first off i will like to say this bakery needs some improvements. i made a online order at 557am when i arrived at the store at 610 my order was not found they looking clueless once i gave them my name and phone to show my order i placed. after a couple of checks they finally found my order. however they had to make my guava pastries 20 in which i had to wait along time making me late for work read more

Ended up leaving after 20 minutes before ordering because the employees were too slow...a couple other people left early too. It sucks because i wanted to eat there but there was still another 20 minutes before i could order and i dont have that kind of time to wait in line. read more

Worst service! Ladies stand around and talk to each other instead of attending customers. On top of that, they are so slow.

I've been coming here with my family since I was a child and they get it ! I mean.. everything is delicious and well priced! Odalis is always the one to help us and her service is superb! read more

Look: You cannot go through Hialeah without making a stop at Vicky Bakery. It's just plain ol' uncivilized! Like Linda N., I've been a Vicky customer since childhood. The recipes have not changed one bit and I love Vicky for that! It lets you know that any time of the day on any day that they are open, you will get EXACTLY the flavor you are craving from whatever it is you order. There are no bad days with Vicky. Only good days and only good food! Sensory overload for your eyes upon walking into the store. There are fake cakes and pinatas all over the place. (I think some of the displays have been there as long as I've been alive but that's okay!) Rows and rows of pastries and croquettas and sandwiches and cakes and pies and.......everything savory, sweet and calorieiscious lay safely enclosed in glass cases. Just take a number and start expanding your list of "I wants" as you anxiously wait to be called. All of the treats are cheap. If you go in there with $5, you'll come out with at least 8 different items and probably change leftover. One of my favorite things to do in Vicky is explain exactly what I want in my best Spanglish (which es muy mal) because the ladies rarely speak English. But it's Hialeah so you just roll with it. At the end of the day, points get across and I walk out with my white box of treats that will be lucky if they make it to a destination without being devoured in the car! I love Vicky and I'm convinced that if anyone goes there, they will love Vicky too. read more

This is the only bakery that I go to for my delicious Cuban pastries. They're cheap, delicious and there is SO much to choose from. They have everything from croquettas to new york style cheesecake. One thing I always get is the meat patty bandeja; only 6 bucks and comes with a good amount of bite sized meat patties. It's perfect for a small get-together. The only downside to this place is their customer service. Unless you hunt them down, they won't even notice you're in the store with them. read more

Food is delicious. But the customer service really sucks. If you are stopping there on your way to work, make sure that you have plenty of time, otherwise you will be late for sure... read more

My favorite Cuban bakery in Hialeah. Perhaps all of Florida period. Everything is delicious and fresh...and cheap, so you can get lots of stuff :) The pastelitos are divine - love love love the guava and cheese ones. Also am a big fan of the croquettas and empanadas. The loaves of Cuban bread are enormous. The brazos gitanos are just like my abuela used to make. I could go on and on but there is seriously nothing here that isn't delicious including the cafe and batidos. If you haven't been here yet, you are really missing out. Delicioso! read more

Love The Place. Great cuban pastries, and all the essentials. I would have given 5 stars but they are not that quick at all. Waited over 20 minutes to place order. Lack of staff and slow. Only problem. Dont expect to be in and out.. Other than that its good. Grew up going to this place for over 30yrs..... read more

Delicious!!! Fast and friendly service. You don't have to go thru the usual bakery fiasco bc there's numbers, so everyone knows who's next and there's no skipping. The pastelitos and the croquetas are always fresh! read more

Ordered a toy story cake for my sons birthday. On the outside the cake was beautiful but when it came time to cut it we realized there was cardboard on the top of the cake which we weren't aware of. We were told it was all vanilla cake and whatever toys were on it. The baker did not mention to us there would be cardboard in it!!... The cardboard was covered which frosting and some decorations. We cut a slice and the cake tasted like pure butter and was very very dry. read more

Great pastries! And definitely a great staff. Odalys went above and beyond to cater to my needs. I could not thank her enough for proving the customer service and attention to my request. I walked into the bakery a little after 7pm on Thursday ready to order Pan De Bono however, the bakery did not have any available. To my surprise Odalys offered to turn on the oven and make a fresh batch for me so that I could take them to my son who lives in Iowa. I am grateful for her dedicated and professionalism. Thank you ODALYS! read more

Ordered a variety of pastelitos and all very good. It can be very busy but you can take a number when you walk in. Since they have a lot of traffic you know that everything is fresh. I recommend that you get a platter of pastelitos. Your dollar goes a long way here. read more

Service was meh. Love their mini quesitos and the guava pastelitos and it's a must when we come into town. My mother in law is the one whom usually buys it beforehand when we come into town. Vicky Bakery's pasteliots are all scratch made. I can taste the finest ingredients and freshness. Their guava filling is bursting with flavor, their croquetas are generous sizes and fresh made, their bread is the best, and their empanadas are flaky and stuffed with goodness! Prices are very reasonable, and the service is outstanding- quick and super friendly. Vicky Bakery is a family owned business as well, and they've consistently given back to our community. I love Vicky Bakery! read more

Well decorated custom birthday cake. Pretty on the outside, pretty bad on the inside. Buttercream icing was disgustingly sweet, vanilla cake was a dry sponge cake. Filling was bland. Cake was not ready to pick up at scheduled time, I lost 30 minutes waiting while they looked for my order. Cakes are usually devoured at parties, this one was only 1/3 eaten - I had to throw it out! read more

We are frustrated and hungry. They got through the line ahead of us pretty fast considering, but about a half hour to wait, box up, and wait to pay we still have no food. The swipe wouldn't read any of our four debit or credit cards. No other register to try? Only hand write to process? In this day and age can't process with a chip card? Please look into this or have an atm to get cash for customers. read more

I was very disappointed with the cupcakes I had ordered for my quinceañera. Not only were they very difficult to work with and didn't understand my vision which was nothing complicated but the cupcakes arrived dry, hard, and overall I was displeased. Either way I had no choice but to try to make the best of what I had but even then I couldn't even put sprinkles on them because of how hard everything got. Now I understand that this could ultimately be my doing but when I received the cakes they were just as described. Therefore I tried one cake and immediately panicked not only because it was my quince but I was remotely disappointed with the result I had paid for. read more

I have ordered from this vicky bakery 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I always order the same thing and everytime i order, they fail to include a scrambled egg croissant sandwich or they actually fidget to add the eggs to the sandwich. I've called to tell them and it's as if they dont care. They wont even bother to try and re-deliver it. This place has terrible customer service and the staff does not care. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I'm done with this place. Staff is rude and they obviously cant inspect the order before sending it out. Stay away from this place especially if your going to order from grubhub. read more

They charge higher than other Vicky Bakery location. Croquetas preparadas where cold inside, watery orange juice...... just avoid this location. read more

The best place to get pastries ever!!! you will not be disappointed. There is a lot to choose from there, and its all at a very affordable price. The only downside is that it may get packed in the morning, but overall its a place that I think everyone should give a try. :) read more

Don't waste your time here. Worst service in HIALEAH. Owners should sell the number dispenser and save money as the staff only serves friends and family. Counter staff is to busy gossiping to serve customers. Many other great Cuban bakeries close by. Avoid. read more

I stopped here this morning on my way to work to grab some empandias so I walk in grab a number and wait for my number to be called and mind you there is only two other people that was in there with me and they was getting there order, in comes theses two ladies that walk straight to the counter and start to order and the lady behind the counter starts to take there order, so I say excuse me I was here first and you didn't pull a number in next. The lady behind the counter ask me does it matter who is next?! Me with my slick mouth said yes it does matter thats why you have to pull a number. So she says well can I take there order right quick I said no and the only reason I was like that was because the ladies was acting like they didn't understand what was going on and they was still trying to order like they was gon just Debo me so thats why I stood ten toes down ya dig. So it took the old papi to get the situation straight he told them grab a number and im next. Some folks just try to run game and they picked the wrong dude this morning and the worker didn't make it no better so bad service and bad customers can turn you off from some places. read more

I work in Hialeah and we had some VIGs (Very Important Guests) in the office last Friday morning. I decided to try and order from Vicky's on my own account; I had no idea how wonderfully delicious the food was going to be! Holy moly, the cafe con leche was phenomenal! I'm a coffee freak! Got to have my coffee in the morning kinda person. The mini tray of combination pastelitos & pastries were a knockout! Thank goodness we were a skeleton crew on Friday or that tray wouldn't be enough for the whole office. It was gobbled right up before I even turned around to head back to my desk! Thanks Vicky Bakery for helping us make a good impression! :-) read more

Great Cuban bakery! They have authentic Cuban baked goods for cheap (especially if you buy the huge trays of baked goods/savory items or the combinations: check out their website for the tray pricing) that actually taste pretty good. They have a very wide selection of different types of pastries and of warm foods/savory items if you need catering or even if you just want a sandwich. My absolute favorite items are the ham croquettes and their cream cheese and guava pastries (they are so good!). Overall, I highly recommend! read more

I live in NE Florida but I often visit Miami. Let me just say, Vicky's bakery in Hialeah is the highlight of my time in Miami. I have been to other Vicky locations but this one by far is the best. There's just something about this place. I find that all of the other Vicky's I've been too do not put enough filling in their pastries. You can tell this place really takes their time in making their pastries perfect. The only negative thing about this location is the staff who I guess don't know how to provide exceptional customer service. But hey, their pastries are so damn good that I could care less about how slow the staff moves. :) read more

The worst bakery service I've ever seen, only two people taking orders in the middle of the day. 30 minutes wait for two pastries.

This is my favorite bakery everything there is excellent in my opinion cuban bakeries are the best.

The pastries are delicious but the service is awful! At first I thought it was because I do not speak Spanish but, then I witnessed it was across the board bad service. I had to go up to a group of 6 women standing around gossiping and ask for service! One women replied of course and the other 5 stared at me like I had 5 heads! The one woman that assisted us was friendly enough but seemed to be the only one working! The rest just stood around ignoring every customer who would walk in. There was a gentleman in there asking where is wedding cake was that was supposed to be delivered at 2:00 and it was 2:30. I don't believe they had any intention on delivering the poor mans wedding cake! My suggestion would be to send one of the 5 other women doing NOTHING to deliver the cake! read more

Now don't get me wrong I love this place and it's pastelitos especially, but if you have a good 30 minutes to kill, go to this location specifically. I walked in, got my number and waited, and then two other men walked In. The lady in the front passes me about five times, but did not even acknowledge my presence, but says "Buenos Dias" to the two men who had come in after me. She also proceeded to serve them first. That is completely unacceptable. As she is finishing with the men, they also notice that I had been waiting there, unattended, and they apologized on behalf of the lady not serving me. They bluntly called her out for it right in front of her and I and she didn't even apologize to me. It was after she was embarrassed that she took my order. I completely hate this location for that specific reason. I love their pastelitos, but the customer service is horrible. read more

This place is great. Fresh orange juice, fresh pastries, fresh everything. I guess the only thing I don't like is the line. Come in take a number, like a barber shop :( although that is not enough to lower my scores for the star ratings it's bothersome. But everyone is very pleasant and the cafe con leche is awesome, ask for it just ask they make it "clarito". Sweet and creamy just he it should be. read more
