Really good place to work at and nice employees who had long term experience on the field and it was really well organized and us as employees had our personal and individual app to mark everything we would do in a day like cleaning, assisting with toileting,cooking breakfast and lunch for them as well as medication reminders and the job was to be done individually so It was really relaxing to do the job since I would do it on my own pace and it had a really flexible schedule I guess just the houses that were not new were a little untidy but not that bad and the clients would enjoy chatting and talking about their experiences at the military it was fun read more

I call Always Best Care for my husband who has Dementia for home care caregiving. Rebecca was out of town per daughter but had Rebecca to call me while she was out of town. Rebecca called and we made an appointment for the next available appointment. Rebecca and her husband came out and they explained their business fully. I explained I did not think I could do this myself and my husband was getting to much to handle and my health was being jeopardized. Advise that I could not afford these board and care cost. Advise I have kaiser and they do not pay for board and care. I did not long care insurance. After talking with Rebecca and her husband and how I was feeling overwhelmed and started to cry, she got testy eyed as well and explained her referral she had on board and care facility that can possibly would work with me. I want to thank both of them for their heartfelt concerns and empathy. We decided to go to a board and care. The person they referred me to I trust and the home is very clean and also concern with my health and feelings. At the first of this year, I was very sick (92 years old), had a wife that was settling into dementia, and was unable to care for myself or my wife. We met Rebecca through a mutual acquaintance of both of us. After using Rebecca's staff for a short while and after careful consideration we decided to enter an Assisted Living facility for a test run. During the transmission process Rebecca furnished in-house care while we accomplished the necessary requirements of the facility. Knowing that we were only patients for a short while, Rebecca worked hard on our behalf to help us qualify for the Assisted Living. And she did so without any compensation from us. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone in need of care, or guidance on the steps to take for Assisted Living, or any other needs one may have. We stayed in Assisted Living for one month in which I recovered my health and strength sufficient enough for us to return to our home. Rebecca was professional in every way. Rebecca Prouty of Always Best Care is an angel on earth. When I first moved my parents from Georgia to live with my husband and I, we quickly realized how bad my Dad's dementia had progressed. Although he is high functioning, we could not leave him at home alone, and he needed help with taking his medication, showering, changing clothes and not eating all the time. We knew we had to find a place for him to live that would provide care and socialization and engagement on a daily basis, but we had no idea where to start. Did not pursue their services, as soon as I heard, by the very pleasant Rebecca, that we would be required to leave a 2 week deposit, refundable at the end of using their services. Knowing beforehand, that we (our family) was going to require 40+ hours a week, and multiplying 40x$23 (hourly rate) x2=$1840 before services were rendered it became a little risky, to say the least. Even after I suggested I would pay ahead of time, instead of committing such a hefty sum to a business I knew so little about, the mandatory deposit made me take the exit door. Glowing reviews aside, it stands to reason, that the amount of a deposit required, would be the same amount required to pay in full the hours we needed. Yes, some utility companies sometimes ask for a deposit that after several months can be returned, or applied to the bill, but Always Best Care Senior Services do not offer any type of concessions. This review has nothing to do with the quality of their service, but if the 5 Stars are a good indication, they are probably great, it is a review regarding their deposit policy, and therein my meager 2 cents worth. read more

I recently learned of two families experiencing nightmares with the care of loved ones; one in a Rehabilitation center and the other needing to go into a rehabilitation center. I had already been using the services of Always Best Care for our Mother and knew of their exemplary care givers and of course, Rebecca, Jim and Holly. Then I needed to place our Father into a rehabilitation center after breaking his hip. Our experience in the rehabilitation center was a nightmare and after one week, we brought Dad home. Their rates are more than reasonable and in the long run, you will save money by keeping your loved ones in their own home or your home, especially during these Covid 19 days.
