    2A. Spring Rolls (2)

Food was more on the bad side. Spring rolls did not look too tasty, chicken was very rubbery, almost looks undercooked. Pho was ok, can't really mess that up. Got the shrimp one. Shrimp was very cheap quality, very small and only a handful of them.

Was a colder evening and dropped in for some pho . The broth was delicious and the beef w vermicelli tasty. Originally we asked for a Banh Mi as well to split but I don't think the waitress understood. Would come by again to try the sandwich and drinks.

When we first walk in we were greeted and it was nice. We order our food. The food came out and it looked delicious. I going to be honest the food look great but the taste is not even close to what Vietnamese food taste like. Their version of fish sauce ruined my rice dish. And the bread was cold and crunchy not Vietnamese style. They should buy their bread from rolls.

    31V. Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli! Yum

This was such a delicious lunch! I ordered the lemongrass tofu vermicelli and my guy ordered the pho. Both dishes were prepared with flavor and presented beautifully. My dish had such a fresh lemongrass taste paired with crispy tofu and crunchy veggies. I loved the salted creme Thai tea. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes. Also the staff were so helpful and informative.

Ended up here because Rollz was closed down from 11-24-21 to 11-29-21 and it was the 27th. We then tried to order online and You and I Kitchen, but that wasn't working so we just sort of started looking around and saw this place, which was open. We got our food to go. Staff was medium friendly. As we waited for our food I got to watch one of the employees greeting about 4 groups customers as they came in. It was clear that as they started getting a little busy she was getting a little shorter with the guests. I don't think I'd want to see her if they were slammed. I got the Bun Bo Hue. At first bite I was impressed, as the flavor was quite strong although there wasn't much heat. As I continued eating the flavor actually started to be a little overpowering and towards the end I felt like this broth was made from a concentrate. I just enjoyed this less and less with each bite. I'd definitely pick Rollz or You and I Kitchen for this dish in the area and their would be others on this about Pho To list if I was willing to travel a little further. Oh, almost forgot. They put the lime, Thai basil, jalapeno and sprouts all in a rather large bag. There was well over half a cup of water collected in the bag when I opened it up. Neither I or my daughter eat the sprouts in our soup but if I normally did I wouldn't have this time. I was glad to have them as a buffer so that the dingy water stayed off the other stuff. My daughter got the Meatball Pho and I didn't ask her how it was. The dining room was okay. A little dingy and their counter area was disorganized and unappealing. It makes me concerned about the kitchen to see a food prep area in full view that is not tidy and well organized. Their prices are high. A couple dollars over nearby restaurants that have better food. I do not see myself going back. I originally had them at 3 stars abut as I wrote the review I didn't feel like I was writing a 3 star review for them (I consider 3 stars to be pretty good) so I had to bump it down to 2 stars.

Bun 43R. Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodle Soup bun Bo hue

It's been awhile since I've came to eat here but I can definitely notice it wasn't the same as the very first time! This place and gossip was always my go to for Bun bo Hue but I don't think it will be anymore. Especially with prices for their food increased by a lot. With Covid makes sense that they would increase but they went from $8 pho to almost $15. Which I thought was insane considering their food was okay! If it how it was when it first opened I wouldn't minded but I can definitely tell they changed cooks or something! I was disappointed that they don't give all the veggies that normally come with Bun Bo Hue, they just give your pho veggies. No cabbage or red mint. I do appreciate that they always hook it up with the Vietnamese ham since I don't get the beef. I'm not sure if it's because we came late but the noodle ratio was way off. There was hardly any noodles and the noodles that were in there where like small as if they had been cut. The broth was okay but did not have much flavor as when I used to come a lot, because it did taste a little watered down. Pho was good I will probably just stick to that if I do come here again.

This place has really stepped up their game since I was last here. Fully packed restaurant and the servers were on top of everything. Pho broth & meat were still delicious and smooth without the added grease. The vermicelli dishes were still fantastic, the egg rolls I thought were so-so. My brother and his wife really enjoyed them and the fresh spring rolls. Service made this quick and effortless and left feeling satisfied. For sure will be back as nothing better on a 10 degree day than a piping hot bowl of Pho!

    50C. Chicken Fried Rice

I don't know what happened to this establishment but the food has gone down in taste and quality . THIS IS THE WHITEST AND TASTELESS FRIED RICE I SEEN AND TASTED IN MY LIFE! chicken looks and taste like it was recooked for a 2nd time not even fresh. I just can't get over how horrible this fried rice taste. And I can taste old oil that's being reused for cooking. I tasted that same gross old oil taste in my spring and the Grilled Pork Vermicelli THE MEAT IS HARD, CHEWY AND SALTY. I am never coming back to this place again. Any Vietnamese restaurant is better than this! What a waste of money!

Raw meat for delivery????? Really???? Did I order pho from restaurant or ordered grocery shopping.

Got raw meant with blood around,,, Am I supposed to cook it from beginning when I order delivery?

So, I will bluntly say this is now my FAVORITE Vietnamese restaurant hands down in UTAH. Not just salt lake county, UTAH. The place is CLEAN, multiple Vietnamese people dining (which usually indicates authentic ness), and the place is modern and snazzy with. Ultimen big screen TVs and different shows going on. I loved it. Nice sorry vibe. We ordered the chicken noodle soup with the 43R broth and also the house beef special with the 43R broth. PERFECTION. On a cold night, these soups are exquisite. You will find them looking greasy, yet it lands like mana from heaven. My wife, who has a sensitive stomach, found it perfect. It did not affect her stomach, and even tolerated its spiciness. The generosity of the meats was superb. Let's not even talk about the flavor, DELICIOUS. We then took the walnut shrimp to go. When they say lightly altered, they really mean grilled :). You could barely see any bread, which to me was attested to their generosity to give you more substance. The grilled veggies with it and sauce was excellent. We haven't had such good boba drink since we've been to Las Vegas. (We've tried many in utah) this place took the top in flavor. CAVIAT, almost didn't give 5 stars for this, the actual boba was more firm than soft. I have them the benefit of the doubt this time, I hope to not be disappointed next time. Then the 3 layer dessert. TRY IT! It's weird at first since you don't usually think of kidney and red beans as a dessert, but man, what delicious smooth flavor with something to bite into at the end. (It is more of a drink). I recommend waiting for the ice to melt and enjoy all its goodness. Ok, As a side note and some context, we came here from the freezing cold mountain after a night of snowboarding and almost flipping our vehicle (we had to get pulled out with a cat) coming down the mountain. The 5 stars may be slightly Influenced by this

Are they still open for business or did they change the name? When I drive by their name is not on the building but some other name is up there.

Do they have a drive through?

No drive-through. They have a patio on the side of the building.

Do they use MSG in their food?

I dont believe so. I believe they had a sign saying no MSG. I would call, to confirm though.

Well let me tell you the viet coffee and matcha is legit. I'm a big fan of ube, and both times I got drinks with ube foam, which was so smooth and decadent without overpowering the drinks. Both times my husband got viet lattes and those were also delicious. I also tried their banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) and the friendly staff member asked me if I wanted it heated up, which I did. It was the perfect light on-the-road lunch. They even have banh mi and various desserts too. Generally, on a trip I try to go to as many local spots as I can, so when I make a repeat visit, it means a place is extra special to me.
