 reservation and seated pretty quickly upstairs. The problem was nobody came to take drink order. We were all looking forward to brunch/Sunday cocktails. Also, having young impatient kids it is hard to sit and wait for anything especially food. After about 15 minutes and several servers walking past our table I finally got up and asked someone. They quickly sent over a waitress who was very apologetic and nice. She said it was not her section but could take our drink orders and check in with the proper server. Great, thanks! However, that person still didn't bring our drinks for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile we went to get food which was a 15 min wait and complete madness. So many people running around with crabby kids and staff not knowing what is going on. The system needs retooling( I suggest mandatory reservations and no menu just buffet, one food line upstairs, one downstairs ). Viewhouse is one of those places that everyone we knew kept telling us was overrated. But with proper expectations I think they do a pretty good job. They are certainly a bar first restaurant second and the limited menu reflects that fact. However by either standard they have a ton of space and offer two levels of open concept seating in a high end sports bar theme with some great views from the second level. They have live music on certain days which is great as well. There are rumors that a Viewhouse is opening up north in Thornton near me which makes me so happy. Went here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was such a vibe! He loved sports, and was able to watch the Nuggets and Avs while enjoying some great food! My go to is the avocado shrimp bowl because it's probably the cleanest item on the menu. If I'm having a cheat meal I'll go for the American Tacos Or the steak with frites. And of course I'll do Jack and Honey or their Jacked Up cocktail. But you can even just have a Truly just because it's on tap! Fun. At the end you gotta do a skillet cookie. Cauliflower bites were amazing, anything else super salty, we returned them...Even the drinks. I stopped in a few weeks ago for some appetizers and drinks. The peach beer they had was pretty good, but the Que Pasa Lager had some wild lemon or other citrus flavor that dominated the drink. Last time we were here, the food was good but the service was miserable. I was recently back to this location with large group of10 for a birthday brunch around noon. The service we got this time was dramatically improved! The food was was good but our server, Alyson (never Allie!) made for a great afternoon, she did an amazing job. When she took our initial drink orders, she asked each of us for our first name, and anytime she stopped by to check on us (which was frequent) she addressed each of us by name to see if we needed anything. If one or two weren't at their seat because they were at the buffet, she would address another of us to ask "Do you know if (insert name of missing persons) need a refill? She was so friendly, well organized, rolled with the punches with our rowdy group, and just overall was amazing. I rarely give out one star reviews but I feel like I'm justified in this case with Viewhouse. I have never gone here for food and it's somewhere that's really not known for food, so I was a bit hesitant to go try it, but I went for a friends birthday. So we get there during brunch, and the menu is small but everything on the menu sounded good. I got a mimosa and their huevos rancheros. The mimosa didn't taste that great and didn't taste like blood orange at all and the huevos rancheros weren't piping hot but I thought the flavors were okay. We also ordered Belgian waffles which were probably the worst waffles I've had. They used corn meal and bits of corn in their waffles which was weird to me, and it didn't describe the waffles in the menu so we were surprised when we bit into it and it had a texture of corn bread and had corns in it. Also, the service was okay, not great, despite them having a lot of staff working, the service was quite slow. Now my biggest reason for one stars is because I do believe this restaurant gave me food poisoning and I am laying in bed as we speak vomiting. I believe the huevos rancheros probably made me sick, maybe not properly cooking the food to a safe temperature or using something old and expired. I'm not sure, but I'm laying here miserable because of their slip ups. I know food poisoning can be a bit hard to track but I'm confident I got it from here. Im never going to view house again, overall experience was just bad. read more

Had our work Christmas party here with about 25 people attending. You never know how the service is going to be with a group that big but today it was outstanding! We had two servers who worked their tails off to make sure we had food and drink readily available. Very friendly And took great care of the entire group. I can't speak for any of the other peoples food but I had the crispy mahi mahi tacos.-And I am a fish taco snob-but these were absolutely delicious! The fish was outstanding and the pickled cabbage really added a fantastic flavor to the dish. I've been to this location several times and this was one of my best experiences here. Had a reservation for 12:30 but table wasn't ready, at 1pm I was notified table was ready before being told it was a mistake and it wasn't ready. I am a long-time frequent customer of the Viewhouse (both Centennial and Littleton). Over the past couple of years, the quality and service have all gone way downhill. I continue to frequent both locations but after today, I can no longer. I would much prefer to provide a review directly to a business, but I searched the website and could find no email contact information, so I feel I have to leave my review here instead. I arrived at 3:05pm and was seated upstairs near the bar. I waited and waited and received no acknowledgement that I was there, no server, no water, no menu, nothing. At 3:29 after asking twice (two different people) for assistance, the server finally showed up with water. I asked for a food menu and he said he would be right back with it. Ten minutes later, he gave me the menu. I told him I only needed two minutes with it and to come right back. Another ten minutes goes by and he finally returns. I ordered the shrimp avocado bowl and asked for extra dressing on the side. The food arrived 15 minutes later but no extra sauce. I asked the server for the extra sauce and he said he would put it in. I waited another ten minutes and no sauce. The server came by and I asked for it again. He went to the kitchen downstairs and got it himself. He returned around 8 minutes later. I was finally able to eat my food. I quickly ate as I had already been in the restaurant for over an hour at this point. I asked the server to bring my check. He charged me twice for the extra sauce. At this point I was just done and ready to get out, so I paid the bill and left. It is continued lack of service from both the back and front of the house and at two different locations that I will now not be returning to either. Food was okay, but didn't play too much of a part in my experience. Only suggestion I have is leaving the olives off the nachos, everything else was fine. Another 5 minutes having to call out again to get a bartender to take my order with menu set aside that I was well ready as he strolled casually around helping other bartender guests. I'm in the service industry many years - BAD! Finally takes my order like there was no issue. NEVER checks on me again. Literally had his back to me while helping other guests next to me. Thankfully another bartender Hope stepped up and took care of me, checked on me, got me another drink, etc... Being in the industry we let a lot slide but was not a good experience.
