I had a very poor experience with their service team. I was given a 10 AM appointment, but when I arrived, it was clear they were understaffed and disorganized--the same person was handling both sales and service. I chose not to wait and left without getting my bike serviced. Additionally, I was concerned to learn that non-OEM/local parts may be used during servicing without clear communication. That raises serious trust and quality issues. While the sales experience might seem fine, I would strongly advise caution--especially if after-sales service and genuine parts matter to you. I just bought a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 from Vespa Marietta. Got an outstanding price, and even a heads up about a great promotion on genuine accessories that I couldn't pass up. Everyone that works there is relaxed and honest; they offer demo bikes to ride to make an informed decision (this is not standard practice at most dealerships by the way- and I'm not sure how those other dealerships sell something without the ability to at least get a feel for an entirely emotional, non-need based purchase). I was set on a Hunter 350 but found it a little uncomfortable in my wrists. If I bought the bike anywhere else I would've made a bad purchase. I got to try that, a Classic and the Meteor I ended up buying. I highly recommend this dealership. read more

I am leaving this review to hopefully prevent someone from making the same mistake I did in purchasing a Moto Guzzi, and purchasing it at Vespa Marietta ( 793 Roswell St NE, Marietta, GA 30060) https://vespamarietta.com/ On Friday, August 19th, I purchased a 2022 Moto Guzzi V85TT Centenario It had 7 miles on the odometer. Mark Lewis was the salesperson, and Robert Cosby is the manager. On Saturday, August 20th, 30 minutes into my first ride, the bike started leaking oil from the transmission through the bell housing onto the exhaust. When I stopped to investigate, the bike also refused to start. For reference, the bike had 34 total miles, 27 from me, all done that morning as the bike was trailered home. Calling Vespa Marietta, they asked me to trailer the bike back (Keep in mind I was 27 miles from home and 90 miles from the dealership). After going back and forth with no offer of help from Vespa Marietta, I trailered the bike home at my expense, and they came to pick it up on Tuesday, August 23rd. It took the dealership the better part of a week with multiple calls to Italy, to troubleshoot the non-starting issue. It was a faulty relay and a pinched wire. (Why did this require a tech from Italy?) They located the leak, with no explanation why it was leaking, and replaced the transmission seal (I know why hand-assembled by Moto Guzzi/Piaggio Group means slapped together by the lowest bidder with no quality control) They put the engine back in, took it for a test ride, and realized the now oil-soaked clutch was slipping. A new clutch would need to be installed...... I was informed on September 1st that a new clutch would be ordered, with no ETA on when it would be received/installed from Italy, as there was no North American availability, and it would be coming from Italy. Today is September 16th, and after not hearing from the dealership in 2 weeks, I reached out to determine if they had received the needed parts or had an arrival date. The parts were supposed to arrive on Tuesday, September 13, but what they received was apparently an empty box, with no clutch inside. And now we restart the process of ordering a clutch from Italy............ I have asked the dealer, since the motorcycle has only 34 miles on it, to replace......they refused I have asked the dealer the refund my money, they refused I asked for a contact at Moto Guzzi / Piaggio Group HQ who could facilitate a replacement or refund, and they referred me to the public customer support line. I called it, and the rep wanted to call the dealer. Current situation; Spent a large sum of money on a new Moto Guzzi, it failed at 34 miles, and it has been sitting at the dealer for 5 weeks, with no date of when the repairs will be complete. My advice is to avoid this dealer and Moto Guzzi altogether. read more

Purchased a 2008 Piaggio MP3 400ie. Set up shipping through UShi from this dealer in Marietta Ga to Ft Myers FL. I was told that this dealer had this scooter for 2 to 3 months until I purchased it. I was told it went through their Service Department and anything that was needed was done ! So I received the Scooter just a few days and after it was unloaded we could not get it to idle and it was nearly out of gas. So I put gas in it and no improvement !!! Removed the spark plug and totally worned out !! Removed the cover on the air filter box and the foam air cleaner completely deteriorated !!! All of the tires (3) were at 10 & 16 lbs. Battery had been replaced by someone, cover not on and cover screws missing!! And to top it all off no temp tag !!! I'm soooo disappointed with this dealer!!!!! I have now taken my Scooter to the Vespa/Piaggio dealer in Ft Myers to diagnose why it won't idle which makes riding it very difficult !!!! What terrible customer service !!!!! read more

I got my Vespa here. I have owned many scooters in the past 20 years and Marietta Vespa is the best service. Mark is a great guy. I like the new location but preferred the original cause it was closer to my house. But the new one is growing on me. Thank God this place is good cause I really do not have much of a choice for my Vespa and Genuine service. They do things right here and these guys all really seem to care. read more

I walked in to the store on a Saturday. I had a scooter part in my hand I wanted to see if their service department stocked the same part. I stood toward the back area waiting for someone to say hi or help me. Two employees saw me and walked past me several times without saying a word to me. Two other people wondered up and got someone to help them with their questions. After about 10 minutes of clearly waiting to be helped, I walked out of there. I don't expect mesmerizing customer service. But if you're busy, just say "hi, I'm swamped this morning with work, I'll be with you next." Don't just ignore me until I walk away. Honestly, I've never gone out of my way to leave a bad review anywhere before; but this experience with Vespa of Marietta really annoyed me. read more

I don't know if the tech is *only* trained on Vespa/Piaggio product or what, but when I took a rough-running 150cc Asian scooter in it was an expensive disaster. First off, "the scooter tech" (only one?) was off for a couple days, which I was told *after* I had unloaded the bike and rolled it into the service area. Second, nobody ever called me. Ever. I called and left a message after 8 days, then had to call back until I finally caught "the scooter sales guy" (only one?) who told me that my bike was "as ready as it will be." Final straw? Supposedly the scooter tech spent over 10 hours on the bike, examined valve clearances, ignition coils, rectifiers, etc but they were *only* going to charge me for the ignition coil and a few hours labor - almost $200 out the door. Got the bike home, ran no better than when I took it in (as in, a 150cc that still wouldn't break 40mph, but used to easily hit 60mph last fall). Wound up making the drive to Twist-n-Scoot in Decatur, my old standby shop, and they were able to turn the bike around the same day for $50. A simple carb clean and fuel tank flush. Nothing else. Three weeks later the bike is still running like a top. It seems this shop's key focus is flipping used sports cars (Marietta Sportscar is the main operation) and pushing Vespas out the door to the local market. I would not recommend them for service on anything I didn't buy there that wasn't still under warranty... read more

My daughter and I had to drive over 2 hours to get here to get her Vespa serviced and it was worth every mile and minute. What a great experience! Gerald is incredibly knowledgeable and Robert is too! They had a cancellation that day so they fixed her Vespa while we waited! We went and got some food and when we got back they were all done! Both guys checked the Vespa by taking it for a drive to make sure it was all ready for her. Then they helped us load up the scooter onto our trailer and even loaned us some straps (and taught us how to strap it in right!). Keep in mind this was, at this point, after hours for them on a Friday evening. Who does that? I asked Gerald, a natural born teacher, how to do several things to take care of the bike and he showed me and offered up lots of information. In contrast, we originally took our bike to Performance Power Sports in Seneca, SC and it was a complete nightmare with super rude folks. Robert and Gerald were a credit to Vespa and just to the human race. I'm writing a letter to Vespa in support of these guys. read more

This is an extension of T.T.'s review: WOW what an amazing experience! We purchased a Genuine Buddy 125cc scooter on 9/13/2013 and couldn't be happier. When we first arrived Rick welcomed us with open arms. He walked us down to the Vespa shop where we were then introduced to Floyd. Floyd and Rick took the time to find a scooter in our price range, fit us with all of the appropriate safety gear, and educate us on what the different models had to offer. I was so impressed with the level of knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy that they both displayed. We then walked back to the Marietta Sports Car dealership to process the payment and all of the paperwork. All of the staff took the time to congratulate us on the purchase and trade war stories about their own personal scooter experiences (thank you Wade!). We received the same treatment as the gentleman buying a 50k sports car besides us. Talk about a company that appreciates and respects their customers! But wait...there's more! Once the sale was complete I jumped on the scooter to take it home. Unfortunately, I didn't make it 5 miles before I picked up a 3" screw along the way. Sitting in a parking lot with a flat tire, in desperation,...we call Marietta Sports Car (at closing time) to see if there is anything they could do to help. Next thing you know Floyd shows up with a plug kit, air compressor, and some hand tools. He tried to repair the flat but unfortunately the screw penetrated through the sidewall of the tire. Floyd loaded the scooter in his truck and told us it would be ready for us the next morning. Sure enough, we showed up and the scooter was repaired as promised. Needless to say the bill was more than fair (thank you again Floyd!). Anyone can sell you a product, it is what they do after the sale that defines them. Marietta Sports Car / Vespa Marietta exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Thank you again Rick, Floyd, Wade, and staff! You have a customer for life. read more

Floyd is a hidden gem in the Atlanta scooter community. He and his staff are very friendly, helpful, and support scootering across the 404 for the new and vintage Vespa enthusiast. The shop is really cute and feels like your best buddy's living room. Make sure you go to the actual Vespa building in the back of the property (the sport car building is in the front).
