First and foremost, do not waste your time or money coming here…read more As a Miami native, I was genuinely disappointed by both the food and the level of service. Unfortunately, neither lived up to expectations. We started with the "jumbo" wings, which were anything but jumbo. We received only flats, and they were some of the smallest wings I've ever been served. After bringing this to the staff's attention, we were told the manager would take 50% off the order. However, when the bill arrived, we were informed that the manager had already left and the discount could no longer be honored. Instead, we were given only the $4 happy hour discount, despite being promised otherwise. For our entrées, we ordered the brisket sandwich and the half chicken. Neither was worth ordering. The chicken lacked the crispy texture it was advertised to have, and the brisket was bland and without flavor. The sandwich was also supposed to come with truffle fries, but instead we were served cold, plain fries. After mentioning it, the solution was to bring us a side of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese and ask us to mix it ourselves. The service was equally disappointing. We asked our server twice for drink refills, but she never brought them. We eventually had to flag down another server just to get our beverages refilled. Overall, this was a frustrating dining experience from start to finish. Between the poor-quality food, unfulfilled promises regarding the bill, and inattentive service, this restaurant fell well below the standard I would expect from a Miami establishment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues because the current level of food quality and customer service is simply unacceptable. and quality is embarrassing for miami.

The reviews that I read after my bad experience with this place confirms that while the food is good but overpriced the service sucks because the servers are getting the gratuity anyway. The management ( Marius) should seriously evaluate the attitude and customer service skills of their servers, or at least the one that served us ( Douglas) I asked him politely if it would be possible to add an egg yolk to my tuna tartare, and the server didn't even bother checking with the chef/ manager or at least making an effort to pretend to. The response felt dismissive and uninterested. The food for my party was good, but unfortunately the customer service completely ruined the experience. Because of this, I won't be recommending this place, nor will I be returning. BTW you can ask your server to remove that 20% "automated" gratuity if there is no service. They can't force it on you. Especially if they don't tell you ahead of time.

Located inside the Found Hotel (a Marriott Edition), Bar Luca is a little restaurant with a beautiful bar area and attractive decor. The wicker-seated chairs aren't super comfortable, but they have other options. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food arrived quickly and steaming hot. Portions are huge - easily large enough to split. Expect tons of garlic. Prices seem typical for Miami Beach; $20 cocktails, $22 glasses of wine and entreés are ~$30+. Please note they have an 18% service added to the bill. The worst part was the bathroom experience. They're down a badly-maintained staircase behind the host stand, through an untidy/messy lobby (we saw piles of dirty towels and someone's bike). The women's bathroom smelt terrible, like they hadn't emptied the trash in days. The floor was filthy, one toilet had leaked, and there was no soap. Such a terrible shame, it let the whole experience down.

We tried everything on the Miami Spice menu, except the lamb, and everything was delicious. The explosion of flavors from each dish made it obvious all the thought process behind each ingredient. My friend described it best, "each bite taste so different" and she was right. Each dish has so many ingredients that each bite was different. I can't think of another place that has put that much thought into every dish. I also loved how fresh everything was. Even the leaf on the my cocktail was the farm. It cannot get any fresher than that. The cocktail I tried was the Watermelon Sugar High and it was so delicious. They also brought me an extra dessert with a candle for my birthday. I loved this thoughtful thought. The service was excellent. Our plates and utensils were replaced after every dish. The table was also cleaned between each round of food. This small gesture can make a big difference. The whole staff was attentive to our table despite the restaurant being full and I absolutely loved that. I also liked how the kitchen has a clear glass so you can see the chef cooking but without getting the smell. Overall, this was a spectacular experience. I absolutely loved everything about it. Once we paid, our server did tell us they needed the table as the other reservation was arriving. I wish we could have stayed longer but I understand the restaurant being full.
