This is our second time coming to this place within a month. Their pho is pretty awesome. I grew up in SoCal and have been to a lot of pho places, and ever since moving here to Utah about 7 years ago we've tried many pho places but none have hit the spot. This place though, isn't that bad. What I love is their "large" pho bowl is actually a large bowl. Compared to other joints here where a "large" isn't really a large. I order brisket pho bowl. And the broth is pretty good. My wife loves their rice, chicken with egg roll combo while our little one likes their rice, pork and egg roll combo. Their egg rolls are pretty good and addicting. Ambiance is nice. Service is okay, they only have two waitresses, so when it gets packed, I can see them not being able to attend to individuals ASAP, but other than that. Would recommend this place. Only comment is that their straws are out and open in every table. This can be a sanitary issue.

One of the best Vietnamese chow houses in the valley. Their pho has the greatest beef broth flavor along with a huge portion of noodles and veggies to compliment. My other fave is the boon-jai-o: rice noodles, bbq pork with egg roll and veggies drowned in slightly sweet fish sauce(yet it doesn't taste fishy). The food is fresh and the service there is spectacular. My waitress, Beam, was very attentive, caring and professional. She's probably the owner. Try this place you will be glad you did--Over and over and over.

My wife and I intended to go to Katsu City a few doors down but they have limited hours and we caught them on a closed day. So, we decided to give Vietopia a try. I had eaten here several years ago when they had a different name. It was long enough ago that I don't know if they are the same, but I know I only went to the other place once, and this will be the only time I visit Vietopia Bistro, so same result. The food was just very mediocre. My Pho Dac Biet didn't have an amazing aroma or any flavors that really popped. My wife had a large bowl that was empty so I was able to unload about 2/3 of the noodles in the Pho and got it to a ratio I like a lot more. I have nothing against the noodles but I like when they ingredients have a little room to swim rather than being entangled in endless noodles. Oh, and then I used the bathroom and not that I would have come back before seeing it, but after, not a chance. I wouldn't want to see that kitchen.

    Loved the sweet potato fries!

I ordered the M2 Crispy Pork Belly with Rice and the M11 Crispy Pork Belly with Banh hoi The portions were incredibly generous, especially the pork belly and I absolutely loved the M2 with rice. The food was delicious and hit all the right notes. I love the creativity in bánh mì bún bò huế; I love how the cuts of meat layered up and we could dip in the bbh broth, just like a french dip sandwich but make it vietnamese! The shop was clean, airy, bright. Durian avocado smoothie was authentic and so good. Vietnamese coffee could be better without the sugar; we ordered black coffee thinking it would be just plain black. My bad, should have clarified upon ordering. I had a duck noodle soup on a previous visit and the portion was so big, it had so much meat and was so good. I wish it would be a permanent menu item instead of being a weekend special.

I have been to Pho Bien Hoa twice now and while their Pho is not my most favorite in the Valley, it does hit the spot. The flavor is fair. It's served piping hot and has a fair amount of proteins and noodles. Of course it came with the side of bean sprouts, Thai basil, and jalapeño with condiments set on the table. I order the regular size and it's just enough for me to finish and feel satisfied. I've tried their wings. It had a garlicky, sweet and sour type sauce. They were fried crispy and I enjoyed them a lot. I've tried their lychee on lychee tea. It was a bit too sweet for me. My better half finished it up for me and ordered the shaking beef for himself. It was tender and flavorful. Pho Bien Hoa is close to my area when I don't feel like traveling far. It's affordable. The dining area and restrooms have always been clean on both visits and the service has been great both times. There's usually a small steady stream of people who dine in or take out. Stop in and judge for yourself.

The food took very long to come out with no updates provided as to why. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait. The pho lacked a lot of flavor, bun rieu was too sweet, chicken curry was soooo thin. The only good thing was the chicken salad (goi ga). Viet food is my favorite but I will not be coming back.

I don't know if there has been a change in management, a new chef, or just a complete menu revamp. I have had their Larb and Nam Thoke recently and they are completely different than they used to be. Much smaller portion, different presentation, and flavors. The Nam Thoke in particular no longer has a hint of bright vibrant flavors and I'd honestly describe the taste as being very similar to spicy beef jerky. They charge $4 (through doordash) for sticky rice now which used to be free with an entree. It's very sad. I feel like we lost a good one. I'm going to have to check in with Thai Delight to see how they're doing.

I'd like to first give a shoutout to the server, Super. He was friendly, communicative, and always made sure that we had everything we wanted/needed. He is everything I would describe as a server that goes above and beyond instead of simply just doing his job. I had ordered the house special pho but also added the oxtail and short ribs so I can taste the flavor from the broth and it was delicious. It was a deeply savory broth, the collagen from the bones gave a silky and yummy texture, and a naturally sweet flavor from the hours spent simmering. I added some lime, sriracha, and hoisin sauce to give it a little more flavor boost and it was perfect. Also ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls and cream cheese wontons as appetizers and they were also delicious. But the main winner here is definitely the pho as expected. I'll be back again for sure.
