Mahshid had a last-minute opening, and I booked it because I needed an experienced corrective-color specialist. Mahshid's technical skill was clear from the beginning. She quickly identified what needed to be corrected and explained the plan in a way that made sense. She did a root melt, added lowlights, adjusted the tone, and cut my hair so everything blended naturally again. The difference was significant, and the final result looked intentional, full of dimension, and much healthier. Sophie supported the entire process by keeping everything organized, assisting hands-on, checking in with me regularly, and coordinating each step so the appointment ran smoothly. Her attention to detail made a longer service feel so manageable. Ella was also assisting and shadowing and she was so sweet and kind, besides being super gentle while combing and blow drying my hair. I'd also like to acknowledge Nia, who did my consultation the week before. She gave me an honest assessment and encouraged me to take the opening with Mahshid since her own next availability was farther out. That transparency helped me make the right decision. She told me what she would be doing and I closed my eyes and and thought happy thoughts as she massaged my head during the hair washing and then again, during the start of the hair cutting. She knew I was a little apprehensive so she kept me talking and seemed very genuine when she asked me questions about my kids, and life etc. As she worked she asked me what I thought and made sure that's what I wanted. Very sweet girl. When she was done I asked her to add a little volume to the top of my flat head and without hesitation she did that and once she was all done, I LOVED it! Very happy with Charlotte who by the way added me to her Monday schedule when it's super difficult to find someone! Also very happy with Jenn who was very prompt in returning my email. She also worked with my schedule because I work nights and I need the latest appointment available so I'm sure she had to coordinate with Charlotte. I have only been to a salon to get my hair bleached twice in my life. I know how to bleach my own hair. I went here because my mom goes here and recommended It. First off I scheduled an appmt over the phone for 3pm on a Tuesday. I show up. They go oh you don't have an appointment. Ok. They didn't offer to make it better. They didn't discount me or work me in. They just said come back tomorrow. Ok. Came back for a scheduled bleach and toner. I said I don't want gray or yellow/orange. I said I don't like silver or old lady white. I just want an ashy blonde that doesn't look yellow. Hannah bleached my hair. I told her it burned the entire time and she said that's normal. Ok. I had claustrophobia and she didn't care at all or offer to stop and rinse it out. I even asked can we skip my scalp and she just laughed. Ok Then came the toner. She put me off onto another person to do the toner because she'd double booked herself and that person was more important apparently. So she goes to cut and blow dry and shampoo other people while leaving me with an assistant. The toner came out yellow which is what I didn't want. So she tells her assistant to do it again. They do a different toner and it was burning so while she was washing someone else's hair I asked can someone come rinse this out? And she said ok. And she rinsed it out. Guess her assistant left. Then we go blow dry it. And I'm immediately shocked. To tears. It was like senior gray hair. Absolutely hated it. I looked like I was wearing a wig. Her solution - dawn dish soap. That's what she said to do. I don't even use dawn to wash dishes. I'm not putting it on my head. They charged me over $200 for something l said I didn't like cause it made me look like a senior. After THREE hours of an appointment I left crying in my car with a throbbing headache from the chemicals and my scalp feels burnt and my hair feels brittle as a crisp. The place reeks of formaldehyde and chemicals and there are no air purifiers or ventilation. I am posting what I asked for. The cut and color. And I'm posting what she did. My mom sees Tori and I've heard Tori does a good job. They should invest in air purifiers. I washed my hair out 7 times and got most of the gray out. Besides feeling like an unwanted client by how I was treated, I've heard other people have good experiences. Guess it's my luck. Hopefully you have a better experience.
