They welcome all to come and enjoy themselves and that in turn helps those who need it. There are many who have been helped that are not Veterans and that is great by me. As an Auxiliary member I worked very closely with a Comrade. I have seen what can be done by just asking for a few items. I have seen clothing, laundry soap, make up, women's necessities gathered and distributed for stand downs, local schools who have students in foster care, women who have been in abusive homes and are now working on making a life for themselves. I have seen donations made for a family who lost their home, and, sadly, those who lost loved ones. I have seen a 'store' set up for anyone who needed food and other necessities when the March 2020 lockdown was put in place This is a loving and friendly post. It seemed as if I served and once I no longer wore the uniform, no one cared. I will not go into the damage on this platform but I will say, the services that the Veteran Benefits Consulting Group provided, garnered me my just reward. JD was attentive, personable, professional, and he knew what the hell he was doing! He spoke the VA language and navigated the weird and wonky disability rating matrices. Let's just say it took him less than 90 days to achieve the results I labored 10 years trying to achieve. Oh! Vets - don't be sticker shocked either because I'd take $0 property taxes over his one time fee any day. Make the call and get what you deserve.

I am a Veteran and wanted to share my experience with this consulting group. While they did help…read moreincrease my disability rating from 30% to 90% (a $1,760 monthly increase), they charged me over $6,500 for their services. After two failed attempts by JD to reach 100%, I decided to leave and hire a lawyer instead. I went to Vet Law, which has excellent reviews, and within four months I reached 100% disability (a $1,589 monthly increase). Their fee was $1,012 -- far more reasonable, and the process felt professional and straightforward. Based on this comparison, I believe Veterans Benefits Consulting Group charges excessive fees and does not provide fair value for the cost. Although I did receive an increase, I do not feel their billing system is ethical or fair. I want other Veterans to be fully informed before committing, as there are better options available.

It's expensive and we were looking at money running out in the next couple years. So I was tasked w contacting, following up and completing the application thru Veterans Advocacy Associates. It was A LOT of info gathering, but well worth the additional benefit of $2200/month. Free money! Kurt guided me with the forms and documents I needed to gather and he finished the rest. It took me about a month to get everything together and Kurt an additional 2 weeks and the package was finally sent. And in another 2 weeks, he called and asked me to check the bank account. Voila! He said we got the max amount in the shortest amount of time in his experience. Yes, I possibly could have done this without their assistance, but they've done it before and knew the ropes. Sure, the help was free. But, in the end, we're getting financial assistance that we really didn't know existed or was available. For their efforts, we donated approx 70% of the first amount back to VAA for their time & help. Would def recommend Veterans Advocacy Associates!

Her team offered to help our planner clean up, she graciously accepted and then we were told they did all of the cleanup and therefore they were keeping our deposit. We were also told that we only purchased three drinks from the bar and they were forced to have a bartender there even though we did not ask for one. Make sure you read your contract and make sure that you take pictures, and do not accept any of their help or they will keep your deposit.

Each tables had different tea cups set up and center pieces !! Place is also used for community activities like this Tea Party , Honoring veterans, youth activities , as well as honoring the local law enforcement officers and firefighters too!!! The Elks Lodge folks did a fantastic job of organizing this popular event, which turned out beautifully. The tables were gorgeously set and the finger foods & desserts were tasty. There were a variety of very nice items offered for raffle prizes & auction. The auction was very lively with several ladies outbidding each other. It was fun seeing the ladies wearing their hats and fascinators & looking rather elegant! We are all looking forward to next year!
