The war memorial near Eisenhower is a somber tribute to our fallen, and the park's location across from some of the oldest homes in Loveland lends it a sense of warm nostalgia. My parents first met here in the early 70's, back when my great-grandparents still lived just down the street. Almost 50 years later, this little park is almost unchanged. This is Loveland at its best--timeless and quiet, still untarnished by the growing city around it. If you want to feel "small-town Loveland" again, there's no better place to be.
