The owner heard about my problem and due to their reassurance I decided to give Thap Ba another try. On my second time around I realized that the first time was not at all characteristic of how great Thap Ba truly is. I received exceptional service from the owner's son. It's always great to see families working together to create such a good business. I started off with some chicken salad rolls which were fresh and delicious. Then I had the vermicelli with grilled beef and it was equally as tasty. All of the ingredients were very fresh and served piping hot. The spring roll was perfectly crunchy and hot as well. Unfortunately this location is hidden in Red Deer's industrial sector and is not very exposed to the public. They do get quite busy at lunch, but you will still receive great speedy service. It's a shame that there aren't more people there at dinner time. Thap Ba also delivers and caters, so you can get their food whenever you would like. It's also worth noting that the restaurant is licensed and offers happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. They also have daily specials for extra deals. Their normal prices are so great ordinarily that the specials aren't really necessary.
