This was printed on the receipt. Upon picking them up, this work was not complete in this manner, effectively ruining the look of the jean. The jeans had the store tags on, they cost $300, which is why after paying a premium price, I wanted to invested in this more costly process. A "regular" hem was used. The explanation given for the incorrect work was "we were busy". The bill was adjusted to reflect the cheaper workmanship, which looks cheaper than what was requested. These jeans are effectively ruined. At no point was there any attempt to offer a refund for the incorrect work (I still had to pay for the "regular" hem) let alone to cover the cost of the jeans. I have been using their cleaning and tailoring services for over 12 years (this location at Longo's and on Bayview at High Tech). I will never return or recommend this utterly unprofessional business again. Off now to post a Google Review and on all my social media accounts.

UPDATE: I brought a pair of worn and stained suede shoe for repair and he was able to make the color of my shoes all uniform and removed all the dark spots and stains. It's amazing! Very disappointing experience, especially with suede cleaning and alterations…read more I brought my pink Adidas suede shoes to Royal King Dry Cleaners for professional cleaning. Before cleaning, the suede was in good condition and the colour was even. After cleaning, the shoes came back faded and discoloured, with obvious pink/red streaks and marks that were not there before. I have photos showing the shoes before and immediately after the service, which I am attaching to this review. I complained and gave the business an opportunity to correct the problem. They kept the shoes and specifically told us to return on Tuesday. We came back as requested, but nothing had been fixed. I also brought pants for a seam repair. The repair was done by hand with an uneven seam. They agreed to redo it, but when we returned on the promised day, that had not been fixed either. We were then told to make yet another trip because the owner was not there. This is what frustrated me the most. Mistakes can happen, but customers should not repeatedly be asked to come back after being promised that the problems will be corrected, only to find that nothing was done. This was also not my first experience with poor organization here. On a previous occasion, I arrived during their posted business hours while their sign was outside, but nobody was there, and several phone calls went unanswered. On another occasion, an employee arrived late. During my latest visit, I also saw another customer's clothing left hanging over the customer side of the counter while the employee was dealing with us. That added to my concerns about how customers' belongings are handled. I have my receipt, Adidas proof of purchase, and before-and-after photos and video. At the time of writing this review, the dispute is still unresolved. I will update this review with the final outcome.

I brought a suit to get dry cleaned and 3 pairs of jeans to get altered, spoke to the owner who tagged and wrote up the bill. We both laughed at the ugly attempt my MIL did on hemming the 3 pairs of jeans, it was worse than grade school home ec . He knew to fix those horrible mismatched hem lines and replace ONE broken zipper, which he marks by cutting it mid length so whoever works on it can see it's clearly damaged and that's the one that needs a replacement. 3 days pass and I come back to pick up the order, to my surprise he ended up snipping the zipper on a perfect pair and left the broken one undone(still clearly cut and unzippable) Also didn't fix the hemming nightmare on two of three pairs of jeans.... WHAT just happened here!? This was very sloppy and hugely disappointed. And here he was, trying to get payment from me as I noticed all this. Lucky I did check this over before paying/leaving. He fussed excuses on the mistakes and finally in the end, he grudgingly agreed to pay for the wrong zipper fix ($7) and re-do (actually do this time) the three things missed and did not offer anything for the mistakes, hassle, frustration and delay. However, on normal weekdays, they seem a little bit more organized. For a tiny dry cleaning place, they're busier than most dry cleaners. I think this is because this is the closest dry cleaners in the area, so people just come here for the convenience. I haven't given them overly complicated things to dry clean, so I can't judge on wedding dresses or evening gowns, but for coats and shirts, you can't go wrong. Their prices are very affordable.

On arrival, we were able to change out our paper money for coins using the change machine. There are a lot of machines of various sizes so it was just to choose the best size for the job. There is clear instruction on the machine in how to use which was easy to follow. This was a relief. The place is clean and at the time of day when I went, 2:45 on a Monday, there was only a few people using the machines. There was no issue getting a machine. Prices to wash ranged from $4.25 to $15.00 for the huge machines. To dry is .25 per 4 mins. This we had to ask someone as there is no pricing posted. They also provide spray bottles with sanitizers and paper towels for cleaning. Would come back here if I need to use a laundromat again.

Its in a plaza that contains a dollarama, a yoga, studio, coffee time, and a bank. The room is long and narrow, there is a small bathroom on the end and a little utility sink. There are two change makers, a soap centre to buy soap and fabric softener sheets, a candy dispenser (25¢ for a hand full), and a pop machine. They have 31 washing machines (they are numbered) and about 20 dryers. The machines range from the kinds you find at home to big commercial triple load washers. The dryers are the big ones you would normally see at laundromats. The place is pretty clean and well maintained. I think it switched hands last year and the new owners came in and cleaned and repaired everything. Benches are at either end of the room and they have a few cameras. They open from 6am to 11 pm
