I grew up playing video games, and I still play here and there, so I already knew this place was going to be pure nostalgia for me and it definitely was. I was a kid in a candy story and totally geeking out! Walking around the store brought back so many childhood memories. They had games I honestly haven't seen in over 30 years, along with all kinds of consoles and games from different generations. Some of these games I probably would never play again, but just seeing them on the shelves took me back. It was cool seeing the old-school Nintendo video game magazines. Some of those magazines have to be close to 30 years old! The entire store was basically one big nostalgia trip. I didn't end up buying anything, but I still enjoyed just walking around and checking everything out. If you grew up gaming or have played on different systems over the past 40 years, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

The floor is absolutely gorgeous and the air duct work being painted like Mario's green pipes is hilarious. They have the biggest selection of used games and consoles, carrying all the classics and newest. It almost reminds me a little of sneaker resellers the way they have things shrink wrapped and behind glass cases. Additionally they sell Pokémon cards, plushies and amiibos! I was specifically looking for Mesoamerican mythology and history of colonial Mexico and I found it. Books are decently priced, they have both new and used. The price point is fairly accessible for the condition of the books. I love getting lost in those shelves it's the best part of bookstores in my opinion. Staff is always friendly and helpful, always willing to give you a free bookmark or a photo of a crop circle!
