Food is fresh and delicious. GIGI made a perfect ice coffee for this hot summer weather. The pastelitos are always ready to grab and go. Overall the service was great. The only thing I didn't like was the location is hidden. Its not accessible to park and or drop off.

Cafe con Leche, no sugar

Vicky's has the best Cafe con Leche in town. The croquetas and sandwiches are excellent as well. This is a great place to come for breakfast and lunch. We like to have them cater as well. They have tons of desserts and pastries. The service is always friendly though can be slow when a little busy. The ambiance is bright and cozy.

Good prices

I was excited to hear about this place opening! I got a *little* lost trying to find this place on foot with google maps. Definitely user error...it's right before the bridge heading South on Andrews Ave. Look behind the palm trees! I had the pumpkin & queso pastellito. YUM. It reminded me of pumpkin pie, and combined with the cold A/C in the store, might be the closest to Fall I can get in So Fla. Ha. Definitely recommend trying. S got the fried beef empanada. There was also a baked option, but he said he'd get the same exact one next time. The staff was friendly and patient as I debated which of the 20 pastry options I wanted. Can't wait to go back and try more! I also saw a fresh OJ machine and some delicious looking coffee that I'll be ordering next time.

I was very happy to see a new breakfast place open near my office and the fact it was a Vicky Bakery was an added plus. They are kinda hidden on Andrews just south of Las Olas but if you keep walking south on Andrews toward the Riverwalk you'll run right into them. It was their opening week and early morning when I visited so they weren't busy yet. I ordered the Croissant Egg Sandwich and a Cafe Con Leche. If they ask if you want the sweet glaze on the sandwich say yes. Both were very good as expected.. They have a nice variety of pastelitos and croquettes and some ready to go trays already prepared and ready for pickup. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful answering some questions my coworkers had. They're a great new addition for the west side of Las Olas.

Ham croquette

I'd say 3.5 stars. Coffee is great! Service is great. The snacks were okay. I tried a few different things. The cheese croquette was my fav. I also tried the ham croquette, papa Rellena, and guava and cheese tequeno . I didn't care for those as much. I'd go back and try a sandwich next time.

House Croquette Ham and Guava Pastelito

Party of 2. December 24th, 2022 morning $41.26 Curbside pickup 2 cafe con leches, 1 bacon/egg/cheese croissant, 1 scrambled eggs with sausage, 1 cuban toast w/butter, 1guava pastelito, ham croquettes Curbside pickup was a mess (no clear signs) so we had to go inside (no biggy), coffees were like warm and needed sugar (no biggy, heated them up at home and added sugar), the scrambled eggs with sausage (not the type of sausage we prefer, no biggy, we threw it away and just ate the eggs and toast), bacon/egg/cheese croissant was good (needed to be heated, so we did so in our home conventional oven), at first we thought they gave us extra ham croquettes but no, they didn't give us our guava and cheese pastelito and only gave us ham croquettes. We love Vicky Bakery, always have, but for some reason this location wasn't on top of their game. Could be wise for management to look into this particular order to fine tune things so this doesn't happen again to us or anyone else. However, we are loyal customers of theirs and hope for better service in the future. Merry Christmas/Feliz Navidad

Parking is $6. Loud obnoxious music is blasting every Saturday morning so you have to walk away from cafe to enjoy your morning coffee.

Great selection of pastellitos and quick service in the morning! Parking isn't great but it's worth finding a spot and walking.

It used to have more of a laid-back feel, but now looks a bit more modern. They have a huge variety of options and flavors of ice-cream, as well as homemade truffles and candies and all sorts of treats. I love coming here for ice-cream to support a small business as opposed to a chain option. Everything is always delicious, and the staff are always really friendly. Hoffman's direct local competitor (a few doors down) is definitely Kilwins which provides an unmatched inviting fresh chocolate bakery demonstration view from the outside window. The strong scent of chocolate as we walked by the wedged opened front door would excite any chocolate enthusiast including me. Those small chocolate egg nog balls layered with sprinkles really satisfied my sweet tooth for about an hour. The bathroom was clean with gray tiled flooring and a non-alluring giant orange wet vac under the white modern vanity sink which inhibited the already small space.

When I picked up the pie it came in a box inside of a large bag that was stapled shut. The staff was very friendly. After I returned to the office, I discovered that the pie had no meringue on top. I called the shop to let them know and they said that only single slices of the pie come with whipped cream. I let them know that the website indicates otherwise and there was no option to select any toppings when ordering. They kindly offered a refund which I took and appreciated, though they really should fix the website to prevent further confusion. I gave the shop 4 stars because the service was friendly and the pie was very good.

Sadly nothing was appetizing there, but I checked my Yelp tags and I had Fireman Derek's marked. I knew it wouldn't be a proper lunch at a bakery but it would taste extra delectable. I walked into the high ceilinged spacious white interior of Fireman's. The guy working the counter was friendly and quick to help me. I shouldn't have come hungry. I got piece of apple pie, peanut butter and chocolate pie, and then, at a moment of weakness, I also got their famed magic bar. It's not a place that's affordable, it's a spot that you pay more because you know it has greatness. much later after lunch and hungry again, I had a bite of the aple pie. My goodness it was good. But when I took a bite of the magic bar I got a happy sugar rush that I hadn't gotten in a while. Scrumptious. I'm glad I stopped in, as any chance to support a smaller local business I think is important. Especially when you can taste the love in what they make.

Opened since the 1970's and French inspired. Cute and stylish place to go. Either sit down service or take out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was quick. The latte and croissant was to die for. So many pastries to choose from that it's difficult to pick. I love the neon sign on the wall that says "Meet me by the grinds." There even was a champagne vending machine to buy small bottles. Wine bar located in the back. Attached is a beautiful floral store to buy flowers and other items. What a cozy and unique place to go. One side is the floral shop and the other side is the coffee bar. The entrance to the coffee bar where you place your order is way too small for the amount of traffic flow they have coming in and out. I felt like I was in the way no matter where I went. The employee taking our order was not the nicest and definitely was overwhelmed. This isn't a regular coffee shop where you can place your order to go and still drink your coffee or hang around. We were told If we were not eating or drinking at the coffee bar you will not be able to sit down. Ordered two iced lattes and two empanadas. Coffee was okay but the empanadas were really good!
