He was hired to remove rot (which was causing a leak in my downstairs) replace some siding on the upper portion of my house, and fix a gutter. This was around May 1st, and it's been two months, I gave him a deadline, and no response. He not only didn't do the work, he actually made things worse. He actually opened up the wall, exposing the lower portion of my home to even more water damage. He also spilled paint on my deck. The only work done was one of his workers stopped by to put three 6" siding (wood boards) on a wall with 3" siding (and one of the new boards was broken, and fell out). I've done countless remodels over 30 years, and know how much materials cost. He claimed to have purchased about $75 or less of materials, then marked them up to $450. He left, never to be heard from again. Police report is coming next. Then L&I about his license. I was wrong about Kolton Knox. I thought he was going to be a stand up guy. I've never been more wrong about someone. Photo #1 shows a portion of the wall that needed fixing. The black lined boards are original 3" inch.
