Tj is extremely detailed in his work and gives you a fair and honest timeline of start to finish. He texts his clients when he will be on site the day before and is always prompt. The value is unbeatable as we got many quotes and TJ was the only person who gave us a detailed work plan and how the concrete will be laid out. TJ was referred to us by a family friend. TJ came to us at a time when our project was abandoned by another concrete contractor. He came in, assessed the situation and gave us several options. He pointed out flaws in the prior contractor contractors initiation of the work. For example, the elevation was off and not enough excavation was done. The options he provided showed his professionalism and expertise in his field. Our yard had several complex issues and he gave us multiple remedies. We immediately decided to go with him. We came to an agreement and the worked started promptly. TJ is honest and straight forward. In order to work with him effectively, you have to make your concerns known. Decided to take on a big project in redoing my entire back yard and even front scape of my home this year which I had designed using Yardzen to really make the space more usable and for entertainment. After a bit of a search and a couple bids received, I found TJ and he came over quickly to tell me what he could do. While the demo took a long time since we found a lot of underground unexpected things, he was able to get in and replace and put in beautiful new stamped concrete that looks even better than what I thought pavers would do and put in 3 new retaining walls that aren't falling over with proper drainage and connections! The color of the concrete came out perfect and the finish is absolutely stunning. He was able to guide through some key design adjustments to what was feasible to build and came really close to exactly what the design looked like! Even when weather wasn't a fan or when some unexpected problems popped up, he was able to come in and fix the issue and continue the work. What we both thought would be a simple project turned out to be a much more involved endeavor but the execution has gone really well! We are just about to wrap up and get ready to use the new space for Thanksgiving which we could not be happier with! Tj definitely goes above and beyond what the basic work is and cares about the detail and the finish product as much as myself being the owner. I will admit that the initial budget and the final cost was not the most ideal but the changes and adders were more than reasonable and he worked closely with me on what to expect moving forward.
