Unfortunately my mom has visited this facility 2 times now in the past 4 years due to her falling and breaking something. But I have to say, next to being home, we could not have been more pleased with the level of care. So many nice people all working hard to make sure her recovery is on schedule. My family is incredibly pleased with the Temecula Healthcare Center. It's a place filled with wonderful people who are not only professional and efficient, but also genuinely kind and compassionate. When my Grandpa arrived, he was physically impaired, mentally defeated, and had all but given up on life. But thanks to the incredible OT and PT teams, he began to grow stronger every day. Just as importantly, the nurses showed him the kind of care and warmth that lifted his spirits and gave him a renewed sense of hope. Even small routines like regular bathing and grooming -- including haircuts -- helped restore a sense of dignity and normalcy to his life. These thoughtful touches played a big part in helping him feel like himself again. The activities calendar here is amazing -- not only are the events fun and engaging, but they're also thoughtfully designed to support cognitive function and mental well-being. Now, he looks forward to each day, often asking what's on the calendar because he can't wait to join in. My dad stayed here after being discharged from UCSD. The facility is clean and modern, though the beds and most especially the nurse call button system felt like a step down. There's a red light that turns on when the call button is pressed, but it's located above the patient's head -- so they can't see if it actually worked or if help is on the way. What truly stood out was the incredible staff. From his case manager Prince to receptionists Rylene and Sydney, every nurse, LVN, CNA, therapist, admin, and office staff -- everyone treated my dad with kindness, patience, and compassion throughout his recovery. Special thanks to William, the driver who took my dad to his UCSD appointment -- he was warm, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make my dad comfortable. Every one working here is doing the best they can and are super busy doing it! I visit my sister regularly and I am grateful for all the nurses and staff who take care of her. This staff have each chosen a profession that to me is unfathomable. They have the patience of Saints! Today I took part in one of the activities with my sister. DEBBIE Activities administrator offered a cookie decorating class. Not only did she bake the cookies herself at home, but she also created all the packages with the colored decorating creams in them. Then she showed everyone how to get started and create lovely cookies. Her team of young women who I like to call "Earth Angels" were joyful and helpful and kind to all of the patients. They know my sister by name and even though she can't really do much they treat her with dignity. I help navigate care for a patient .He arrived on a Saturday By Monday night he was still in his homeless clothing and had not been given a shower. They refused to drive him to his doctors appt .He could not stand on his own so needed the centers help .Now a late fee will have to be paid .The case managers are unkind and did not help this situation in the least bit . read more

Third time in 18 months my father has been sent here to recover from hospital care. Staff at night ignore patients. Staff at night / weekends do not answer the phone. Staff routinely lets seniors lay in their own waste for hours. Staff doesn't give patients enough care and comfort. CNAs and support staff steal possessions from patients. Hard to find parking as the staff and support crew all park in the closest spaces near the doors. Never a place to park. Staff doesn't care for patients and care has slipped drastically in last year. If you want your loved ones to be properly cared for, DON'T send them here. My mother was sent to this facility to recover from a fall. She had a wound on head that received ZERO treatment - no bandages/ointments nothing. After several days of not having proper care, the hair matted. For over a week, the hair/wound had an extremely foul odor. We asked several times for the hair to be cut and the wound to be evaluated to no avail. I called multiple times to follow up to be placed on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up on. After visiting her again and seeing the wound/smell was unbearable, we finally demanded that my mother be discharged back to the hospital for her wound to be evaluated. The Doctors I personally had to deal with tremendous pain because Femur breaks are extremely painful and he constantly adjusting my medication so I can be in comfort and hit it hard in physical therapy and perform exercises daily.. Eric the Director remember me from last year and went out of his way to make sure all my needs are met and I was getting proper care and very friendly and percent committed to my recovery... Of course there are many more like the kitchen staff who always have a smile on there face especially REBECCA the Dietary Supervisor all ways quality controlling the food and beverage making sure your every meal is healthy and fresh and maintenance that if there are any problems or issues are taken care of in a timely manner.. the facility and especially the grounds and the gym is spotless.. My case manager PRINCE is an angel always checking on me and getting me to doctor's appointment and scheduling transportation.. and helping advocating for me when I get bad service and care and is another very important part of my health care and having a exit plan for discharging me for my next step in my recovery.. I want the best for my health care needs and recovery navigating this situation and my personal healthcare is paramount to me... This place is awesome! I was there for over 2 weeks for rehabilitation and occupational therapy. Carl, lvn is so kind and is always on time. All of the nurses are so professional and extremely helpful for all of your health care needs. The CNA'S work SO hard and quickly handle all of your needs. Prince DeLaCruz is the best. He always helps when you need him and responds right away. His gentle voice makes you feel like you are not in a health care facility. I highly recommend this place The building is beautiful along with beautiful rose gardens all over. Diana in physical therapy really got me back on my feet. She taught me so much. Shelby in pt is great!. Trai, is such a hardworking guy and has the best smile. I'm so bad with names or I would give you all of there first names. The staff really is amazing. They don't just functionally deliver; they really care and so the experience -- for the person there (in our case, a 95 year old) and the family members -- hugely benefits. Having had a skilled nursing experience in another state, this was *really different.* And a huge component of that was being assigned a case manager. We didn't get Prince for long (thank you for getting us started the first few weeks, Prince!). It was Jieleen Torres who helped us to navigate the following three months. And oh my, navigate and explain she did! The nurses station was superb at keeping us informed about changes of condition in real time. But there's everything else -- questions and follow-up -- and the case manager gives us that one point of contact. Jieleen was amazing. It does seem like we needed just about everything that the Healthcare Center could offer -- PT, wound care, changes in meds, transportation to medical appointments, sending her to the ER (twice), never mind all that it takes with a bedridden patient. And the evidence of how well it all worked? She left with only healed wounds AND collected sooooo many hugs before she was transported. My brother was originally sent to Extended Health Care which was literally a hell hole! We moved him to this facility to be closer to family and all I can say is WOW. My brother is dressed and cleaned everyday! Now this may seem basic but at the last place he was left in dirty clothes or pj's. They clean his room regularly and I mean at least twice a day. They make my brother feel special. Everyone is so nice to him and accommodating! He sees actual Doctors on a regular basis. He gets physical therapy 6 days a week. He said the food is good! Where do I start when there are so many great things about this place. As of my knowledge of Healthcare and being I've been to some very interesting nursing facilities due to personal illness, by far i have to say this is the best one hands down i would recommend this to any patient needing treatment. The activities director Mrs. Debby is a sweet and kind lady and getting to know the faculty members to name a few Kathy,Cesalie,Atziry, Carlena, and L​​ilia, along with the wound care team mark, Tyree, Vincent, and Joy my hats have to go off to you splendid human beings for helping have faith in humanity again knowing there are kind souls that do want to help and do help cause its hard to come by now and days. The staff is excellent always happy, the food is excellent I've tipped my hat to the chef more than once, one of the cleanest facilities I've been too keeping up on all the trash and making sure that it is all bacteria free which if you know you know is a big deal. Not sure why but an update I'd written here ABOUT this facility was removed! I had pointed out various very negative experiences I'd had here, so I will do that again and hopefully Yelp will not remove it since they clearly state they do not do that. I went into visit my ex one day, this was the first week of February, see my post below for all deets, and he was complaining that they wouldnt give him a laxative, no easy task "going" when you're laying flat on your back I imagine, and he is wearing diapers basically. He said he hadnt gone in days and was in some pain because of that. I went out and found a nurse and asked him why he wasnt being given a laxative and was told they could only give him one every three days. I asked the nurse to find out when the last time they'd given him one and when his last bm was, he looked at the chart then and said he could give him one today, I got no response when I asked why they hadnt done that earlier. So back to his room and another nurser comes in to "change" him at this point, also stating he could tell himself that he was impacted (I didnt want to look!) and about to put on a new diaper when I said "Is there any particular reason why you cant get him into the wheelchair, over to the bathroom and put him on the toilet so he could go?" He got another person, they got him into the wheelchair and into the bathroom and within a few minutes, voila!, problem solved. Now why did it take MY intervention there to get a man who was extremely constipated, in pain, over to the toilet so he could go?! Yeah, just one example of many, but you get the idea I think. This is a man who had multiple strokes, due to blood clots, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, as well as seizures, and yet they feed him cheeseburgers and quesadillas regularly for dinner. Anyway, bottom line I am very disappointed with the level of care here, might want to shop around a bit more if you need a nursing home. read more

I recently completed a three week stay at Temecula Healthcare Center after surgery for a fractured femur. Everyone from my Case Manager, Azizi Baranauskas, to the Nurses, CNAs, PTs, OTCs, and other staff members showed me the utmost care and concern. They gave me the strength and courage to get back of my feet and mostly to be well enough to go home. The whole facility is very well maintained and clean. Each room is cleaned everyday from top to bottom. The beds and bedding are changed each morning or as needed and the rooms are always in order. She claims he is not capable of making his own decisions, but he is and also has several others that are assisting him with managing his care. So any statement she makes, is based on her desire to intimidate and manipulate, until she gets what she wants. My husband was in the facility for about three weeks. They are seriously understaffed. He fell on the floor and was able to call me and asked me to call 911. I had to call the nurse's station so they could help him. I lost track of how many times my family had to call to get him help. I suggest looking elsewhere. My mom has been in this center for about five weeks. Everyone is so friendly and caring. She will be coming home in a week or so and I will miss seeing her caretakers everyday. One of her nurses, Jaelyn, arranged to have another talented staff member, Sonny, come sing to her. It was so sweet and his voice was beautiful. Jaelyn is so caring and happy. I knew my mom was in good hands with her. Her CNA, Grace, is always fixing her hair and making sure she has her matching outfits on. She is always cheerful even when I know she is exhausted. Her physical therapy team have been incredible. I can't believe how far they have come in five weeks. At 97, she broke her femur. I never thought she would be mobile again but she is. There are so many good staff members and I don't know their names but they all deserve my gratitude. I highly recommend this health care center. read more

I am very impressed with this facility. My mother received wonderful care. She was loved by the medical staff. She felt safe and cared for. They were so gentle and patient. She was treated with dignity. I only wish my mother's insurance which is handled by Regal Medical group would have put my mother's well being ahead of their greed and let her complete the wonderful care she was receiving. I was very thankful for the administrative professionals that tried to help me fight a discharge that I felt had no merit or medical justification. If a patient has a Medicare Advantage Plan and Regal Medical group is the provider, be prepared to be thrown out before complete treatment can occur.
