Fruit Assortment
Saurabh D.

When staying at the Fontainebleau, Vida is a great choice for brunch. For brunch, Vida features a traditional breakfast menu along with a buffet option for people who want a little more variety. The atmosphere is very open with booth style tables and plenty of sunlight from the large windows overlooking the pool. For food we ordered the following: - Two eggs any style with sides of chicken apple sausage and hashbrowns. Overall these were delicious and I really enjoyed how the hashbrowns were packaged in a solid cube. They were still perfectly crispy as well. - Pancakes - while they were visually appealing, it tasted slightly burnt and tough. - Fruit Assortment - a mix of different fruits including mango, pineapple, kiwi and more. This was refreshing and presented nicely. Overall Vida is a great choice for breakfast, it's a tad on the pricey side but its location in the hotel makes it a great option.

We did the breakfast buffet and it was amazing. A lot of food options, from omelette station to smoked salmon , chicken and waffles. The service was good as well, our waiter was attentive. Coffee and juice was included. There is a service charge in this restaurant and so is everywhere in the hotel. But overall would eat there again.

Vida offered an experience unlike any other restaurant I've ever visited. On my first visit, ever, to Miami, FL, my friends and I visited Vida for dinner and let me tell you, the atmosphere was so relaxing and the service was outstanding! Most of the time, when dining out, I order some sort of fish or seafood and I've most certainly had my fair share of salmon. This dish right here was different from salmon that I've had at other restaurants. It was full of flavor and the garnish and veggies they paired it with made it that much better! I will never forget my experience here and I can't wait to visit again!

Had excellent service today by Lina! She went above and beyond and helped us make some great breakfast choices this morning! Thanks Lina!

Love coming here for breakfast. The buffet is always so good. It's not offered during the week so I ordered off the regular menu this time. I found it to be reasonably priced. Place is well maintained and staff are lovely.

Breakfast with my daughter

Went here for breakfast as it was the best option for a sit down restaurant in walking distance to our hotel. Service was pretty good. Food was mediocre. We ordered from the menu as opposed to the buffet they offer. My daughter got pancakes and added sausage as a side as it was not included. I got a breakfast burrito and coffee. While the food wasn't bad it wasn't great either and definitely did not warrant the $80 bill we paid. I know a lot of this is due to location but $80 for pancakes link sausages and a burrito is simply too much.

See that ketchup? It's delicious.

See that ketchup? You must take a few back home. It's not your usual ketchup and I've only seen it at Vida. It's a little runny but very tasty. Vida has a wonderful breakfast buffet. For kids under 12 it is $21 so if you have a preteen it's decent value. Adults are $42 so really pack up a few lunch items to go and it becomes worth it. Plenty of yummy goodies that make it a brunch really.

Salmon Avocado and Cucumber Roll

We stopped in for dinner at Vida which also serves Sushi. The weather was too cold to venture out of the hotel. To our surprise, Ceviche was delicious. The plantain chips were not greasy. We also ordered Salmon, Avocado and Cucumber roll. Then had grilled Salmon. Asked for medium and was cooked perfectly. The side dish ordered was roasted vegetables. We would come back. The service was good.

Warm Quinoa Salad with Chicken

Stopped by Vida with a friend for lunch after a Spa treatment. We were seated promptly and then told it's two restaurants in one. They serve American food as well as Japanese sushi and rolls. We started with a Chicken Quesadilla. It came out quickly and was good. We each ordered a roll. My spicy tuna roll tasted very fresh and flavorful. I also ordered the Warm Quinoa Salad with chicken. It was tasty as well. The service was simply OK. I guess that because the service charge is already included in the bill, there really is no need to go above and beyond in the service department. All in all, the restaurant was OK. The food was a bit pricey for what it was. I'll most likely try a different restaurant next time I go to the Spa.

Overall, The Social Club is worth visiting for the atmosphere, drinks, and people-watching, but I expected more from the food. I'd consider going back for the vibe, though I'd probably try something different from the menu next time.

We stopped in mid-afternoon for a late lunch and were greeted right away. The hostess offered patio or indoor seating and thoughtfully let us know there was active construction nearby that would make the patio pretty noisy the entire time. That honesty was appreciated, we chose to sit inside so we could actually enjoy conversation. The space itself is beautiful, quaint, colorful, and perfectly in tune with that relaxed Miami Beach, art deco vibe without feeling overwhelming. It instantly felt like a calm beachside escape. When our server came over, I asked about gluten-free options. The menu had an indication of gluten-free options available but he went a step further and explained they offer a gluten-free bagel-style bread substitute, which made navigating the menu so much easier. I ordered the avocado with poached eggs (served on the gluten-free bagel thin), and it was incredible. The eggs were cooked perfectly, yolk bursting just right, and topped with fresh arugula and herbs that made every bite flavorful and fresh. Presentation was just as beautiful as the taste. My coworker had the grilled cheese and fries and loved every bite as well. Food came out quickly, everything was delicious, and the experience felt easy and thoughtful from start to finish. Huge bonus: they serve brunch-style options all day until 4pm, which is perfect when you're traveling or craving breakfast at unconventional hours. Finding a spot like this in the heart of Miami Beach on a Wednesday afternoon felt like a win. We would absolutely come back!

The reviews that I read after my bad experience with this place confirms that while the food is good but overpriced the service sucks because the servers are getting the gratuity anyway. The management ( Marius) should seriously evaluate the attitude and customer service skills of their servers, or at least the one that served us ( Douglas) I asked him politely if it would be possible to add an egg yolk to my tuna tartare, and the server didn't even bother checking with the chef/ manager or at least making an effort to pretend to. The response felt dismissive and uninterested. The food for my party was good, but unfortunately the customer service completely ruined the experience. Happy hour clocks in at $12 for food, $12 for all house cocktails, $10 spritzes, and a flat $6 for all beer, which in Miami Beach feels almost suspicious in the best way possible. I kept it simple with an ice cold Peroni while my wife went for the Giardino 75, a gorgeous little spritz built on Empress Indigo Gin, St. Germain, mint, lime, and prosecco. She loved it. The color alone was worth the ten bucks, but it actually drank as good as it looked. For food we shared the Bolognese Grilled Cheese and let me tell you, this thing punches well above its $12 price tag. Thick cut brioche toast, griddled until the edges go deep golden brown, stacked over a rich slow simmered bolognese with cheese pulling through every bite. Dusted with parmesan and fresh herbs, plated with cherry tomato skewers that added a nice little pop of acidity. Comfort food dressed up for a night out. Service was attentive and easy, drinks came quick, plates came hot, and nobody made us feel rushed even sitting through happy hour. The room itself has that playful Sicilian energy with the Moor head planters and bright touches throughout, which fits the vibe of the menu perfectly. Would I make a special trip back to Miami Beach for it? Probably not from Fort Myers, but if you're already in the area during happy hour, this is one of the better values you'll find on the beach. Solid four stars. Good drinks, good food, great specials, and service that actually showed up.
