Dec 14, 2022 .... I left my skates to get sharpened at Play It Again Sports, Aurora location and…read morewas told it would be $10 a pair. I though that was a lot more then I paid in previous years so I called Canadian Tire also in Aurora (same plaza actually) and they said skate sharpening costs $ 4.39. I thought that the price difference being more then double warranted letting consumers know about their options. So much for Play It Again Sports value proposition. I asked the Kyle (the manager at the time of pick up if they could match the Canadian Tire price but he said no he could not). Definitely going to Canadian Tire from now on.

Knowledgeable staff! Nearly miraculous shoe find…read more I've been looking for a comfortable pair of shoes for over a year (maybe more). I have specialty orthotics and struggled wearing the wrong shoes with them which meant they added little comfort and I had no clue why. I usually take hours shopping for shoes and can't find something satisfactory. Bev, working there, asked me if I needed help and I gave her the rundown with the expectation that she wouldn't be much assistance as has been the case in every other store. Instead, she blew me away by finding the perfect pair of shoes I needed. The second I tried them on my jaw dropped due to the comfort. She explained to me exactly why my current shoes didn't help (they weren't built for orthotics at all!) I was out of there in 20 minutes. Anyway I'm very happy. They train their staff well and ensure that they are familiar with the kinds of product they sell (she explained to me that's how she knew so much). A very worthy store of your dollars.

What is really cool is the staff has been there for a long time and recognizes you when you go in. It is the perfect store for women 30+. Everything is colour coordinated, from the clothes to scarves to jewellery everything is presented boutique-style. They sell purses (guess) shoes, and a small area is dedicated to men's clothing. The store is located in a plaza on the east side of Yonge, so there is lots of parking. There is always specially priced clothes in racks outside the store. Trust me when I say you shouldn't pass it up. I have found many treasured pieces there. At the end of the season Cheryl the owner reduces her clothes by 50%. She sends out emails to her regular shoppers so you get first dibs on the sales. Staff are always friendly and you feel like you just want to go there and hang out. I highly recommend you check them out.
