The vibe of this place looks like it would only be a good drinking place to watch sports games and get rowdy but it was a pleasant surprise. Customer service was mediocre the lady was making stuff up on the go instead of asking the cooks first. The mango fish that my family had was good but the fish tacos were bad flavor was not it . They have really good seafood. Usually start off with oysters and ceviche which are always a great choice. The ceviche has mango and octopus which makes it different than the rest. For this visit, I had the fried rice and chicken. We were swiftly served upon entering. Great atmosphere and it was nice and warm inside. It was a nice vibe. Food came out within a reasonable time, and it was delicious. However, service was a slight miss. Our waitress checked on us only once. Not sure what was up with that. A nice woman carrying a broom walked passed our table and noticed my friend's mug was empty, so she asked my friend if she wanted another cup of coffee. My friend said yes, and the woman brought her a fresh cup of coffee on the spot. My friend gave her a $5 tip for that. I also accidentally spilled my drink when we were done eating, and the same lady came over and cleaned the spill immediately. This is good service from someone that didn't originally serve us. The drinks were okay a little on the weak side unfortunately... first drink and tasted like mostly mixer so I asked for an extra shot..... the food was pretty good but the fajita was not that good though. I previously visited this restaurant about 6 years ago and forgot about it until I was craving shrimp cocktail. Stopped by on a Saturday evening and the parking lot was packed! We did eventually find parking and headed towards the entrance. There were so many people so that's always a good sign, fruitful business. There's an outside patio area which was packed. When we spoke to the hostess there was a wait for a party of two, but the bar area had no wait. We found two empty seats and were immediately greeted with a smile. Music is playing at the perfect level and we noticed a live band setting up. When we sat at the bar, we were given warm bread with butter and spicy pickled carrots. We ordered cóctel de camarón and another dish which I don't recall the name of, but almost sure it was salmon. We ordered a round of drinks as well. I'm not much of a drinker, but the watermelon margarita was good. The shrimp cocktail was delicious!!!! Fresh shrimp and the sauce was good. Our salmon dish was full of flavor. The sauce on the salmon is good, but can become overwhelming. Everything was excellent, from the service to the food and drinks. My husband and I now make it every other Saturday to sit at the bar and enjoy a round of drinks and their shrimp cocktail. read more

Food is ehhh nothing too special but filling either way. I'd say their drinks are their go to as they are pretty good. Overall staff is quick and ready but biggest issue that is a pro and con is their live music. It's nice but man you can't even hear or speak to whoevers at your table for the rest of the dinner. Like it's ok for a few songs but it does get exhausting. Would suggest rotating out live artist every other 3 songs or so just to give the audience a chance to at least talk. read more

My friend and I we go out to " Vida Marissco " thinking this was going to be a genuine good place to eat ! Nope this was an absolute waste of two lives and 116.54 for mediocre Mexican seafood . Should have listened to my gut. We walk in and get seated on the patio cause it was a bit loud so okay. The hostess seats us on the windiest spot on the patio. As well did not offer to put down the flaps to keeps the wind from us the whole time . You'll here about the flaps here soon again. Took about 5 minutes to just get two waters , but also guess what low and behold some brown little soggy something's were in the bottom of the water I caught my friend about to drink some of it and said "hold on " what is that ! Then when asked waitress to get a new one as she walked away made a finger to head as if she was annoyed with me and whispered something probably "pinche Weado" cause I'm white ! lol go figure , The margaritas were the best thing there no lie . The chili con queso was warm, not hot my friend said once again man "let's go there treating bad here "! There not giving us good service I said you let's give em one more chance as long as the entree is hot and good we're good . Mean while I'm looking the waitress in between to get some drinks and to put down the flaps ! I Couldn't find her of course no where to be seen I even stood to see if she was taking orders ! The foods arrived after a hot minute and were just digging in and ya know we been waiting so we actually start tasting the food . We were even looking for the waiters and waitress trying flag someone down to put down the flaps while we were eating cause the food was getting cold. The only time they stepped in is when they saw us covering it with our own napkins and and tray ! Like who's Working there that actually cares cause apparently they don't step in till they see the patrons taking action like come now people . and you can even see on camera we stopped eating. the shrimp didn't even have the scales peeled back at all !flavorless fajita beef flavorless fajita chicken flavorless it was grilled but no flavor! I'm not lying this was the worst by god flavorless Mexican food I've had . It's crazy cause everyone's hyped about this place and I go and I have the service and experience I get ! I should have listened to my friend and the people that have told me before that this establishment has something against certain kinds of white and black folk that aren't apart of there culture. I should have listened to every that warned me. ! I'm keeping my cool no I should have received better service than what I received considering I walked in as a first timer and this is the impression that Y'all reciprocate to people . The same owners as Los Cusco's owns Vida Marrisco and and word of mouth will spread like a wildfire through the plains and everyone will know how and who you conduct your business practices as and what y'all support and in your personal lives as well ! read more

Authentic environment and food! I only wish they had a better selection of draft beers to go along with it. For being a Mexican restaurant you would think they have a good selection of tequila but they only have the more popular bottles which leaves tequila connoisseurs feeling something is missing at the end of the visit. Came here for my friend's birthday dinner in a group of 6. I ordered suaracha tacos. Another guest at the end of my table ordered fish tacos. The server gave my plate by mistake to the other guest at the end of my table and nobody realized because the tacos look similar. The other guest had already began to eat the taco on the plate not realizing he had the wrong tacos. The server then came to give me fish tacos. I told him I ordered suaracha tacos and not fish tacos. The waitress came by this point and instead of bringing me the correct plate the waitress tells the other guest that it was his fault for eating the wrong plate. Then she proceeded to tell us the kitchen was too busy and she would not bring me the correct order because she said it wasn't her fault and she proceeds to swap his plate with mine because he had only eaten one taco!! Are you kidding me? Why would I want to eat a plate that was sitting in front of someone else for five minutes and that was eaten from? She should've realized the server needs to put the plates down accurately because guests can't tell the difference of similarly looking tacos. Who cares if the kitchen was busy. I needed the accurate plate. That was insane!! I never got my correct plate and nobody from my group threw a fit because it was my friend's birthday and we didn't want to argue and ruin her birthday. Come to find out the tip is already included in the bill for 15% so she had no worries about tips for herself even though she did not deserve anything. On top of all that the place was chaos and only three bathroom stalls were in the restroom which is hardly enough to accommodate a restaurant of this size. It was disgusting at best. There was a 20 minute wait to use the restroom. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

It's always pretty packed but my husband and I have been lucky to be seated pretty quickly the last few times we've gone. They have a great drink menu and definitely don't short you on the alcohol. Maybe I'm a light weight but one drink has me feeling very nice lol! One of my favorite dishes is the pollo del mar, which is chicken stuffed with shrimp on a bed of rice with a side of jicama. So good and filling for sure, sometimes me and my husband share this. Also they serve you a complimentary plate of bread and butter to start you off once you are seated, so watch out and don't get full on this.
