Thermostat near the bar. I can't imagine how hot the kitchen is!

I've been coming to Victory Brewing for over 20 years, so this is disappointing. This is the second time in a month I've been there with the AC not working--this time it was 86° inside. The staff were fantastic despite having to work in miserable conditions. They were friendly, attentive, and professional. Five stars for the staff, but management needs to fix this recurring problem. Employees and customers deserve better.

Our group stopped into this brewery after dinner on a Friday night and we had a great time! It was a fun experience being able to visit the original Victory location after trying their beer in bars and buying in stores. The brewery is huge and the bar area had a great atmosphere. There were multiple TVs showing live sports. They have a wide variety of draft beer on tap and everything that I tasted was excellent. Ordering a beer at the bar was very quick and the bartender let us try the beer before ordering a full pint. I recommend visiting this brewery if you're in the area and enjoy craft beer!

Really good. The apps were amazing - exactly what I was looking for. The fried pickles were crisp and delicious. Not soggy at all, as they often can be at places! The mozzarella cheese curds were another stand out. Perfectly fried and overall one of the best apps on the menu! The pumpkin espresso martini was definitely served in a strange glass for a martini, but I was a huge fan nonetheless.

bar area was very loud

Good selection of beers. The Golden Monkey at 9.5% is well worth the money and even non-beer drinkers like myself enjoyed it. Service was a little slow but they were super busy. It was a little loud, BUT it's a bar so that's expected. We didn't check the rooftop out because it was too hot but we may check it out in the fall. I know a lot of places are making the gender neutral bathrooms, but I didn't really like these bathrooms and the way the sinks were set up. I didn't really appreciate fixing my face and then a guy coming out of a stall still zipping up his fly and then making eye contact with me as he was washing his hands because of the round sink layout. That may just be me, but something I noted.

My 14" (7"radius) NOT 16" (8" radius) pie.

We hadn't been back for a while and decided to come in Saturday for a late lunch. The place was filled with quite a few families. We asked for a table near the windows(they were all open). Of course we got the table closest to the beer display and 1/2 a window. We started with the pretzel which was good but expected more from the cheese sauce and mustard which were a bit flat. A couple of us shared the large hot honey pizza which was a decent pie. However, no way was this a 16" pie. I took some home and clearly the radius of the pie was 7" or a 14" pie. Do some Middle school math and this one inch difference means the pie is only 25% smaller than you expect. Server was clearly wishing she was anywhere else. Not an experience that would make me return.

I've been a fan of Victory IPA for quite a while. Planning a trip to Downingtown this past weekend, I found through Yelp that the Victory Brewery was right in town. My wife and stepson joined me in grabbing a beer and appetizers. This brewery is large with plenty of seating. We sat at the bar which was very nice. I had the Brotherly Love Hazy IPA which was perfect on this hot July afternoon. We shared apps of Loaded Fries and the Bavarian Pretzel. It was a lot of fun enjoying the food in this fun atmosphere. Our servers were also great about giving us sample of the different beers. If you like visiting new breweries, I definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area.

He vouched for her Old Fashioned which just happened to be what I had planned to order. The Old Fashioned was good. She made it with Evan Williams Bourbon. It had a good blend so that it was not too sweet, too bitter or overpowered by the bourbon. My friend ordered Garlic Parmesan wings which he seemed to enjoy. We sat talking for a couple of hours and never felt rushed. The vibe at the bar was friendly as folks came in and out for drinks. I will go back and check out the restaurant next time.

For anyone looking for a quick bite it will satisfy but if you wanted something with a bit higher caliber it will miss the mark.

From the outside you can't tell that it has a fun tropical/tiki vibe going on. Maybe it was just for summer, but it was really fun! The servers and bartenders were all in tropical shirts, and there were other tiki touches without going full-blown Tiki Bar. The bathrooms were interesting. All the stalls are unisex, single stall, and then the sink is a big trough outside all the stalls. Unconventional, but it works. We both ordered beers - we had the Summer Love and the Philly First. Both were really good! We shared them so we could both enjoy some of each. To eat, my husband ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fries, and I had the spicy Buddha bowl. Chicken Caesar wrap was good (hard to screw that up), and we both thought the fries were pretty good. Not the best I've ever had or anything, but good, enjoyable fries. The Buddha bowl, however, was outstanding! Cilantro rice, edamame, carrots, red cabbage, broccolini, and I added chicken for protein. It was the perfect level of spice, and a really nice balance of veggies to rice to protein. 10/10, would order again! I'm probably going to end up trying to recreate it at home. The only note I have for it (and it's super minor) is that it could maybe have a sweet or tart note added. Mandarin oranges, mango, pineapple... something like that. I would absolutely recommend stopping here! Next time we're in town I will go out of my way to go again.

Pottstown United came highly recommended by some co-workers so on Friday 6/07 my wife and I jumped on the Harley to take a ride. First impression was "WOW!" walking in the door...super clean and a bit of an industrial look but yet very much modern. We were greeted by our server "Cheyenne" with a huge smile and a bubbly personality. We could tell immediately that this was someone who really enjoyed their job! We ordered the Brussels for an app (which were "okay"- good taste but a little soft) and the pub burger and pulled pork sandwich. We cut them in half and shared with each other. I must say...hands down....best flavor we've ever had in each!! Super, super fresh. Even though we were full, we were yearning for more. The flight of beer I tried was amazing. I wish I could remember the names of all of them....but some of the very best IPA's I've ever had...no dry mouth or hoppy aftertaste in any of them, including one with a 9% APV!! Our server Cheyenne checked on us often (without being overbearing) and was always smiling and suggesting other things for us to try....she was totally awesome and we can't wait to go back again. P.U.B. will most definitely be on our "Friday dinner rotation" list. Very well done!!!

Our one friend brews beer and her opinion counts more than anyone's! She was enjoying some selections. The general consensus was that the Oktoberfest beer was one of the favorites. She acknowledged us and I appreciated that. We were well taken care of once she visited our table. We didn't eat food but the menu sure looked good! I saw the dessert selection and it was tempting but we had already had lunch elsewhere. They have a menu that changes seasonally and daily changing specials. Some items are "staples". The restaurant is clean, hip and welcoming. It's small enough to be intimate & the space is well appointed. I love the bathrooms too! Clean and spacious. I wish the owners much success and I hope to be back in the future to try the menu. If you enjoy craft beers you owe it to yourself to stop by and give it a try.

An easy choice for a laid back afternoon in King of Prussia. We stopped into Workhorse Brewing Company for a Saturday lunch and walked away genuinely impressed. The space itself is massive and well laid out, making it ideal for groups while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Even better, it is kid friendly, which makes it a great option when you want a brewery vibe without excluding the whole family. The drink program really shines here. The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Everything we tried was tasty, but their take on the traditional Philly cheesesteak stood out and is absolutely worth ordering. Though a slight miss for the buffalo chicken cheeseteak, as it was dry and under seasoned. Overall, Workhorse is a great place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing a group or even showing up with kids in tow, it delivers on drinks, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
