My usual vet was short staffed so they referred me to VEG ER for Pets. When I came into the hospital I was a bit frantic explaining what had happened. The intake person was so calm and nice. The vet tech was also very nice and asked if I was comfortable holding my dog because if I wasn't she could get someone else to do it. Dr Sands was awesome and explained that my dog would be okay and that he just needed to continue taking Benadryl. I'm so thankful that VEG ER for Pets is open 24/7 and in the West Des Moines area so I no longer need to drive all the way to Des Moines for 24/7 emergency care. I'm a little obsessed with the health of my dog and worry about every little thing so you will likely see me and my pup in the future!
