Craig and the crew at Movietyme Video Productions are a great company to work with on my projects. The first project I took to Craig was a very important one- the 100th Anniversary of my church. I had created a movie file which needed to be converted from its computer file into a DVD format, and then to burn 325 DVDs for everyone attending the 100th Anniversary Banquet and Celebration. The movie was to be shown at the celebration, and everyone attending was to receive a copy of the DVD. They did a fantastic job with the DVDs. Since that project's completion, Craig and Movietyme have converted and burned additional DVD movie projects I have worked on for family and friends. I just picked up two more sets of DVDs for new projects from Craig this week, and informed him that more would be coming. Movietyme will also be taking a very old Super 8 movie of my parents' wedding, and converting it to a DVD for me, and for family members. Eventually, I intend on asking them to take key 8mm movies belonging to my family, and converting them to DVDs as well. I trust Craig and Movietyme. They have so many other services that they provide, and it is well worth anyone's time and effort to check them out. They have customer service that goes way beyond regular expectations. They even got back to me on Friday the 31st when I left a voicemail requesting a link when they were closed for New Years! I wasn't expecting anything until Monday the 3rd but they sent me an email and text with the link about an hour later for me to share with my family. For the quality of the digital transfer, I'm very happy with the results. They were as good as the original tapes and probably even improved the quality since the tapes were not that clear when played on our old machine. I hope they will be in business a long time because I keep finding old tapes I need to convert. My mom was so happy with the result! We got to see our very beloved Grandma, Grandpa and Great Aunt on the screen again after many years of their passing. This was a precious gift. Thanks guys!! read more

I thought Movietyme productions made only movies and videos until a friend shared with me how versatile the company is. She had had the very work done that I was interested in and recommended them highly. I went in and talked to Craig Purdum regarding converting cassette tapes of my late husband's Jazz Combo into CD's to give to family and friends as a remembrance. He did an amazing job in a timely manner and even designed a label for the CD and jacket covers that is purely professional. One would have never guessed by the quality of the sound of the CD's that they were taken from old cassettes tucked away in a paper bag. The Indianapolis Public Library is using MVP film, tape, and slide conversion services in order to provide access to content on out of date or difficult to use formats. MVP is very professional, does good work, and delivers on promises. They currently have about 400 VHS, Betacam, cassettes, DAT, audio reels, records, film reels, and slides they are converting over the course of the year. They are one of my go to vendors now. We used Movietyme to transfer a song from a 1969 high school production vinyl album to digital download. Their instructions for the process were complete and easy to follow. We had our download within one day of the album's arrival at their studio. They "cleaned up" the scratchy song and the quality of the download is wonderful.
