Had an absolutely fantastic time! Wow. I Ended up ordering a variety of croissants from their available menu: this included the almond chocolate and traditional butter. I Also sprung for the cinnamon roll and ham and Swiss quiche to mix things up a bit. We washed it down with lemon citron lemonade and hot lattes and man of man it was flavorful and it was all super delicious. 5 star newish place near on Ft L beach and Galt Ocean Mile. Fantastic breakfast/ lunch and incredibly sweet staff. 5 star service: terrific service started right at the counter. The nice very friendly woman who gets together things and rings you up reminds of my favorite cousin. The fellow bringing out food to tables was also very sweet. 5 star ambiance: interior is sort of a sleek farmhouse vibe. I tried calling a couple times to verify if the restaurant had a gluten free bread option for the avocado toast, but no one answered. I decided to drive to the restaurant anyways and I'm glad I did. While they do not offer a gluten free bread option(pls consider this in the future :) , they do have a create your own omelette option that can cater to a dairy free gluten free lifestyle. I picked mushrooms, turkey, spinach and bacon inside the omelette. (Extra charge after 3 items) and then added avocado on top ($3.60 up charge) The oj was delicious. I know it's had outlets and wifi because it used to be a Starbucks. The woman at the register who helped was nice. I ended up with an almond croissant and a chai latte. I didn't like the chai latte. So I asked to get something else made ( I got a matcha). I offered to pay the difference and the person said no problem. I like the matcha better. The croissant was awesome as usual. Like I wanted another one but I said no to myself but the temptation was strong... If you are not into sweets they do have actual food on the menu but I have not tried that at either location. If you need a quiet (not slow as in business but noise level), I recommend coming here. The staff was friendly as well. read more
