The dining room was not too large but was made efficient with table placement. We ordered at the counter then were assigned a table by the woman who took our order. There were a few other patrons when we arrived. Our food came out in about ten minutes. I had a double cheeseburger with onion rings and Andrew had a mushroom burger. His burger had a gray mushroom sauce on it that made the burger sloppy. Andrew enjoyed it. My burger was not your typical burger. It seems to be hand made and had some seasoning on it. It was a bit too salty and and also kind of tough. It was good though. The onion rings were typical. Business really picked up while we were there with many more customers. If I were to go back I would get the chicken finger basket. One of our co-diners had that and it looked good.

The children's hotdog was a good size, but priced a bit high. The person who took our order was friendly and helpful. Part of the reason we came here was that they advertised 100% natural beef. My wife has allergies to various ingredients - the reason we chose this restaurant was because of the natural beef. As the pictures indicate their beef is not natural - it is filled with various other ingredients - some which are anything but natural. We were quite disappointed in this. Seems like a bit of false advertising. Unlikely that we would come back

Wasn't too busy on this day, just a handful of customers. Water who also doubled as the host was great. Came and took our drink orders right away. I ordered the O'Sheas burger. Perfect. My wife had the Jambalaya - definitely not award winning despite what the menu said. The kids shared a shepherd's pie which was on special this day. They really enjoyed it. Waiter came back and gave the kids oreas - nice touch. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back. Maybe check out some of the other items on the menu.

Atmosphere: From what I can see, it was a typical put style atmosphere. Taste / Value for Money: I ordered the Mediterranean steak salad but substituted the steak for salmon. The salad tasted alright but I wish there were other types of greens besides romaine lettuce. The salmon didn't have much flavour but it was nicely grilled. The salad came with a grilled tomato which tasted a little frozen but with grill marks on one side.... Pretty mediocre salad for $17 I would say. Next time I will order something more substantial but I was feeling like eating veggies that day.

I am not sure if it is a new restaurant or not, but it did have that polished, renovated appearance, mixed with the old fashioned A & W colors. There were a few locals hanging around having breakfast, and my favorite was a little senior citizen couple that were sitting beside each other, instead of across from each other. Cute! I ordered my deluxe breakfast, because I was feeling like the works. I wanted toast, bacon a hashbrown and toast. When they asked how I wanted my eggs, I made sure I told them over hard, because my worst breakfast turnoff is snotty eggs where the white are running. Runny yolks - good. Runny whites - revolting. I am a pro at being disappointed on eggs when I go out, so in a fast food restaurant, my expectations were in check. However, when my breakfast came out. My.... eggs.... were.... over... hard! Like I asked!!! I'm not kidding! This doesn't happen in places where I pay $15 for bacon and eggs. A&W Express staff listened and delivered! Usually when I review any type of franchise, I struggle to let you know what is special about one fast food chain to another. A&W Express made it easy. :)

They have some options that aren't traditionally Vietnamese, but don't hate them for diversifying and trying to appeal to a larger audience. They had some dim sum offerings and a few dishes one might say is Chinese. Most memorable was their honey garlic crispy chicken wings - they were hot and crispy as promised, and low key would give Korean fried chicken a run for their money. I don't recall much about their pho, but as someone who has pho at least once a week, it takes a lot for pho to be memorable so take it as a solid contender at this place! We have experienced variety of service at this specific location, from quite excellent to slightly worse than average. As usual it depends on the day and your server. The food is generally solid in quality and in large enough portions to fill you up. The menu is fairly extensive, and I generally don't struggle to find something to eat no matter my current mood of cravings.
