Our group stopped into this brewery after dinner on a Friday night and we had a great time! It was a fun experience being able to visit the original Victory location after trying their beer in bars and buying in stores. The brewery is huge and the bar area had a great atmosphere. There were multiple TVs showing live sports. They have a wide variety of draft beer on tap and everything that I tasted was excellent. Ordering a beer at the bar was very quick and the bartender let us try the beer before ordering a full pint. I recommend visiting this brewery if you're in the area and enjoy craft beer! read more

Really good. The apps were amazing - exactly what I was looking for. The fried pickles were crisp and delicious. Not soggy at all, as they often can be at places! Good selection of beers. The Golden Monkey at 9.5% is well worth the money and even non-beer drinkers like myself enjoyed it. Service was a little slow but they were super busy. It was a little loud, BUT it's a bar so that's expected. We didn't check the rooftop out because it was too hot but we may check it out in the fall. I know a lot of places are making the gender neutral bathrooms, but I didn't really like these bathrooms and the way the sinks were set up. I didn't really appreciate fixing my face and then a guy coming out of a stall still zipping up his fly and then making eye contact with me as he was washing his hands because of the round sink layout. We hadn't been back for a while and decided to come in Saturday for a late lunch. The place was filled with quite a few families. We asked for a table near the windows(they were all open). Of course we got the table closest to the beer display and 1/2 a window. We started with the pretzel which was good but expected more from the cheese sauce and mustard which were a bit flat. A couple of us shared the large hot honey pizza which was a decent pie. However, no way was this a 16" pie. I took some home and clearly the radius of the pie was 7" or a 14" pie. Do some Middle school math and this one inch difference means the pie is only 25% smaller than you expect. Server was clearly wishing she was anywhere else. I've been a fan of Victory IPA for quite a while. Planning a trip to Downingtown this past weekend, I found through Yelp that the Victory Brewery was right in town. My wife and stepson joined me in grabbing a beer and appetizers. This brewery is large with plenty of seating. We sat at the bar which was very nice. I had the Brotherly Love Hazy IPA which was perfect on this hot July afternoon. We shared apps of Loaded Fries and the Bavarian Pretzel. It was a lot of fun enjoying the food in this fun atmosphere. Our servers were also great about giving us sample of the different beers. If you like visiting new breweries, I definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area. read more

I like the beer-hall, semi-industrial vibe. I've always enjoyed Victory beers and it's great to see the extensive options available. The service was so-so; the goth greeter was sad, which isn't a great look when you enter the restaurant. Our waiter was stoic but efficient. I wouldn't come for the food alone. It's pretty average bar food. I had a cheesesteak that tasted good. My wife had a chicken sandwich that she described as tasteless.other dishes at the table were crab dip and a burger ; described as "ok." For over 10 years I have enjoyed the great fresh beers and fantastic food options Victory offers. Living in Atlanta we find a few Victory beers in the Liquor stores but not on tap. Victory is a classic. Their beer is everywhere in PA, so it's always a treat to visit the source. Their beer list is never lacking - something for everyone with a mix of IPAs (HopDevil), Belgian styles (Gold Monkey), Stouts (Storm King), and everything in between, including sodas and Southern Tier liquors. They have a vast bar, nightly drink/ food specials, the occasional trivia night, and lots of TVs, if sports are your thing. The footprint of this space is massive and open, meaning sometimes the acoustics are bad, and it can get a bit loud. That said, whether you're with friends, family (kiddos included!), solo or on date, Victory is worth a stop. Their parking lot is huge, too. They have a good selection of fun merch and to-go. The thing is, I've never been WOWed by their food. Wings, pizzas, sandwiches - their food menu is not huge (which I appreciate) and they have a good bit of variety (which I also appreciate), but it's just not...memorable? I've eaten here a few times, and I can't really tell you what we ate. We come more for the beer and the vibes, and in that realm, we never leave disappointed. read more

I've never been to Victory Brewing Company before (Since I am not much of a beer drinker), and I was told they have some pretty good food. There's a nice area on the left for people to buy beers to go, as well as any merchandise for anyone interested. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. There's also a bar area, and a private area. Everything's clean and organized. In addition, I was also told they offer brewery tours for anyone interested. -Service- Hostesses are friendly. Our 1st waiter was only there long enough to provide us with drinks, as well as some light beer samples for me to try due to a shift change, I assume. (I love this, especially for someone who doesn't drink beer and wants to try different varieties.) Our replacement waitress is friendly and accommodating. -Food- What we ordered: -Fried Mozzarella Cheese Curds (Very good, I normally do not like Mozzarella sticks because of the texture. But these bite size Cheese Curds are perfect, light, airy and flavorful) -Classic Fried Pickles (Not a huge fan of this one. Way too salty) -DirtWolf BBQ Pizza (Good) -Boneless Korean BBQ Wings (Very good) -Classic buffalo Breaded Wings (Very good) -Fish and Chips (Very good, one of the best Fish and Chips I've had.) It is nicely breaded and doesn't fall apart like some of the other Fish and Chips I've had. The only thing I did not like about it was the Chips (Fries). I was not aware it came with Cajun fries. But their regular fries are just perfect, crispy on the outside and soft inside. In conclusion: I would definitely go again. If not for beer, at least for the good food. read more

Came to Victory on a quiet Saturday afternoon! Food was great and restaurant was clean but our server Maxwell was odd. He would stare off while we were talking and ordering. He would also reached over our heads to grab food and check almost hitting me in the head! He never came to ask if the food was good or if we needed more drinks! So impressed with the food for a brewery! Came here after some shopping in the area with a friend and we both really enjoyed our entrées! We shared the soft pretzel as a starter and forgot to take a picture because we were so hungry and it looked so good we dug right in! VICTORY used to have good creative brewing with ales like Rum Monkey and Java Cask Gold, now it is the same hum drum list of beers. The food is okay but it is not so good that it means I will go there when I know none of the beers are any different than what I can buy at Acme or Giant. I wish Weyerbacher had a brewery in the W Chester area, they at elast have some creative ales in addition to the boring lagers , pilsners and the like. It has been over two years since I have been to Victory in Downingtown. I do not anticipate a return any time soon. read more
