Awesome food. Always a crowd pleaser! Great southern hospitality and good home cooking. Servers are quick, dining area is clean! Food is delicious. Ate here about 5 years ago and just as delicious today! Clean plate club!

Food was great country cooking, very flavorful. It is worth the stop if you are in the area. Staff were friendly and social. I would stop again. If you come at lunch be prepared to stand in line - very busy - just a testament to the service and food!

If I could give 0 stars I would; placed an order online for asap pick up - go to pick up the order & was told we didn't put a time on the order to pick it. My husband walked in & was told all this - so I walk in & the first thing the manager says is Oh, you must be the wife. I said I'm just trying ti figure out if we've been charged. The manager Paul tells me to stops screaming, as I'm stating that it's my voice!!! The whole staff starts telling me to just leave. Real nice place. Will never go back!!!!

This review is to refresh my review of 5 years ago. Not much has changed since then and that's good. This place serves breakfast but I always come for lunch. The blue plate special for $7.99 (includes drink) served Sunday thru Friday is what you probably want. After paying at the counter you go down a short cafeteria line and pick from one of 3 daily meat offerings and then select 2 of the 4-5 vegetable options. You also get a dessert or a 3rd veggie if you wish. With a bread choice and a drink you have a full meal and it tastes soooo good! For the money you can't beat it and it is only offered during lunchtime. If for some reason that doesn't appeal to or you come on a Saturday or for dinner any day, I really like their Jumbo Burger combo with onion rings. The burger has a 1/3 lb. patty and is well dressed on a big bun. It is a solidly good tasting hamburger. The onion rings are some of the best I have eaten and cooked in a batter with a pepper slant that is delicious. They have a Super Jumbo burger with a 2/3 lb. patty too. I am a fan of this place. You will be too.

While on a road trip to New Orleans my family passed this place. I wanted something different than regular fast food places off the highway. I ordered the seafood feast which consisted of fried shrimp and fries. I wish I ordered grilled shrimp. I was not impressed by the at all. My son ordered the tater tots which were actually good. My order took a long time for a fast food restaurant which 1 order ahead of me. This is not be a restaurant I will try again.

It is only open for lunch from 11-2pm Tuesday through Saturday. We made sure we got in line a few minutes before 11am. Yes a line, so get there early. The doors opened right at 11am and you order from the counter and have a seat. The staff is welcoming and assist with the line and seating to have everything move smoothly. The prices were not bad at all and we got alot of food. The fried chicken is out of this world. A must get. You won't regret it. It is so flavorful with crispy skin, yet moist chicken. Also, it is not super greasy which was my favorite part. I enjoyed the green beans and corn on the cob. The jalapeño corn bread was amazing! My mom got the black eyed peas, mac n cheese, and regular cornbread with her fried chicken. She raved about the black eyes peas. We also ordered banana pudding and Mrs. Pearl's Cheesecake. The banana pudding was my favorite and a great sweet treat to round out my southern meal. The inside of the diner is not very large but does have plenty of seating inside and some outside. While we did not see Mrs. Pearl, her sister greeted us and was definitely running the diner while we were there.

This seems like a nice spot that offers daily specials along with a set menu of options. They have a gift store in the front when you first walk inside and then the restaurant is to your left. They have a buffet of the daily specials you can choose from or you can order off the paper menu or their chalkboard menu. This seems to be quite a popular spot in the area and around lunch time it can certainly get a bit crowded from what I observed but they seem to have more than enough tables for everybody. There is a playground area for children along with an outdoor patio next to the playground for parents to keep an eye on the kids. Overall this seems like a nice spot in the area and they have a decent selection of items on their menu along with a rotating selection of daily specials along with some great items they throw out as a nice surprise randomly. I ordered their Jumbo Cheeseburger, which is two very thick patties of beef which made it a really HUGE burger. I would have been quite happy with just their regular burger with one beef patty as I wasn't expecting the beef patties to be as thick as they were and I had no idea the "jumbo" came with two patties as there wasn't much explanation of that on the menu. So I really had quite a challange getting my first bite out of this jumbo sized burger as it was so huge my jaws could barely clamp down on an edge to make a dent in this monster. I also had some trouble with my bun not withstanding all of the ingredients stuffed inside of it (onions, lettuce, tomatoes) so there were some structural failures on the bottom part of the toasted bun that cracked it in half so I had to do some rebuilding to get the burger back together again. Well much like Humpty Dumpty I wasn't able to keep the bottom part of the bun together for long but somehow I still managed to polish off the burger without too much of a mess all things considered. Now onto the fries, which seemed to be the typical crinkle cut type found in most grocery store frozen food sections, now the texture of the fries seemed a bit less crisp on the outside than I prefer and I detected not a hint of seasoning so I doused those fries with a healthy shaking of salt! Overall I enjoyed my meal and the only things they could have done better would have been to have provided a better description of the "Jumbo Cheeseburger" so I would have known what a monster it was and then they only had mustard in packets. So I'm just not a fan of restaurants having a big huge container of ketchup but then only offering tiny little teeny dainty packets of mustard! I know the majority of Americans mostly eat that disgusting Ketchup stuff but there are still a sizable number of us that are 100% on team mustard which is most certainly the superior condiment with a far longer history and distinguished existence with humanity. So if they could just give equal representation to the mustard condiment and a bit better explanation of their food items I think everything would be ship shape from my perspective. If you decide to choose the Jumbo Burger don't plan on eating anything else that day or maybe for a couple of days as it is HUGE!!!

Buffalo Wild Wings does have some nice deals where you can earn points for future purchases and they also have a military discount program along with offering free food for vets on Veteran's Day. I've never been a fan of chicken wings but the sliced up chicken tenders they serve here that they call boneless wings are actually pretty nice and their burgers are also quite tasty. They do fry things in tallow here which I'm a big fan of as it really adds more flavor along with being healthier for you. They also have weekly specials such as 2 for 1 along with all sorts of changing deals. So far I've only been to THREE locations of Buffalo Wild Wings with my very first being in Foley, AL, the second being in Hattiesburg, MS and the third being this location in Laurel, MS. Unfortunately, I have to say this location is definitely falling into third place so far based on my experience of the food and service. Everything is really slow here from putting your food order in to getting a beer. The other locations of this chain I've visited seem to do things SUPER fast... like nearly impossibly fast which leads me to guess that they already have a lot of food already cooked and ready to go. This location seems to rarely get as crowded as the locations in Foley and Hattiesburg so due to that observation I'm guessing they can't have as much food already cooked and ready to go as the far more busy locations I've visited. The continuing issue I've had at other Buffalo Wild Wings locations also exists here in that they only have mustard in packets and no mustard in a squeeze bottle which seems ridiculous in a place that is founded on having a gazillion versions of sauce! They really need to add a huge new selection of mustard sauce options such a spicy creole mustard, a tangy German mustard, French Dijon mustard etc. etc. There are so many versions of mustard across the world that it just seems negligent of BWW to not have more mustard and mustard sauce options. They literally serve pretzel knots at BWW which are begging for a German mustard! I've sent messages and emails to BFF corporate inquiring about the mustard issue but have never gotten a response...
