We needed a health certificate for our dog when we moved to Hawaii, which is a pretty intense process, but Dr. Fontana and her team made it feel so easy and straightforward. They guided us through all of the required documentation and steps we needed to take, and answered all of our questions, making us feel at ease and ultimately ensuring a successful move for our family. It was also super convenient to be able to chat with Dr. Fontana ahead of the health certificate checkup over their mobile app to make sure that we had all of our ducks in a row During the health certificate checkup, it was amazing to have the team come to us and not have to bring our anxiety-prone rescue dog to an unfamiliar place. Dr. Fontana and her team made Biscuit feel so comfortable during his time with them, and the whole process was very efficient despite bing super thorough and comprehensive. While Dr Laura was VERY sweet and great with our pets, we were definitely talked into services that we did not need. Then found out as we were checking out that the bill was much higher than we anticipated. I told her three times I didn't need a heart worm prescription (I have some on hand) and was still prescribed heart worm meds from their pharmacy, even though I requested the one I needed (flea and tick) to go to Costco. Conveniently, we were recommended to follow up and have another set of bloodwork and xrays done on our 12 year old dog... who has never shown any signs of anything... and is totally healthy. read more

Dr. Laura is a truly "rare breed." Our lab was 13, diabetic and blind, as well as suffering from a number of other conditions that rendered him immobile and unable to go to a traditional veterinarian. This was a problem because he had prescriptions that needed to be renewed and he needed to see a vet. I must've called five or six mobile veterinary services, and all of them had either transitioned to doing exclusively euthanasia during COVID, or would not service my area. Finally, we found Dr. Laura and she was more than willing to help us. Normally in this situation, I would've been happy just to have a halfway decent veterinarian, but Dr. Laura blew us away with her ability to solve problems and with her bedside manner. Not only did she give us everything we needed with regards to our dog's care, but she even was able to solve a stubborn UTI that had even eluded treatment by well respected clinics, namely VSH. I would highly recommend Dr. Laura for anyone who, like us, has an a immobile mobile pet. When we started with Signature Veterinary Services, I had two dogs - an elderly German Shepherd and a young small mix dog. The older dog had mobility issues and the younger dog had aggression issues so having a mobile vet was ideal for us. We have been using this vet for about a year. A mobile vet was new to us. This level of convenience was like a dream, at first. On top of coming to us, they provide fantastic care, are very cost conscious, and have a flexible schedule. Everyone who I've dealt with has been kind and cheerful to help. Both dogs needed basic annual check ups, shots, flea prevention and worm treatment. My older dog basically needed end of life care. Palliative advice, some diagnoses and eventually euthanasia. They gave me all the information I needed to make the decisions I needed to make along the way and basically taught me how to care for a dog with his conditions. The euthanasia experience was ideal - peaceful, quiet and comfortable. They had a tapeworm that was resistant to medication. When the worms didn't clear up, the younger dog needed regular new treatments to try to get rid of the worms. The vet was in constant contact via email to work through next steps when the treatment invariably didn't work. They consulted with other internists and really were on top of the case. We are currently trying the latest in a long line of treatments. Fingers crossed. My younger dog was a rescue and had aggression issues when we got her. Although she's gotten better, she still has a propensity to bite when needles and thermometers are involved. She's also high energy and squirmy. Every interaction this vet has had with her has been gentle and careful and I've seen her get better and more friendly with every visit. This last visit, they were even able to lift her gums to look at her teeth really well, which is a new thing she's never let anyone do. I had Dr. Laura come to the house to examine her. She was absolutely amazing and extended my Beauty girls life by nearly 2 years while caring for her and my other 2 dogs. When it was time for Beauty to go to her final resting place, Dr. Laura was there again with her comforting bedside manner to peacefully help us let her go. Super disappointed with their service. I feel so taken advantage of. Their "wellness plan" isn't what it seems and we saved NO money. I stopped service with them 7 months ago due to the up charges that were insane. Our last payment just went out... They first came out to give out puppy shots(I was scared to take the pup to a walk in place due to bad experiences with distemper in the past). They quoted us on a lot of stuff including pulling 3 teeth on one of our other dogs($550 plus the service charge to come out). We didn't like the quote so we went to another vet and they took one look at our 3 year old dogs teeth and said all she needed was a tooth cleaning!! So we saved our doggie pain by getting a second quote(and saved some money). That $550 quote did NOT include the blood work they did(we never approved the blood work, why would we approve blood work when we were not sure if we would move forward with the quote?). Blood work was actually done twice now that I'm looking through our invoices. I agreed to a monthly wellness plan for $32.50 a month(a year contract apparently) for our puppy. The last month they charged $99.38! Way over the $32.50. So I emailed them asking why and they tell me it was a retroactive payment for previous service(almost a year ago). Who does that?? We paid so much money out of pocket to this place and emailed them countless times asking why this or that was done and they just argued the emails. Unfortunately we will never be refunded money that should not have been paid. Do yourself a favor and drive to a vet and get a better quote. read more

We just said good-bye to Honey, our beloved Yorkie of 14 years. Honey was diagnosed (elsewhere) with Lymphoma just two short weeks ago, but she declined rapidly. Today, she could barely muster the strength to walk a few steps. We had called Dr. Laura last week to assess Honey's condition, and to advise us on how we could provide the most comfort for Honey in the time she had left. She came to our house, which was so much easier on Honey than having to take her somewhere. We could tell straight away that Honey was in the best hands. When the time came to make the most difficult decision -- and it was readily apparent that it WAS time -- Dr. Laura was very caring and mindful throughout the process. She came on a Saturday night at short notice and helped us through the procedure in the most loving manner.
