I sat in the parking lot for over an hour to make sure they were okay and eventually saw someone eating. I went in to pick up my dogs around 230 after they were not answering my calls. They were kept up against a wall with dog gates. They said they were just about ready to text me. I understand and things come up, but the lack of communication and how my dogs were kept while they were waiting for me was heart breaking. I have never seen them this stressed before. I will never take our dogs to this place ever again.

Sue, the Owner of In Home Pet Care is very passionate about her craft. What pleases me the most is that she is patient and truly listens to your concerns and instructions about grooming your pet. Its currently off Army Post, but when I started going to Sue the shop was just a small little place off of SW 9th right next door to Andy's Place. Their prices are very reasonable! I asked her to style my pup's hair a certain way and requested to use specific ribbon colors. It was my very first time taking my pup in, so she took me on a little tour of her "pet salon" - I loved that level of transparency! A lot of bad or shady groomers don't bother showing you the behind-the-scenes of their facility. She also allowed me to look @ her ribbon selection so I can choose what would best match my pups outfit....yes, I am one of those people dresses their dog! I dropped my pup off right @ opening (7:30am) and picked her up later at about 4pm - Sue was very friendly and took time to speak with me for about a full half hour about her professional experience, and other services. I told her that I just relocated from California, so she informed me about her "pup-sitting services" - which she does....In Home! =) Lastly, my pup smelled soooooo good. I don't think I've ever had her smell as good as she did after going to Sue...EVER!!! And my pup smelled great for weeks after!!! In Home Pet Care......HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! =)

I have taken my dogs to this vet for several years because of the convenient location and…read moreavailability of appointments. I'm unsure if they actually offer value in their prices, which still seems really high. The staff there are always kind and professional. There seems to be high rate of turnover of the staff. They appear to have difficult and inefficient processes, perhaps that contributes to the turnover? One frustrating thing is there is not a phone line that goes directly to the clinic, but rather it is routed through a call center. I have my dogs groomed in the Petco, which is in the adjacent building and have yet to have Vetco be able to communicate to Petco that my dogs are fully vaccinated. Sometimes their printer is not working, this last visit I was told they are unable to email the records to Petco. At least the printer worked so I could walk through to the other side of the building and hand off the records myself.

Now, she is our general care vet at the Animal Medical Clinic of Merle Hay. We have been very pleased with with the treatment of our two cats, as well as the prices and level of service. Dr. Heyer takes a very proactive (make sure the problems don't happen in the first place) approach to the health of the animals, instead the usual retroactive (figure out how to fix them after they're already sick) approach you find at most vets. Overall, we have had only great experiences at the Animal Mecial Clinic!
