Awesome mobile coffee cart! I got to try Viator coffee at the FILO conference hosted at Willow Community church, they brought out a full mobile coffee experience that was very popular. The staff there were incredibly friendly. Good cup of coffee and nice latte art

Located in downtown Elgin within the food hall, Viator Coffee has great staff, great coffee and a great atmosphere! There are 2 floors at the food hall which provides plenty of seating. Comfy living room seating, tables with a long bench seating and your standard 4 chairs and a table seating. A friend and I chose to sit at a table that had those comfy cushion living room seats and we enjoyed ourselves. I tried the Mexican Mocha latte with oat milk and thought it was delicious. It was sweet, nutty and I'm going to assume packed with caffeine since I was pretty jittery, haha. It could have also been the sugar but moving along! It was nice to see latte art on it too. Always a fun thing to see when grabbing a latte. For food I tried the Wayfinder - Avocado toast which was OK. I'll probably pass on getting food from Viator coffee next time. There wasn't anything wrong with it, it just wasn't for me.

Awesome! The drinks were delicious and the zucchini bread was so good!! The baristas were so nice, answered all of our questions, and made great recommendations. The Dream Hall is so cool, loads of seating and the Victor vibe is top notch.

Snickerdoodle Iced Latte , Seasonal flavor, but so good, I highly recommend!

Came back for the snickerdoodle iced latte this morning. Highly recommend, it's so good, and one of the better lattes I've had in my opinion. Service was great as I actually called in to order this one since I didn't see the seasonal item on their online menu. Came out right on time. One of my new go to coffee shops for sure!

We did a coffee cart with Viator for a family event and it was a huge hit. Our barista was awesome - super friendly, accommodating, professional, knowledgeable and just an overall great guy! He was busy crafting up amazing hot and iced coffee drinks for the guests - making good suggestions for people that couldn't make up their minds, and doing it all with so many distractions from our party around him. The drinks were delicious - my only regret is not enjoying more coffee. When the party was over I was kicking myself that I didn't order another latte. I tried the honey cinnamon latte, which was delicious. I highly recommend the cart for any parties and if I'm ever in the Elgin area, I'm surely stopping in for a latte.

Located inside Elgin's downtown Food Hall, Viator Coffee is one of many vendors in this space. Right inside to the left, you will find their ordering counter and menu displayed. There is a decent amount of seating in the space but no outlets to plug in and work. They had quite a few intriguing coffee selections but I went with a hot lavender latte, my favorite. I enjoyed the latte art displayed when my drink was ready. I enjoyed the flavor and temperature of my coffee! I hope to stop by again, when in the area, to try some of their other offerings.

LOVE this place. The coffee is delicious and the workers were quick and kind. The vibe is chill and there's so much space to sit and get work done.

Ube latte

Ube! This weekend in my birthday city confirms the purple yam latte is my all time favorite of the single flavored espresso brews, perfectly balanced; herbal rich winter moods against tingly summer sweet potato shouldn't work but oh it does. This place rocks, beautiful well lit, good wifi, even more for using the Joe app! We found easy parking, a beautiful well designed space but oddly lacking outlets on the second floor. Staff was friendly and quickly served up both our beverages. I cannot get enough, if anything like most places, the large is not large at all after one hour of casually adjusting my eBay store prices to entice the consumers like Prime Day. For me it is always a jungle fun sip when the coffee flavor syrups are made in house. None of that junky sugar goo in plastic, Viator knows what they are doing. Anyone coming from an addicted Starbucks life will need time to adjust to the proper ingredients here, just like thinking vinyl is the superior sound until a full Dolby surround system show the ears what's what!

High quality coffee and espresso based drinks in the heart of Elgin. Located on the ground floor of the Dream Hall, a open floor plan multi-use space with coworking options, Viator Coffee Co is a welcome addition to the area's coffee scene. Formerly a mobile coffee cart (Viator is Latin for "traveler") they had the opportunity to open here during the pandemic, and hopefully they can stay for the long hall! Drinks are 15% off from 3-5 Mondays through Fridays.

Could not have nicer things to say about working with My Chef and Jamie Walsh for our wedding day…read morecatering. We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. Our tables looked great, our food was wonderful, and their team was fabulous. We truly appreciate all they've done for us and could not recommend them more! Appetizers Selected: Mac & Cheese Bites, Bacon Wrapped Dates w Honey Citrus Sauce, Cocktail Meatballs, Bruschetta Bar Salad Selected: Mixed Field Greens w Pears, Goat Cheese, Pear Infused Vinaigrette. *Alts: Candied Walnuts & Second Balsamic Dressing to offer Dinner Selections: 1. Filet w Red Wine Demi Sauce, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, & Asparagus 2. Garlic & Herb Cheese Stuffed Chicken, Vodka Sauce w Bowtie Noodles, & Grilled Veggies 3. Butternut Squash Ravioli w Sage Brown Butter Sauce, Grilled Veggies *Kid's Meals & Vegan Meal offered otherwise at no upcharge Dessert Selections: 1. Mini Cookie Tray- Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, M&M, Double Chocolate, Peanut Butter 2. Assorted Chocolate Truffles- Oreo, Buckeye, Aztec

Disappointing experience despite a fresh and new business relationship. We have used this catering…read morecompany for multiple corporate events and have spent considerable money with them. Historically, the food and service have been very good, which makes our experience with our most recent BBQ event particularly disappointing. The weather was questionable the morning of the event, so we understood the decision to precook the burgers and brats. However, the weather ultimately cooperated, and the event proceeded as planned. We specifically requested that we use at least one large gas grill we provided, even if only to keep the grill/char lines going, but that did not happen. The catering team arrived on time, but the setup was not completed as expected. Two chefs who had originally been scheduled to be onsite to cook the food ultimately spent much of the event standing around with very little involvement. More importantly, the food was served lukewarm to cold even though it arrived in hotboxes, and some food was undercooked/raw. The sternos were not lit until well after the food had been set up and less than 10 minutes before mealtime, which did little to address the temperature problem. For the price we paid, the quality of service and temperature of the food were simply not acceptable. I immediately raised my concerns with the event planner after the event. When I didn't receive a follow-up, I emailed to express our disappointment. To the event planner's credit, she responded and said the owner wanted to address the matter personally and would contact me after returning from out of town. That was over a month ago, and we have still received no communication. A coworker who also helps coordinate our company events separately contacted her point of contact at the company, but also received no response. What is most disappointing is not simply that one event did not meet expectations. We have been a significant repeat customer, and we expected our concerns to be acknowledged and addressed professionally. Instead, we received no follow-up at all. We have had good experiences with this caterer in the past, which is why this situation has been frustrating. Unfortunately, the combination of cold food, a lack of attention during the event, and zero follow-up afterward has made us decide to seek catering elsewhere for our corporate events.

Catering Made Simple was, without question, the most stressful, unprofessional, and disappointing vendor of my entire wedding. What makes it worse is that the owner chose coercion over accountability -- attempting to pressure me into deleting my review before even agreeing to speak with me. That alone should tell you how they handle their mistakes. I posted multiple public notices tagging them and gave them a deadline -- Friday, September 26 at 12:00 PM -- to reach out and make things right. Despite several attempts, they ignored every one. Planning Failures: Our contract clearly stated a plated dinner, and I provided a detailed color-coded diagram with guest names, allergies, and meal choices weeks in advance. Despite this, staff insisted it was a buffet while we were lined up for our ceremony. I had to walk into the reception in my gown minutes before walking down the aisle to correct them. Because of their confusion and refusal to listen, our ceremony was delayed -- critical time lost as we were already working around rain. Execution Failures: We paid for full cake service, but utensils were missing, and flimsy tools from a décor box labeled "Do not use" were handed to us. Our cake, made by a close friend, was ruined when staff shoved a fragile custom topper -- still in its frame -- into the cake, splitting the top tier. One staff member even called it "cheap." They also failed to provide the highboy table we paid for and placed our cake awkwardly in the back of the dessert table. Guest Service Failures: Staff hovered over tables and repeatedly asked guests if they were finished. My own half-eaten meal was cleared while I was in the restroom, leaving me hungry at my own wedding. When I asked for water, I was escorted to the bar instead of being served. Professionalism & Accountability: My coordinator was harassed to the point of tears, and staff even threatened to pull me aside during the reception to complain about her. The owner, Greg, was present all night, saw me address problems directly, and never once spoke to me or apologized. Instead, he posted defensive public comments and tried to coerce me into removing my review. The only positive: the food was warm, tasty, and as expected from the tasting -- but that's where the good ends. The impact on our wedding was significant: * Our ceremony was delayed. * My coordinator was harassed. * Our cake -- lovingly made by a friend -- was ruined. * Guests felt uncomfortable. * I was left hungry. * The owner refused to take responsibility. To top it all off, I have since been blocked from a major Chicago wedding vendor group -- likely due to a complaint from Catering Made Simple -- instead of them engaging in constructive dialogue. Catering Made Simple failed in planning, execution, professionalism, and accountability. They caused unnecessary stress and ruined key moments of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and then tried to silence me. Brides and grooms: do not risk your wedding on this company.

Italian food is our most favorite cuisine. Many Italian restaurants are fancy high price place restaurants. We were excited to find a casual Italian restaurant where the emphasis is on serving delicious food rather than having a fancy setting. The fried zucchini with homemade ranch dressing was very good. Be sure to ask for additional parmesan cheese to sprinkle on it. The rigatoni with vodka sauce was very good. I had the Buratta salad with red pepper strips and balsamic glaze. I would order this again. One minor point. The salad greens were about 50% spinach leaves and then the other 50% was mixed lettuce. For me, that was too much spinach. Their balsamic dressing was perfect for this salad. I wish we lived closer to this restaurant. I would come here very.often.
