It doesn't particularly bother me that the store isn't in the most ideal location. I also don't care that the actual store is downstairs in a somewhat rundown building. Nor do I care that the place is dark, and a complete mess. Though, it would have been nice to know how the hell the place was actually organized. Where are the new comics? Back issues?! Are they all just thrown in together? Why can't I find anything? Also, why is the one and only employee ignoring the only customers in the store? Why is this employee so terribly lacking of any customer service skills that he won't say a word?! I'm standing at the counter, two feet away from him, and he still refuses to acknowledge me, when it's clear that I want to buy something. Really? 20 minutes go by, and the only employee in the store acts as if his only customers do not exist. How does this place stay in business?! Is this seriously the only comic book store in all of Dubuque? If the owner is "a recluse that is uncomfortable around others", then that's unfortunate. However, if you own a business, especially retail, you absolutely must do better than this. Or have someone else on staff that can actually do what's required to make some sales. There were two people in the store, trying to spend some money, but really weren't given the opportunity. We ended up just leaving, having not been treated with any respect, and without spending any money. And I don't think we'll be giving this place another chance. Extremely disappointing.

The only store close to where I was that was open before 11am was Quicksave Games, so I drove the extra distance to Fitchburg to check them out. I knew the general value of my games going in and was pleasantly surprised at the amount I was offered in trade. I ended up finding a couple PS4 VR games that I had been searching for and they gave me a little cash too to cover the remainder of the trade value. The games I found were reasonably priced based on their Price Charting value. The store has an excellent selection of both retro and current games. I was impressed by finding video game guides as well. If you need console/controller repair or swapping out dead batteries in video games, those are services they offer. I'm glad I made the decision to stop at Quicksave Games and would do so again if the opportunity arises.

He left the bed and washer/dryer in the house so I could use them while I was there. He had the washer/dryer sold and the guy who bought them couldn't take them until a later date because his new residence was not available till then. Ron and I agreed that he would come back and get all the items when he picked up the washer/dryer. Well here I am back in Houston and he made an agreement with the neighbor who had a key to the house to let Ron in. So Ron instead of contacting me removed the washer/dryer and left the other items. After several texts he told me was officially done, which means that he didn't keep his agreement. His agreement was with me not the neighbor. So now I have to fly back from Houston to remove two items from the house that he had previously agreed to remove. Don't use Ron, he doesn't keep his word. His excuse is this is a family matter, etc. It has zero to do with family, his agreement was with me. No one else was involved. If you use Ron the same thing might happen to you. He continued to rant in text messages to me but I told him I blocked him so who knows what his continued rant was!! NOT RELIABLE AT ALL!!!!!!

Crazy idea, but maybe take the case off the shelf then? When you ask the employees questions, they seem like they have no idea what they're talking about and just BS answers. Definitely don't seem like they're informed about the games they're shilling, even the big names. On Black Friday, I had the aforementioned "we don't have this game despite you giving me the case" thing happen to me but also heard the same employee tell a customer that was curious about Age of Calamity that it was just like Diablo 3. In what possible way are those games comparable? I lost brain cells that day.
