Helping Paws Foundation truly changed everything for us. As a military family, unexpected medical costs can be overwhelming, and their financial assistance made it possible for Coco to receive the care she needed. What they do to help families stay together with their pets during difficult times is incredibly special and deeply appreciated. Dr. Souther provided amazing care and gave me so much confidence throughout the process. Christina, the executive director, was so gentle and attentive, and it was clear how much she truly cared. I will always be thankful for the compassion, support, and kindness we were shown. Coco is healing, and that means the world to us.

I found out about the Helping Paws Foundation during that emergency, and they have been an absolute Godsend! I am forever grateful for the work they do helping veterans like myself. I truly believe this organization was used by God to help keep our pup alive. I will forever be grateful. Thank you all so much. You are truly saving lives!

Then at home we noticed at no point Dr. Dodd examined my cat . She listened to my concerns about a fat bump my cat had under his skin and recommended cytology . We left to think about this costly procedure. She also told me I should buy the intelident chews for $16 from her office because the brand she sold was pharmaceutical grade and only could be obtained in her office . I did purchase it. Then at home watching the video clip we saw the entire time she spent with my cat was 6 minutes which mostly I talked . At no point she examined my cat . She didn't touch the body, skeletal, neurological response, she didn't listen to lungs and heart . Didn't use her stereoscope at all. Then I called the office and asked Liz at the front desk to forward me the medical notes . She did . In this record Dr. Dodd noted there was no heart murmur and lungs were clear. Lymph nodes within normal limits and etc. she noted things that she had not examined . I called the office back and told Liz that I was calling to give Dr. Dodd an opportunity to set things right ( didn't ask for a refund ). Hoping for a 2nd visit . Dr. Dodd called me back and said this office wasn't for us and she reimbursed the $80 visit . By the way the inteldent product she sold me for $16 is available on Amazon for $8. In good conscience I felt important to leave this review that maybe this office, not only is not for me but also is not a fit for other cat owners who are looking for a quality care.

I love Dr Booman…read more I have a few cats and dogs. Dr. Booman is my go-to vet in terms of physical exams, shots, heartworm medication, flea medication, blood/urine/fecal testing for my cats and dogs. Some things to keep in mind: *Being a house call vet- her practice is limited to what she can do at your house (she will do in-home euthanesia but no anesthesia, surgery, emergency care, etc). *She only works few days a week, no weekends. *Her schedule is often full, expect to wait a week or two for an appointment. It's very clear that Dr. Booman and her technician loves animals and that she takes their care and welfare VERY seriously. Her fees are incredibly reasonable. She explains the situation and answers your question very clearly and compassionately without sugarcoating. Highly recommended!!!

I have 5 cats and she'll come out to de-worm, vaccinate, and whatever else needed for all my cats, all for the price I usually pay for 1 trip to the vet (for 1 cat). I haven't met such a caring, gentle, kind hearted vet like her in a long time. You can tell she truly loves animals and is passionate about her job. She randomly calls just to see how my cats are doing. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable vet. Great for cat owners since most cats don't like car rides. I immediately took him to the vet and from there it was a whirlwind of different Vets, Specialists, Urinalysis, Urine Cultures, Bloodwork, Ultrasound imaging of bladder and kidneys, antibiotics, cat water fountains, Feliway pheromones, and finally surgery. A year, and thousands of dollars later, my cat was still presenting with bloody urine and I didn't know what else to do. I live in Point Loma, which is about 45 minutes away from North County Cat Hospital, but I took a chance and called to see if they were able to see my cat. Brandy was patient and kind while I desperately rattled off everything that my cat had been through and she was able to squeeze us in for a same-day appt. It's COVID times, so I was not able to go inside with my cat, or meet Dr. Daly in-person, but he kept me updated and spoke for a lengthy amount of time on the phone with me about options. He recommended an oral medication that I had never heard of, which I admit I was skeptical of since surgery, antibiotics, prednisone, and everything else other vets had suggested hadn't worked, but I had nothing to lose so I went ahead and ordered it for my cat. After an entire year of bloody urine, I am thrilled to report that my cat's urine has not shown even a drop of blood since starting the medication. I can't even begin to explain the amount of gratitude and relief I feel towards Dr. Daly and his kind staff!! I recommend Dr. Daly to every single person I know that has a cat and I wish I would have gone to North County Cat Hospital from the start. Me and my Cat could not be more thankful!
