There key work was satisfactory but they were deceptive and evasive in price quoting (or non-quoting). I asked via email for total amount of fees for their service and received cost of making duplicate key and fob only, I have that one quote saved in my email. When the serviceman arrived I again asked for the total price. The amount quoted me did not include $69.00 service fee and did not include their 6% charge card fee (double the 3% fee most other vendors add). I was asked to pay without seeing an invoice in writing, received said invoice via email after my account was charged. I sent an email request for at least the service charge to be refunded and I would eat the double charge card fee. No response whatsoever. I did have a better price on the key but not the fob. Had I known about the hidden charges, I would definitely gone elsewhere. read more

He needed to order the key fob so ended up coming 3 times on 2 different days to complete this project. First time came within a few hours of requesting help. I called this company a recording answered asked me for some information and said that a technician will call me back. The technician called me back only a few minutes after placing the call. I told him the situation he quoted me between $180-$200 for the key, when the technician arrived, he immediately start working on the key. He asked me to pay for the key prior to finish making it which I did with no problem. The gentleman charged my card and didn't even offer to give me a receipt when I asked him for the receipt he asked for my phone number which I gave and then he sent a digital receipt to my phone. When I look at the invoice I was charged $238 instead of the $180-$200 that I was quoted on the phone, he told me that the price changed because he needed to contact the dealership or something to get some type of codes. OK no problem $38 more than what I was planning on paying but hey I really needed the key. The key started the car however, I CANNOT get the key out of the ignition when I asked him about it he proceeds to insult my intelligence by saying that my car has an ignition problem , which it clearly does not. like I said, I didn't get the name of the gentleman that came out but he was very rude to me. I am very dissatisfied with my service and I do not recommend them or at least not that technician ever again. Without providing specific details of my situation. My now ex fiancé decided it was a good idea to destroy my key fob to my Ford Explorer. I called around several places and got ridiculously high prices. Until I reached out to this company here. He explained the price and because of some circumstances between a joint bank account and some money being removed, without being told, I did not have much to spend so again without specific details. This man literally gave me a price cheaper than what he paid for it, and actually came out not so much losing money, but basically even doubt he really didn't make much money off this, if at all, but he went above and beyond without a doubt. This was the most amazing company I have ever worked with in my life. This gentleman is truly in the business for people and not for money. He came the first time, and because I had too many keys programmed to my vehicle, it wouldn't work and obviously my car wouldn't go anywhere because I didn't have a key fob because it accidentally got smashed into pieces by hammer. So he did have another key fob. He had no choice but choice charge the 50 for that but at that point I did not have it so he left he kept in contact with me throughout the day while doing other jobs and mentioned probably 15 other ideas just trying to get me ideas of how to maybe get that 50 so we can get this issue repaired I finally came up with the rest of the money well most the rest the money and he was willing to even accept that. He came back and now my car is back up and running and I have two key fobs now so that I can hide one actually, I'll probably keep both in , but I would recommend this company to any and everyone. This man is absolutely amazing. He's so kind and caring and gentle and understanding. This company far far exceeds any Locksmith company I've ever used in my entire life and there's no way in hell I've ever in my life using another Locksmith company! Quote was fast and easy. Service person was friendly and nice. But even after confirming the appointment, the service person was almost an hour late, didn't seem to know about it all until I called. He knew basically nothing about the job and what he was supposed to do until he got there. Job took about three hours of work, total, but almost three full days to complete, and final cost was double the original estimate. It feels more like a subcontracting situation, as the service person had no uniform, no company vehicle. Was dressed in what appeared to be workout clothes and drove his own Honda minivan. Friendly, but the whole process had zero professionalism. EDIT as a response: Yes, I did ask to add more locks, and I understand how that can raise a price - not issue with that detail. I did NOT know that he would have to order them through Home Depot, and it would cause a delay in the job. That wasn't mentioned until he was on site that first day, late and seemingly knowing nothing at all about the job. And we were charged $95 for those $29 "special" locks. I know this because he was very clear about having them order exactly what I showed him when he didn't know what an exterior plate deadbolt was... Markup is one thing. More than tripling the cost of hardware after springing a two day delay on a customer who was clearly frustrated? That's amateur hour, man. read more

I will say that they came out to change my locks very quickly, but I specifically stated it was not an emergency. Car that showed up was unmarked and no advertising of company. Worker did not wear facemask at all. Was here for a total of 10 minutes and labor charge was $150. Receipt had no specifying information on ticket like company name or address, just a carbon copy receipt with "Locksmith Services" on the top. Called to make a complaint with dispatcher and was able to received a little refund, however - it was paid through Zelle. Just overall seems extremely fishy even though was assured company has not gotten complaints in the past. For a security type of company - just seemed really sketchy. And extremely expensive for just changing locks - came out to around $100 per lock (3) with labor added into cost. read more

Here's the review; *Called to have 8 locks rekeyed. Locksmith Pro Technician called and confirmed a 2:45 arrival. At 2:45 I called again, Igor said it would be an hour more before he could arrive. We actually had 9 locks to rekey, so that added one. Igor informed us that it would be the same cost for him to rekey, or to replace the whole lock. We questioned that, and he stated it again and said plus it's easier for him and better for us to replace the whole lock instead of rekeying. Technician said the service would be completed at 6-6:30. It was 11:00 PM before he completed the job. One of the staff had to stay with him, but if he'd given a real time estimate we would have rescheduled. How was this easier than rekeying them? Charged $279 per door, and one isn't unlockable. Highway robbery. *Technician came back the next week. He disagreed with the owner and office manager about how the lock should be handled, stating that it would be very expensive to replace it with the same locks we paid for on all of the other doors. Since we already paid for it, that seems a ridiculous argument on his behalf. Anyway, he came back yet another day and finally made the last lock match the others. *The price is way over what should have been for the service we requested, which was rekeying. We had requested 8 keys initially, but the locksmith told us the price would be $10 per key. After being made to purchase a fully new handle, you'd think a key would have come with each lock but no. *We are requesting that the price of this visit be adjusted to properly reflect the market for rekeying services. *BTW, an office building has to have a key that works with the Fire Marshall's Master Key. We of course didn't know this. Shouldn't a professional locksmith have known? The entire job has to be redone and I have a quote for $40 per lock. Obviously not by Locksmith Pro. *We will update this review if an appropriate resolution can be reached. read more
