After circling the block a few times, I was able to park a block away on the street. When I walked in, I mentioned I was picking up food but I also wanted to order a coffee. The man at the counter rudely told me that I had to pick up my food at the counter in the back. When I asked if they had nonfat milk, I was again met with an attitude and he said "we only have local milk and three dairy alternatives." It was very clear that I wasn't being respected because I wasn't a local. Imagine my surprise when a small/medium sized latte, with no syrup, was $9.10. Absolute highway robbery for an average latte. For food, I ordered an avocado toast with shaved egg. I had a much better experience interacting with the woman at the food window. She was incredibly kind, made an effort to talk to me and my food was ready 20 minutes early. It was good and fresh, but I now know that I'm not a fan of the texture of shaved eggs. After some research, we figured out that Eleanor's gets their coffee from Banyan Coffee, which is a local Palmetto family that roasts coffee beans locally!!!
