I was referred by Tender Paws DVM who was out of town. She and Dr. Tiffany refer to each other when they go our of town. I got a call back on Sunday then spoke Monday for my sweet boy rescue who had a sudden unanticipated second severe herniated disc . She was so compassionate and helpful to me while my heart was breaking from this fur baby loss. He had been so well after his surgery and this picture is only a few days before he crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you to Loving Hands.

Tiffany is an incredibly caring person. My sweet little 14 year old dog had been suffering, so I had to make the hardest decision a pet owner has to make. Peanut hated the Going to the vet, so this was the right choice. Once I spoke to Tiffany I felt like we were in, loving hands. She arrived and explained how each step would go and gave up time with our sweet girl. She died peacefully in my arms. My little love was handled with care even after her passing. I was so so sad and grief stricken. I got a nice card from Tiffany a couple days later. And a cute paw print that I'll frame with my little Peanut's photo. In the most saddest of times, it was a peaceful ending.

Dr. Tiffany and her nurses Crystal and Torri were so empathetic and compassionate, genuinely cared about our family and what we were going through. They treated our dogs with such care and tenderness. Every step was explained to us so we knew what to expect. We had to put 2 of our babies down, one month apart and there was no one else I would have called for the task. She had our sweet boy Max's ashes hand delivered along with a paw print and we will get the same for our handsome boy Yo. If you are in need of these services I highly recommend calling her.

I would like to thank Dr. Tiffany for her compassion and sense of urgency when it came to my handsome boy, Aspen. All the veterinarians I previously called were compassionate, but there was a warmth and graciousness that I felt instantly when I spoke with Dr. Tiffany. Thank you for rushing to us since Aspen was in so much pain. I thank you for the human compassion you gave to my mom and I during this difficult time. We are so thankful that there are people like you out there -- and who do this difficult service. Thank you, as well, for the lovely greeting card.

An early kind phone call consultation with Dr. Tiffany Palozzi and I knew we found the right practice. Her partner Dr. Stephanie Schneider and nurse Kim came to us. Our 16yr old schnoodle Gaby had been living with congestive heart failure for 23 months. Then a cardiac event overnight left her panting, hunching, she was in pain. Early next morning she looked into our eyes. She could barely walk. We knew she was ready to leave. And we promised no more scary trips to the vet. Dr. Schneider and nurse Kim were so kind, compassionate, caring, loving, and considerate. We are so grateful our girl was home, on her favorite blankee with her fav toys and us by her side. We gave her a million kisses. Goodbye sweet girl. You had a big life. Thank you so much to truly Loving Hands. We will be forever grateful to you. Gabrielle, December 3, 2005 - March 3, 2022

I had what I think is a unique situation with my dog. He wasn't in any pain, and was eating and drinking normally, but blood results showed low red blood cell levels. I called Loving hands as my pup's lethargy increased and his breathing changed that morning. Loving Hands was very honest and told me to call my vet to confirm that my pup was in danger and needed euthanasia sooner than I thought. It was such honest and compassionate advice that you don't expect from people anymore. I opted to say goodbye to my pup soon after the call. Any business that's willing to lose business in order to help a pet and family in need to do the right thing deserves more than five stars. Thank you Loving Hands!

Pacific Coast Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery - Madonna on our run yesterday , happy, healthy, and thriving thanks to the incredible care she received here!

Even so, the best-laid plans can't prepare you for emergencies. Last year, we were rear-ended on the I-5 at Via de la Valle in Del Mar by an unlicensed driver in stop-and-go traffic. I fractured two of my own teeth from the collision. My Italian Greyhound was secured in her car carrier, and I assumed she'd been spared. Months later, during a routine exam at our primary care veterinarian (The Drake Center in Encinitas), our vet discovered a fracture in Madonna's molar that would require a root canal. I was shocked becauseI brush her teeth nightly, but that's not something most dog parents are actively looking for. Our vet emphasized that the only reason Madonna avoided infection for so long was because her mouth was so impeccably clean and was the result of years of daily brushing, enzymatic toothpaste, and small-breed dental tools. She referred us to Pacific Coast Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, and this is where our real blessing began. I consulted with Dr. Kevin Li. He is phenomenal, articulate, precise, no-nonsense, and deeply empathetic. Most importantly, Madonna absolutely loved him, and she loved every member of the staff. The entire team is caring, gentle, and genuinely attuned to the anxiety any devoted dog parent feels when their fur child needs surgery. On surgery day, I checked her in and went home to wait, terrified. But Dr. Li called exactly when he said he would. And he began the call by complimenting me...saying Madonna has the cleanest teeth of any seven-year-old dog he has ever seen in his practice. That meant the world to me. The root canal went perfectly. Madonna recovered beautifully, and I now examine her teeth every night when I brush them and everything remains flawless! I cannot say enough about this facility. They made my dog's life healthier and happier, and they treated us with exceptional kindness from beginning to end. I've already recommended a close friend who has four dogs and she now brings all of them here for their dental care and procedures. She was just as impressed. Pacific Coast Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery and Dr. Kevin Li are the absolute gold standard. If your dog needs dental care, this is the place you can trust with your whole heart!

I wish I could go to them for everything vet related not just dental.

My 11 year old dog has a history of very aggressive MCTs, and Dr. Proulx has helped us put him on a fantastic regimen that has prevented any new tumors from appearing for 15 months, while minimizing dosages for steroids. Dr. Proulx is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He answers all of my questions thoughtfully, even when I call from home because I'm a nervous dog mom. We just took my dog to the urgent care this weekend, and it was a great experience. I called in advance to say I was coming up, and they were able to see him right away. They had great bedside manner, thoroughly explained our options for next steps, proactively provided cost transparency, and offered follow up appointments. They also helped me prioritize what was needed so I could decide what to schedule with my pcp to save some money - it's clear they aren't trying to take advantage of you! We saw Dr. Vezeleva, and I can't recommend her enough. When we were done speaking with the care staff, I asked the front desk if I could take my dog to the car to wait while they filled a prescription for me - they immediately brought him out so he could wait comfortably, and they even met me at my car to get me when everything was ready so that the end process as seamless as possible.

Dog was kept in the facility for the following 3 days. Went for a visit and was asked if he had anything wrong with his paw. Answer was of course "NO". They explained he had swelling on his paw and that rinsing with warm water would take care of it. They made no mention of embolisms, clots, restraints etc. When we took him back 5 days later with his skin falling off, they tried blaming it on some random "embolism" event. Nothing mentioned of this previously and they obviously didnt bother evaluating or treating for this? In my opinon the injury was from restricting blood flow "tourniquet effect "to the limb based on the circular mark on his paw with damage and swelling below that line. An external pressure injury. In any case, he was in their care when the injury happened. There is nothing showing anyone checked bandages for pressure, ties for being applied appropriately, or that anyone checked his extremities for proper circulation. I believe the "embolism" was nothing but an excuse for their own failures inserted into the record 5 days later. Many months of care, cleaning, changing bandages and preventing him from licking his wound. A full time job. My poor dog still has difficulty walking almost a year later. Sent a demand letter to VCA requesting refund of money I paid for the surgery and other medical treatment. Letter went unanswered. Their insurance company contacted me asking for receipts, which I provided. They then did nothing. I finally filed suit in small claims court. No answer from VCA. Court date pending. nothing explaining their role in this. Filed complaint with licensing board for investigation into their actions and ethics. I am now at a different vet who we LOVE, but our experience here at Bressi was never personable, and I always felt like I had to fish information out of the vet and the techs. Huge lack of follow up and communication as well. When I asked a question I was often met with, "oh it should be fine" "I'm not sure, let me go check." With my dog getting older, I did not trust her in their hands any longer based on my experience. Dr. Lax misdiagnosed my Australian shepherds back pain. I was told she may need to see a neurologist because of a spinal issue and that she should no longer jump up and down. When going to our new vet, he reviewed the x ray they took and said because of them not sedating her, the reason they gave that diagnosis is because she probably moved during the x ray. New vet did a thorough exam and she has been fine, no issues. I also recently found out that when they extracted some of her teeth 2 years ago, they left some roots in there which the new vet is now removing so they do not become infected or abscess. I would have understood if there was some reason why they left them in there...but the lack of transparency and lack of communication is what I don't appreciate. Huge opportunity here at this vet!
