The wonderful image of our little furbaby who is recovering thanks to Kate, Dr. George, Christina and susan who sent us this photo.

I write this with full tears streaming down my face of just how grateful to this wonderful foundation my family truly is. Christina has gone above and beyond with her kindness and her love for all fur babies and their families in times of such stress and heartache, Our baby Lola who is the sheer joy of our hearts had her femur fractured 2yrs ago. This wonderful foundation assisted our family with cost and care in this moment of need we wouldn't have been able to afford. they continued to provide the help we needed to ensure that our little Lola would get the correct care she needed. We were met with such a wonderful team both Dr. George and Kate. Kate went as far as to give her personal number to make sure we always had updates along with having and knowing everything we need and needed for our fur babies care. We were sent a photo of our fur baby as she recovered on her overnight stay since they knew it would bring us comfort to know she was doing well. I highly recommend to any other families like ours dealing with any huge medical emergency event to go through this amazing foundation. I promise you that you will be so thankful you did. They level of compassion and care is beyond words. You will be met with such amazing care from both Dr. George and Kate when addressing the needs for your fur baby as well as constant contact with not just your care team, but also from Christina.

From the very first email the response was very quick. Although no promises were made during the application process Hannah was incredibly kind and provided us with all the information that we needed and was so very caring. We are glad to say that Luna received a grant and was able to get her surgery last week. We are so so grateful to Helping Paws and all they do to help active duty and Veterans get their pets the help they need.

I can't be more thankful with this foundation. Honestly I didn't know where to go and ask for help for my dog since he needed an exploratory surgery to get a foreign object remove and he had prostate issues as well. I exhausted all the money I had in my bank account trying to get my dog better but I wasn't going to be able to pay for the surgery. I contacted helping paws and Janet got ahold of me within 30 minutes. Helping paws covered the whole estimate and thanks to them my dog Koba is getting better. He is my emotional support dog and I love him. Thank you Janet and helping paws !!!!!!

From my very first day, it was clear that this organization is guided by a deep commitment to transforming lives, not just meeting temporary needs. Their mission--to permanently solve family homelessness through accountability, empowerment, and opportunity--is not just a statement on paper. It is lived out in every conversation, every program, and every interaction I witnessed. What sets Solutions for Change apart is their unwavering belief in the potential of every individual. Their values of leadership, responsibility, community, and long-term transformation shine through in the way they support families. Instead of offering quick fixes, they focus on equipping people with the tools, skills, and confidence to rebuild their lives in a sustainable way. This approach doesn't just change circumstances--it changes futures. As a volunteer, I felt valued and included in a mission much bigger than myself. The staff leads with compassion and clarity, always emphasizing dignity and empowerment. Watching parents take bold steps toward stability and seeing children thrive in a safe, supportive environment reminded me that real change happens when people are given both hope and responsibility. My time at Solutions for Change strengthened my belief that lasting transformation is possible when an organization listens deeply, leads boldly, and works alongside the people they serve. I'm grateful to have played even a small part in their mission and would encourage anyone seeking a meaningful volunteer experience to get involved. This is truly a place where change is not only possible--it's happening every day

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!…read more I have been patient in looking to add a kitten/cat to our family and stumbled across Marigold on a fosters Instagram page which prompted me to submit an application. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.
