I've been admitted into Menifee Lakes Post Acute two times in the last two years.(2023-2024 *2025) I receive excellent care and I felt that my CNA's were very caring to my every needs.. everyone I dealt with from PT/OT, administration and all departments, kitchen, maintenance everyone was very friendly willing to help or at least get an answer for me, they all went out of their way to make my care/ stay the best. I would also like to thank the best CNA there in the facility ...her name is , ANARUTH she took excellent care of me for the 2 1/2 weeks I was there She made my stay so enjoyable, xo read more

HORRIBLE. We had a horrible experience with my mom's care under Menifee Lakes. They would never brush her hair so it became so tangled, when we asked that they please just brush it once a day a CNA cut off the tangled hair in the back and left the rest of the hair long. Her personal belongings were constantly "misplaced", her room and her were always unhygienic. We could NEVER get ahold of the nurses station, but when I would be there the RN would be sitting on her personal phone on Facebook. She developed multiple bedsores while there. And that's not even everything that was wrong with place. If you have the option to have yourself or a loved one in any other facility I would recommend never sending them to Menifee lakes. There were 2 CNAs we worked with occasionally that seemed to genuinely care, but other than that the experience was absolutely dreadful and made the already devastating process of losing a loved one even more stressful. this place is horrible. staff is some what nice and friendly but the level of care is horrible before going in my mom could walk and after 2 months of being there she can't even get outta bed on her own. she can't use bathroom on her own and they are wanting to send her home. we have 4 steps getting into the house but she can't even walk so un happy with this place there lil 3 star sign they have posted will be crossed out with a sharpie upon leaving they will be lucky if they don't get all marked off read more

My dad was in this facility for 3 weeks. Some of the staff were nice and I understand a lot of these places are understaffed but the level of care was not the best and certain things were done we believe caused more issues for my father. He had tests and procedures done with no results given so unsure if they were necessary or ordered from his doctor. He arrived with a catheter in place and without our knowledge if his doctor had sent orders, it was removed. In his discharge paperwork it said his retention of urine was unspecified so we are unsure if they were monitoring him. 3 days after returning home he complained of sever stomach and lower back pain. At his urologist appointment she discovered 900 ml of urine in his bladder which average is between 20-30 ml. She couldn't understand why the catheter was removed and placed one back in immediately. Within a day he felt better. We have tried to reach out to resolve things and no one has responded. Overall, the lack of communication and attention were minimal at best. read more

Unfortunately, the efforts of the care givers, physical therapists and medical professionals are undermined by the incompetence of the administration. The social worker & case manager were unprofessional, non-comunacative, and boarder line incompetent. Now, I am receiving calls regarding billing, when I have not received an accurate detailed account of mom's stay or indication that insurance has been billed. The person calling me is rude and unwilling to let me speak or respond to explain our concern and expectation of written documentation. Mom's stay was continually renewed by this facility without our approval nor were we notified each time they extended her stay. We finally had to make the decision to discharge mom based on the fact that there was nothing physically wrong and no need for her to be there. Do not allow your loved one to go to this facility. read more

Well not much good I can say except pt was fine once they got my hubby moving in the right direction with the right therapist . Very quick to push people out when there not rehabbed 100 percent .Done nurses better then others .Charge nurses at the desk won't move off the PC if ya holler help Much improvement is needed in staffing and delegating what people should be doing .30 residents to 1 med nurse and 8 or 10 maybe more residents to a CNA.Some CNAs better then others .Stay off your cell phones at work should be enforced or else . read more

I go there to visit my grandpa. He stays there long term and every time I see Matthew he's happy to help, always on point. I like his positive energy. I noticed when there's a problem he's always helping because while I was waiting for him answer one of my questions, a peer of his told him something and prioritized something more important, put me aside to do what he needed to do. I respecte that Matthew is always helpful to me and everyone else. I give him 5/5 stars but the facility itself feels like the restrooms weren't working or used. So overall 4/5 experience. read more

I had a very good experience overall at Menifee Lakes Post Acute. The entire team for the most part, was great, and I felt well taken care of. A special shoot-out to the Cnas: Marlin, Fatima Jojo,and Tabista are exceptional. They were always on top of things,proactive, and truly dedicated to their patients. read more

To whom it may concern,starting with the staff each and every one of them go out of the there way toomey the patient's needs. The activity service they have is very organized and a lot of fun. They try their best to keep everyone involved in all activities. Once they get to know you,as your pulling in the door coffee is already there. Social services don't put you on hold they're ready to help you right away. Administrator is willing to help in any way he can. The call light is press you only wait 5-10 minutes for a cna to give help. I myself have been to 5 other nursing facilities. And when I press the call light I would wait up to an hour. Let's not forget about the cooks in the kitchen, unbelievable service. If you need a snack thru out the day all you have to do is contact a kitchen member and you will get service within 5 minutes. Regardless of the bad reviews you may have read I myself being a patient here at Menifee Lakes Post Acute knows it's an excellent place for you or your love ones. The physical therapy is second to none. It's the best physical therapy you will receive. One more thing, on discharge date they have everything set up for you. Home health service, physical therapy service. IHSS,all to make it work for you once you leave. Thank you. read more

I was a patient there for seven days needing medication for an infection that I had. The nurses were awesome and very attentive. The kitchen staff was great under the circumstances that I was in, I would recommend this rehab rehabilitation place. The physical therapy person was awesome also. Most of all the employees were awesome and taking care of the patients. The doctor I had with Kaiser was great very well. My mother was a director of nurses and I promise I know what I am saying when I can say this is an amazing place from RN to maintenance THE RN name Jackie Matthew and Iwana were amazing and julie took such good care of me . Also all the girls aids were amazing . The PT were also amazing. MAINTENANCE HE took care of what ever I think this is a [A1] Hospital . this facility is great i went there to visit my uncle who had recently had a stroke i was welcomed right away by a male nurse i believe his name was matthew, he was very caring of my uncle and his needs, all the staff was great too. it felt really homey here and im very grateful and happy to have peace of mind that my uncle is under wonderful care, i stayed for over a hour visiting my uncle and seen what they were served for lunch i didn't understand my uncles diet but nurse matthew was very willing to explain why my uncle was eating what he was. so overall a great experience. very professional yet homey vibe thank you menifee lakes staff! read more

My uncle stays here and the service here is very good, The staff was very friendly especially Matthew Fernandez he greeted me and my family he was really respectful and professional. This facility is very clean I was greeted right away by nurse Matthew Fernandez his manners were on point I was visiting my grandmother and he pointed to the direction of her room, he even offered us chairs and water. My grandmother is here now and my family has the best things to say about this facility and employees. Many games, events, and loving and caring staff. It's like a big family. What a horrible awful place. I never write reviews, but I have a responsibility to warn others who actually care about their family members. It took days before I was able to successfully communicate the fact that I was unable to get in touch with my father while he was a patient. Staff was irritated with me and kept transferring me because I kept calling to say the phone would ring and ring until they later finally discovered his phone jack wasn't operable. Solution? Plug his phone into the jack that was supposed to serve the other bed in the room so the line was stretched over from the next door bed. That worked for less than a day when he got a roommate who pulled on the line whenever my Dad got a call who then screamed and yelled the entire time that my Dad had to give his phone back. This roommate was literally on the floor calling for help one day when family went to visit my Dad as roommate had fallen out of bed and couldn't get up. we had to alert staff that a person deserving of respect needed help getting back into his bed. My Dad was sent home with no supports in place. i.e. On Tuesday he had no catheter, the Friday before he was released they (re) inserted a catheter. The nurse case manager responsible for helping him transition to home with supports in place never returned one single call except for minimal unhelpful texts and we had no idea what to do despite numerous attempts to reach her by phone. Only because I was persistent and insistent, I managed to get another nurse visit via another source and it was clear my Dad and it was clear he was sent home with an infection. The catheter site was red and pussy (he was released on Saturday and the home health care nurse on Sunday alerted me to the infection) and despite call after call trying to get answers and appointments, he was back in the hospital with sepsis a week later. This is a result of the complete lack of communication and professionalism. This place cares about bilking medicare-not healthcare. read more

This place is pretty disgusting...the paints peeling off all the walls, the floors are filthy, doors are black. It's like a halfway house...

My dad came in after a fall went there for to help him walk again he fell TWICE being in there that we know of only know because they required hospital visits. Every single time we went to visit him he was getting worse he couldn't stand up to go to the bathroom the nurse didn't seem to care how to ask multiple times for help he ended up getting a uti. I got a call a few weeks after him being there he's unresponsive and to go to the hospital. read more

My Mother was in this facility for rehabilitation after a stroke (5 weeks). She received physical,occupational,speach therapy 2 to 3 per day. Very competent and caring physical Therapist. Social Service, Ronalyn and Vivianna were very kind and helpful to work with. Case management, Annette also was a great help. Jared the administrator was always kind and was very involved in the facility. Often seen walking around and engaging with the patients. The chef from the kitchen would even engage in conversation with my mother asking her what she thought about the food. Older facility but has been updated and is clean and has very friendly competent staff. The Nurses and Aids (CNA's) were all very kind to my mother, which made her feel comfortable. Nurse Moana and Nurse Victor were so very nice and personable,they took great care of my mother. The staff always were hustling about and smiling. Cleaning crew was doing there part too. they were always cleaning the floors with a machine (which I loved to see). Thank you for caring for my Mother during a scary time for her. What can I say about this place? I like that my mother is here. The CNA's are very good to my mother, Leena and Caleea really look out for her. When I bring up any concerns to the CNA's or administration, they are handled within a time frame to my satisfaction. read more

BEWARE do not send your loved ones here ! We left my great grandma here in trust of these Professional nurses who are Supposed to be " Trained" They Knew and were well aware of my grandmas medical history & she was only there less than a week recovering from Pneumonia & she has been wheelchair bound for half her life not able to stand or walk and 3 of their Nurses DROPPED her to the floor when they were transferring her to the chair . Mind you they did NOT report it & When we went to visit her she was in Excruciating pain & My grandma told us they Dropped her that day!! Nobody had any reconciliation of the fall & we then asked for her to be sent to a hospital for X-rays where they confirmed fractured in both knees !! My Poor grandma Ended up dying of the pain & was given morphine and her heart couldn't take it !! She ended up passing away . We wanna warn others of this issue in case this happens to more Loved ones and hopefully prevent this happening again! We are super sad as this Fall had a big contributing factor to my grandmas passing !!! read more
