I've been here a couple times, now, so I think it's fair to write a review. The service, as far as I've got, has been decent. The guys bring you your food, they make sure everything is good. They're really only busy around lunch (Actually, I think they're only open for lunch?) so they don't have a ton of time to devote to each customer. The food, however, is awesome. I've tried gyros, falafel, chicken, salads... the list goes on. Nothing at this restaurant has disappointed. The downside is the fact that it's a pricier joint, but for an occasional Greek-flavored treat, this place is where it's at. read more

For the amount and quality of food that you get here, it's really well-worth the price. I got the gyros with french fries and I was more than satisfied with my meal. The meat was just the right texture and was very flavorful, and there were, and comes with a yummy tzatziki sauce. There were a lot of other legit delicious-looking items on the menu, and I'd look forward to trying them out. I get hungry just thinking about the large pictures of food that I saw located behind the cashier. If you bring in your punch card ten times then you can also get a special offer though I forgot what you get. read more

Located conveniently around the corner from work, Victors is one of our favorite to go spots for lunch. They have great food, especially their meats. Our favorites are their philly cheese spicy gyro and their chicken salad. The price and portions are great too. Easily one of the better spots in the area for lunch or dinner. Seating can be a little hard during the rush hour but there is also seating outside that all the restaurants share. Nothing better than a good meal in a warm sunny day! read more

OMG!! I was looking for something good for lunch and found something GREAT! The menu is right on the money and the food really delivers that taste of Greece I was looking for. Stumbled across by accident as i had been told the BBQ place around the corner was money, but had to stop and check out Victors menu as I was walking by. I walked in the door and saw what they were plating and just had to try it!! I am SO GLAD I did!!!! WOW! I've only been here twice...the gyros salad was tasty and can't remember what I had the previous time, but I liked it enough to want to come back. Atmosphere is so-so but this is primarily a take-out place so that's OK. The guys that work there are nice and prices are reasonable. Definitely a go-to Greek place for me. read more

These guys are good at their craft. Everything I've tried has been damn good. Try the shrimp salad. It's got the right amount of char flavor and the shrimp is meaty. This place also has great customer service. I highly respect anyone that takes their job seriously and does it well. 10/10 will come back. read more

Because I haven't been to any other Mediterranean spot that has chicken as good as theirs. I always get the chicken salad and it NEVER disappoints! I hadn't gone to Victor's in about 5 years, then I went again a few weeks ago and the chicken salad is still amazing!! I even tried a new Mediterranean spot today by my house that has 5 stars on Yelp, but their chicken salad was not anything like Victor's. The customer service is awesome! It was very easy to order for a birthday lunch we had at work for our supervisor too! We got a good amount for food for about 10 of us for around $80! read more

This place has very delicious gyros. Not super greasy and packed with flavors. The Greek salads are very fresh and there is a lot of food for the money. Their Turkish coffee is excellent, very strong and not overly sweet. The seating is a bit limited. read more

Had a pepper Gyro and hubby had gyro salad. All was wonderful and will definitely return. Want to try the vege plate. Their Turkish coffee was awesome! Noms! This restaurant is a two minute walk from work, so it's easy to get here for a quick, delicious lunch. Their chicken pita is wonderful and their salad dressing is good enough to drink (yeah -- I'd drink salad dressing). I love Victor's Kafe! I work in Poway, CA and there are not a lot of good, family style lunch places to go to. This place is awesome! Has a great selection of Greek dishes, the staff always has a smile for you as you walk in and they are always quick without you feeling like your eating fast food. When I was working day shift I ate here at least every week. Go for the salad which has lamb and chicken. Guys that work here are super chill and the food here is pretty delicious. They used to do a "frequent eater" card program, not sure if it is still going on. Typical greek food prices about $7-$10 but definitely worth it. Lost 1 star because it takes forever to get food here. If you have a 30 minute lunch I promise you'll be late back to the office. Do yourself a favor and make sure to call in the meal first to make your life easier. read more

Aside from the fact that their food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, they have some of the BEST customer service for such small take-out business. Here's an example, recently I ordered a delivery for my place of business across the street. I ordered a spicy gyro Salad (The BEST). When my order was delivered the employee quickly realized that the order was wrong as he had a spicy chicken salad. He offered to run across the street to exchange it for the right order but I declined as all of their food is delicious so instead he offered me a discount on my next order. The following day I walked across the street for lunch and saw him returning from a delivery. He called me by name, remembered my situation, and escorted me in. There was quite a line when we walked in but he called my order out and had my food and discount ready by the time I got to the front of the line! Talk about service! I am a customer service supervisor and have to say I was quite impressed! Viktor's is by far my favorite Greek place to get anything gyro! Each and every time I come here the employees recognize, greet me, and know my order! It's refreshing to come to an establishment where the staff knows your name..and order...and goes above and beyond to take care of their valued customers! read more

In all honesty for me, Viktors Kafe is hit or miss. I eat there for lunch only and the chicken wrap and the gyros were incredible. Yet at other times the grilled chicken over salad and the pulled rotisserie chicken wrap were ok. It wasn't that the food tasted bad, it was that flavor was lacking. Rice pilaf is sometimes good and sometimes too salty and starchy and the same can be said for the salad, sometimes fresh, sometimes wilted and a little brown. If anything I feel this place lacks consistency in freshness. Again, the food was never bad.....just not fresh. Service is friendly, efficient and quick. Their Greek food is AMAZING! Great taste, seasonings, it's fresh. They are right by the hotel across the street. I'm sure they get a lot of business from the hotel. We tried the Greek Salad, various entrees including kabob...but apparently they don't believe in air conditioning when it's high 90 to 100+ degree weather so we were baking along with the food. Here's an idea - if you want to have more dine-in customers instead of take-out...then maybe you should fix your A/C! That's why I'm giving you 4 Stars instead of 5! The restaurant and seating is pretty simple so it's not like a great place for first dates like some of the other Greek restaurants I've been to. However, if you have a shelter that is nicely air conditioned and you want to have excellent Greek food, then please order take-out from Victor's Kafe. read more

The food here I will admit is very very good. I go to both of the families restaurants in Rancho Bernardo and this one. I usually get the gyro sandwich when I go, and a Baklava that is homemade by Victors wife. The one plus to coming to the restaurants is you get to see victors sons, who are the ones that cook the food. His youngest and oldest son. His youngest son who usually works at night is what people might call a baby Christiano Renaldo, he is super cute and has a nice body. The one thing that I hate about the restaurants is that the boys are very mean. I have never been there when one of the brothers was not being rude to a customers and do not have any customer service. The restaurant there is either gossiping or fighting going on, and they are horrible with how long it takes them to make some of the food. I wish that I could say that coming to see the boys topped off the rest of the restaurant, but that is the only good thing about the restaurant. I might as well just save my time and watch them cook from the parking lot. read more

I ordered the Spicy Gyro sandwich combo (wasnt spicy at all), and the Chicken Shawarma sandwich. The fries were ok, kinda soggy. The sandwich was literally pita, meat, onion and two slices of tomatos. The greek salad that came with the combo had no kalamata olives. It was just lettuce, one slice of cucumber and onion. read more
