I called and it was an automated process. I received a call back within a few minutes with the technician who reported he would be there within 25-30 minutes. He did report within that time frame. He was able to open the door quickly within a few minutes. The technician was not super friendly but he got right to it. I did appreciate the quick service, the huge downside for me was the price- it was $264 and the technician made a comment about adding a tip and when we didn't say anything he said I guess you aren't tipping me which felt a bit unnecessary especially considering the high price of the service. Life lesson learned to give your spare keys out as soon as possible to avoid this! read more

Why on earth would I request to have a key fob made if my car was bricked prior to your technician messing around with my wiring harness. that doesn't make sense. We had a key fob stolen out of our car one evening(I know, how dumb am I for leaving a key fob in my car overnight), along with some other things in my car. I needed to purchase a key fob, and have the car reprogrammed so that only my extra key fob and the one I was purchasing was able to access the vehicle, and drive it away (because the thief did drive it down the street and ditch it). I reached out to a handful of companies through their online portals, and this was the only locksmith that actually got back to me (+1 point). They said they could do it, and I scheduled a time the following week at 2pm (that's important). The day of my appointment, I get a phone call that Andrew the locksmith is running behind, and wouldn't be at my house until 2:30 or 3- okay, no big deal- I get companies run behind. He didn't end up arriving at my house until 4:30, a whole two and a half hours after my appointment that I made about two weeks in advance (-1point). Good thing I didn't have anything planned around that time. He got to work, and around forty five minutes, comes and gets me. He tells me that he is done for the day, and would need to trade out the fob I was purchasing with another one, and would have to come back the next day to re-do it. Okay, no big deal- sometimes things don't work out. I was like "okay, do you have a timeframe." "Nah, just depends on when I can trade it out with my guy." I was like "alright, no big deal. I'm free pretty much all day tomorrow. If you could give me like an hour notice before your coming so I can make sure I'm available that would be great." "Oh yeah, thats great." The following day I get a phone call. "Hey I'll be there in twenty minutes if that works with you." I had just left my house ten minutes before to run an errand, so I had to hurry back home to meet him. He ended up getting the fob changed out. Overall, I'm satisfied (originally used the word happy in my review before the owner replied)with the work (as long as the guy with the stolen fob ~really~ isn't able to come and jack the car from me and I didn't get robbed $320 to reprogram the car and fob for it to be a sham)....but man, punctuality and communication are two things I look for in a business, and this business is lacking in those departments- hard to say if I would use them again for my locksmith needs. read more

Shut the door this morning and immediately realized I had no keys to get back inside. Super bummed, usually I have a window or something to climb in- but no. Nothing. I have never called a locksmith before, I just assumed they were really expensive or would take hours. They offer a variety of services. They can help with automotive, residential, commercial, & even provide new locks for an extra fee. Jeff the dispatcher confirmed my request and sent over my info to Steve. Steve quickly got back to me and was at my house in 25 minutes. I wasn't able to leave work so my in laws met him there and he was able to open all 3 locks! I accidentally broke off my only key in my hatchback. (duhh) So I had to have these guys come out on a Saturday morning and make a new key for me. A professional younger guy named Andrew showed up. He was friendly, told me up front the pricing, assessed the situation quickly and had the key made in about 20 minutes or so. I think it was like $220. Didn't seem too bad given the service. I had managed to lock myself out of my house while I was out of town for work. When I came home I called for a 24 hour locksmith, and this was the only one that responded. The gentleman they sent out came with no professional tools other than a couple of Phillips head screwdrivers and car window inflation bags. Before attempting to drill out the cylinder to get the door open he forced the screwdrivers between the sliding door and the frame causing massive damage. He also fumbled around not knowing the name of parts of the lock and I had to stop him before more damage was caused. He still charged me $130, even though he couldn't open the door and massively damaged the frame. Completely unacceptable. read more

Duh me, I locked my keys in the car! I was in dire need of my door unlocked as I needed to get to an important meeting. I called Mobile LockSmith gave them the make and model of the car and my contact. Less than 2 minutes later the mechanic STEVE called to tell me he was on his way. In 15 minutes, yes 15 minutes he arrived and 5 minutes (maybe less) the door was unlocked. The price was affordable as he was very understanding and made it happen for me. Called this company for a residential re-key for front and back door. Only 4 locks total. I asked 3 seperate times for an estimate before they came out and they kept telling me they would send me before they came. Sure enough I made the mistake of keeping the appointment even though they kept 'forgetting' to send. For a simple re-key service, they tried invoicing me after 15 minutes of work for $540. The worker that came out literally went into an unmarked minivan and completed this simple task then charged me $540 ($129 per lock) plus a service charge. I was appalled and they offered "50% off for the misunderstanding) but still over $280. Why would I not just buy new locks at this rate? The worker then refused to give me the 4 copies of keys I was promised since "we had to take a loss with the discount we gave you". So I paid $285 for 2 new keys.... Super unprofessional, would never recommend or call this company again. Total scam read more

Needed to have four locks re-keyed. Called dispatcher, and was given a show time of 40 minutes. Igor arrived promptly at 10:30am, assessed the locks, gave me a quote which I OK'd and he proceeded to perform the work. He finished in less than one hour. The price was a bit high, but reasonable enough. No one else seemed to want the job on the day after Thanksgiving. Their loss was Mobile Locksmith's gain. read more

Worst Customer Service Ever. I am handicapped and was waiting in the hot sun at a business that was closing. So I waited for a professional locksmith to show up. Someone else called a locksmith for me because my phone was at less than 1%. Then of course it died. A very unkept guy shows up with underwear hanging out of shorts, no Company Logo on shirt, in a personal vehicle that looked in bad shape. No Company logo or anything on vehicle. Did no introduction nothing! Did not ask for anything to be signed before unlocking car. Took so long to unlock car I was about to give up and call someone else. Finally got car open and I HAD TO ASK FOR THE FOLLOWING: His name - Wouldn't Give It Company Name - Didn't know it, said he was new. Manager Name - Gave first name only Company Phone # - Didn't know it, took forever to find a # in his phone he said was his Manager's named Nathan. Wrote down my credit card info on a cheap duplicate paper. Guess I'll be watching my bank account closely for a while. Charged me $109.00 for worst experience! As a single female this was a very bad horrible experience, very scary. I was in a bad situation and felt terrible. How about, Hi I'm NAME HERE with COMPANY NAME, a business card with info, COMPANY LOGO on a vehicle at least, even better if on a uniform and I will get this taken care of for you, no need to worry. Let me help you get in some shade (as I'm standing in my walker on one leg with one foot dangling) in the boiling sun while I take care of this for you. However, even with the technicians taking as much off as they could I still paid $100 to have them air pump my door open and unlock it with a little claw. The gentleman was nice, gave me a call back quickly after inquiring a estimate online. Setup an appointment the next day, he was on time and and took care of the problem. I was locked out of my car, it was in an outdoor parking gararge in downtown Indy and it was below freezing outside. I was pretty desperate, and this company had good reviews on Google so I called them. The operator quoted $19 for a service fee and $45 for the unlock and told me a technician would call right away. He did and I told him my situation and where I was located. There was a bit of a language barrier, and it was clear he did not know downtown Indianapolis. He said he could not find the intersection where the garage is, but I finally found the address to the garage and texted it to him so he could find me. He told me it would take 30 minutes to get there and I had already spent 30 talking to him and looking up the address, etc. I went to a restaurant to get out of the cold and wait and he texted when he was 20 minutes away. After another 30 minutes he called saying he was turning onto the street, so I went outside to meet him. I was talking to him and I watched him drive right by the street (at the time I did not know it was his vehicle) and he blamed it on his GPS and said he was two minutes out. In all, I was standing in the freezing cold for nearly 20 minutes. Ultimately, he turned down the wrong street and I had to walk a block to find him and walk him up to my car. Once he got to the car and determined he could open it he first turned to me and asked if I had cash. I told him no and the operator said I could use a credit card. He said fine, so $90 is good. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I told him no, that is not what I was quoted and he started hassling me about the time involved to drive out and the labor, etc. I told him the time was his fault and he should be compensating me for the wait in the cold. He then tried to "negotiate" the price to $80 and then $75. It was not until I asked him what kind of scam he was running that he backed-down and said he would do it for the $65 quoted (it was $64, but whatever). After that it took under 5 minutes for him to pry the door with an air pump and press the unlock button with a lever. I paid him and got away from him ASAP. A BAIT & SWITCH OPERATION I don't know if it is the company or the technician or both, but I would steer clear of them. read more

Technician arrived and told me it was going to be $120 to unlock my car. Why? "The age of the vehicle." (It's a 2013.) When I inquired about the price he said he could "make me a deal." Price went down to $88. I asked about the reason for the high cost again and the technician must have known that I was going to send him packing when he broke the cost down to me: $19 fee for showing up, $45 for lockout service. "Best price I can give you is $65." So I paid $1 more than what is advertised on the website just to get this guy out of my life. He also almost hit several kids as he drove through the school playground and argued with the staff when he was asked to back his van up. When I contacted "customer service" I was told that the technician sets the price. Um, then why even have prices listed online? Don't call these people. They'll try to swindle you out of money!!! read more
