This place is great the steak is huge and straight from the farm and to top it off they have an amazing selection of beer highly recommend the shotgun wedding read more

Let me start by admitting....Im a brisket snob. There are 2 places in the country that I have found with amazing brisket. One is St. Louis, the other in Lexington. Well here us number 3. I ordered the BBQ burger with brisket and beer cheese and oh my Lord it is amazing. The brisket was tender and perfect. The burger actually came the way I ordered it, medium rare. I will be back over and over again. My hubby ordered the Del Monico sandwich and it was perfecrly tender and tasty. Im also an onion ring snob, they have to be crispy battered, not sweet, and hand cut! The one on this sandwich delivered. The beer selection is beyond my expectations. Ambiance is casual. Sports are on, but dont write this off as a sports bar. Its a restaurant. A damn good one. Cant wait to come back for some live music. read more

Had the smoked grilled wings in hot flavor. The only flavor was salt. Had the Jerry Garcia burger and fries. Burger was ordered ned rare, it came cooked to death. The fries had been "re-fried." They had been allowed to cool and then put back in the fryer so that they were grease filled potato crust. Gross. It was their 3rd day open. Not brewing their own beer yet. Not impressed. Won't be back. read more

I don't know if we've just had bad luck, but the two times we've tried to eat there the service was terrible. The first time we waited over an hour for our food, even though they weren't that busy. They did discount the check, but they should've figured out a way to get us something, anything, to snack on during the wait, but not so much as a pack of crackers. The second time, our waitress brought our drinks, and then promptly disappeared. No one ever came to take our order, even after asking someone to find our waitress, so we left. The only time I've gotten good service is ordering take-out from the bar. They used to have really good burgers with gourmet condiments like bacon jam, fancy mustards, and chutneys, but then they changed them so now they just have plain ordinary burgers like everyone else has. read more

I had the best darn, friend bologna sandwich here. Server was outstanding. ONE COMPLAINT; I have searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find a store that sells Kentucky's Best bologna. Can't wait to return from Ashland, KY. read more

Steak and potato were served cold like they just came out of the refrigerator. When I told the waitress, she said she would tell the manager. She then returned with an empty plate and said "here , put your potato on this and I will reheat it". I had to leave because I was afraid to eat cold food. No telling how old it was! The health department should be notified! read more

I really enjoyed this place! The beer selection was great, the food was reasonably priced, and the bartender and management were super knowledgeable! I can't wait to try it again! read more

Waited 45 minutes to be seated at Versailles Brewing Co. while many people left and others came in after us and were seated. When asked why this was happening was told " oh, we forgot you were waiting", even though they gave us a ticker to let us know when our table was available. A 1 star rating from me is really too high. Will NOT be going back! read more

Love this place! Glad to have an establishment like this in Versailles. Food is Tasty and they have a good selection of beer.

This is not only a GREAT place to watch sports but also to take the family! I took my grandkids & they LOVED it. The Hwy 61 brisket tacos were delicious!! The steak was tender & packed with flavor. The kids portions were just right! The service was EXCELLENT, friendly, knowledgeable & fast! This has become our "go to" place! read more

The BEST soft pretzel with beer cheese and the VBC fries are fantastic! Must try these appetizers! The club sandwich is huge and they are not skimpy with the meat... I share this with my daughter and we are stuffed! Pair the sandwich with their chips.... WOW! read more

The first two times I came here we LOVED our food and had terrific service. They used to have a burger called the "Cherry Garcia" with a cherry compote, which was delicious, but they took it off the menu for some reason. :( My BF and I visited after Keeneland this past Sunday and had a terrible experience. Our server got to our table about 5 seconds after we were seated and asked us which beer we'd like, but we hadn't had a chance to peruse the list so we asked her to come back in a couple of minutes. She must've taken that to mean "go on your break" because we didn't see her again for about 10-15 minutes. She came back and we ordered. She didn't write it down, which is either a great sign (she knows the menu really well and is good a memorization) or a terrible sign. Food came out hot and looked great. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my BF ordered pork tacos. My sandwich was completely dry. No buffalo sauce at all. My BFs tacos seemed to have little to no meat at all. We wanted to tell the server but WE NEVER SAW HER again. I flagged down a manager who promptly brought me buffalo sauce. Sandwich was very good. Server finally showed back up to drop off the check WHILE I WAS STILL EATING. That's when we noticed she rang in the wrong food for my BF. She rang in portobello tacos instead of pork tacos. We would have asked her about it but she never came back to the table. She offered to take them off the check but since he ate them, we decided to pay for them. We weren't looking for a free meal just wished we got what we asked for. Not sure if we'll go back. It's kind of far from our house for mediocre experience. read more

Service was good but seems like they could use more help. Food was cold, even after I asked for a new "hot" potato it was barely warm. Other than that, like beer and alcohol selection. read more

Our Bourbon tour bus stopped here for lunch on a very warm June afternoon. Its in a shopping mall but the inside looks quite big and attractive.Unfortunately they sat us in a non descript conference type room with zero atmosphere. Our server seemed overwhelmed with the crowd of 18 or so. Craft beer seems to be a big draw here...folks at our table had some trouble finding one that was available. wife and I ordered Mint Julips and guess what? they said they didn't have all the ingredients available to make one. we ended up with old fashioned cocktail and it was quite good. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Very big portions and tasty. I had a reuben..wife had the grilled chicken pasta Caesar salad. Server picked up the pace as the lunch progressed and we all left pretty satisfied. read more

It is obvious that these people wanted to start a bar and added food at the last minute. The service is horrible and the food is low rent. Their cheese dip was high school football nacho cheese. Their brisket was 90% fat and drenched in barbecue sauce to hide the fact. I hope they didn't invest much in this establishment because it won't last long. I suppose that they think that they can pass this place off as a worthy restaurant in a small town, don't be so sure. The lack of attention to the quality of their food is blindingly obvious. Would it be too much to ask for at least warm food? P.S.- they can't even keep the beer cold! read more

Inconsistent and occasionally extremely poor service. Have had it take an hour and forty minutes for a burger cooked like leather consistency (ordered medium rare) and sandwich on a slow day (servers argued for 30 minutes before even getting our drink order and bringing over a menu because they couldn't decide whose section we were in.) Even after that we experience we tried again and it was solidly mediocre. Ok salad, rock hard pita as croutons. Mediocre service and bleh food. Bummer as we were excited for this place. Try the better options in town. read more

Atmosphere is fun. Food is good but menu has changed quite a bit. Not as good as when it first opened. Will not stop going but would be nice to see the menu improved. read more

This is our second time "attempting" to order food at this establishment. The beer was ok but the complete lack of customer service was beyond off-putting. We sat at the bar & were served drinks. There was no offer of a food menu and then the server/bartender left the bar. When she finally returned to check on us, I asked for the check after informing her that we had intended to eat in. Her response? "Oh, I didn't know you wanted to eat. Do you want a menu?" No, just the check please! We will not return0. read more

Ate here yesterday. Got there around 430pm. All and all pretty mediocre place. Burger didn't really have much flavor, got it medium before you ask. The Fry's were over cooked and soggy. The beer was cold. But the soda was flat. Waiting staff didn't really seem to care if we were there or not. Honestly it's probably a better drinking place than an eat in type place. I've had better food and service from burger king. I can hangout and drink from home. Nothing really captivating enough to make me want to return read more

Do NOT eat here! My 8 year old son found a large piece of metal (like a big, unfolded staple) in one of his chicken fingers. As if that wasn't bad enough, I got really sick from my salad. I don't know if the lettuce was dirty or the chicken was uncooked, or what, but I was really sick. We will never ever eat there again. read more

We've dined at the Versailles Brewing Company three times now and have come away extremely satisfied every time. They have a diverse menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, along with a wide variety of craft beers. Located in the old Kroger in Versailles, the Versailles Brewing Company is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Likewise, it is a very roomy restaurant with plenty of seats and TVs all along with walls showing live sporting events. And finally it has plenty of staff, so you won't be waiting long to be served. read more

Versailles has a restaurant now that will up the standards for moderately priced dining locally. Our lunch was outstanding and reasonably priced. I can't wait to work my way through their menu. read more

We've eaten here many times. It's still a relatively young business but the service is great and the food is usually spot on. If something isn't excellent, they'll make it right. I recommend the VBC fries, sweet & spicy cauliflower, and the portabella tacos. read more

Good selection of craft beer. Wings were excellent. Friendly staff with great service.

Tried this place last week. Excellent beer selection, great food, and wonderful service. The fried pickles are fabulous.

First time to the new restaurant in Versailles. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Seems like a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy some good beers. Wide variety of beers on tap, however they do not have any of their own brews at the moment. Food was very good and menu had a wide variety of choices. Prices were very reasonable. I look forward to my next visit! read more

We didn't even get to the food so I can't speak to that. It took over 15 mins to get our drink orders once we sat down. After another 15 mins we still hadn't had our food order taken. When she walked by and we said ma'am, she rolled her eyes. The hostess was nice though. It was like a scene from Bar Rescue before the rescue. read more

I was expecting this to have actual home brews but this more of a taproom with quite a few different kinds of beer. The food was very good. Service was very good, but what really got us was the price. 2 entrees and 2 draft beers were only $30. For what we got we were pleasantly surprised. This will be our new hangout. read more

They have a good beer selection but the food has been awful every time I've eaten there (about 3). The restaurant is new though, so hopefully it will improve with time. Nice bartenders! read more

Place "states" wings pull pork brisket is smoked! But in reality is only liquid smoke. LIE!! Wings state grill they are deep fried in grease, they used for up to 10 days very blacked and old. The queso is never consistent it's either bags or blocked queso never is the same per week it is. Fried pickles sometimes you will get 10, sometimes you will get 25! Salads are never to menu Romain runs out so much the use spring mix with out telling customers, chef salad they use Romain sometimes and springs mix the most never seen "iceberg" lettuce as stated in the menu. Any of the salads that contain chicken is very dried and "like a dried chicken salad with shredded chicken" they use chicken that's over cook and sets up up to 3 days in the walk in cooler. It's a rubber meat injected chicken to save cost. Side salads stated on the online menu state it has egg "not true" bacon " not true" it's red onion tomatoes diced and cucumbers. "Crispy bacon lol never it's either burnt or under cooked. Caesar salads are never tossed it's on side. Lie!!! Rubens or Rachel's are either burnt on the outside of the bread or no crispy at all. The club they put the mayo on undone toasted bread make the meal very soggy! Smoked brisket contains no honey! Most the time very dried or very chard outside and it's either pulled or cut never consistent. BTW never truly smoked they false advertised this it's liquid smoked not the same. Portabllella mushroom sandwich stated grilled! Not true they lie it's deep fried then thrown on the grill right before melting moZz on it. Beer cheese burger "pilled" with brisket no way not much at all. They say beer cheese but it's sharp cheese bought in mixed processed bulk with mass cream cheese in it. In my eyes "not true beer cheese" never taste the same it's either very hot or mild. Blue cheese burger they never can get their bourbon bacon jam right it's either okay or very runny makes the bun soggy. There are many misspelled words like toped? It's spelled topped! Spell check maybe. Appalachia Chicken is either two 5's or a 6 most the time GM doesn't know how to order anything right there is no KM btw. The Delmonico Fresh, hand-cut ribeye cooked to order and topped with bourbon demi glaze, Delmonico potatoes, and burgandy mushrooms LOL fresh no it's frozen for months at times the glaze it says here is not what we use "butter and rosemary. You don't get neither potato's nor mushrooms Southern Sweet Tea Fried Chicken the time I worked there got marinated and sweet tea overnight. It was just deep fried chicken one time I had to let the cooks know it's was bad chicken rose chicken is red they don't state how it's red??? lol read it's whites and it's never sautéed chicken it's stuff from salads as I said before was dried out like chicken salad chicken. Marinated grilled salmon can you say what it's done it and for how long funny thing is I sliced it open and threw it on the grill raw lol glaze which at the time I was there knew what glazed is it was water I made it right though. The fish here is a lie it could be many different fish like catfish white or carp. I've seen the guy do so many violations defrost fish, chicken, beef with hot water. Do you know the danger zone in food bacteria no one really cares. Mac and cheese is not good it was good when I made it but it cost to much so 9/10 times it's dried and no one eats it. I know this stuff because I was there and it's very messed up how it's ran. I was terminated for getting food out to fast!!! No I was terminated because I told them they were wrong for many things like getting possibly sick, and labor law they never gave us breaks and shaved hours off our pay no one would stay there so I worked a lot of doubles 1 hour a day was shaved and it was took off my overtime $22.50 and hour I brought it up to people that's not right. I stand for what's right I was sent home by the GM that can't stand up to me for fighting for what's right. People were talking they finally had a meeting about it some people they own $1000.00's of dollars to like a 17 year old kid that worked 123 hours when school was in. The accountant/ payroll is ran by one of the owners daughter via quick books with no degree in it, the cheaper version because it cost more to do them right the servers checks say they pay them $7.25 an hr but they don't so they get screwed with. I've contacted some good people and they are going to be investigated for labor law violation and health code violations I know there buddy does it for the town so I contacted Frankfort. These people need to pay back all the employees they screwed over and busted their ass for them.. read more

Our family went to celebrate my brother in laws birthday. Worse mistake ever. The food was way over cooked. The service was poor at best. We first complained to our waitress, then to the Mgr and finally to one of the owners. The owner stated that he would " comp" the meal. 5 out of 9 heard him say that out loud. The waitress brings the bill and it was comped 50%. He comes back over and says he stated he would comp 50%. He lied to us. None of the meal was correct. We ran into friends and they tried to buy a round of drinks. After about 1 hr we never received the drinks. I hope they were not charged. Its a shame we live here and have very few choices to eat out and celebrate a birthday. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless the send the chefs to some type of culinary school and the staff through some type of training. Its no wonder why the city will not allow them a brewers license. read more

A group of us went here on Saturday the 21st. Getting a seat did not take long. No reservations. We waited about 10 min for the the waitress to come to our table. She took drink orders for two that didn't get there's at the bar. then left. Took another 10minmin to bring drinks back, and the order was wrong. Brought back correct drinks after a few min, but did not take our food order. Waited again for her to come back, so we could order our lunch and appetizers. Waited another 10-15 min for that to come out, but only one of the appitizers came out, no waitress or staff would make eye contact to get our other appetizer. After several more min we caught the attention of a " running by" waitress to check on our appetizer and was told it was already delivered..NOT, so she went to see where it was. It came out and was good,( fried pickles) waited at least another 30 min for our food. I ordered the club sandwich. Was supposed to be toasted. It was, but it was cold and soggy. Two ordered the tacos and two ordered the stake dip sandwich. All were disappointed, stated they were flavorless. I ate half mine, was so hungry.and threw the other half away. Not once did the waitress come by and ask us how our food was. Go tour check and left. One took her leftovers home and tried to eat the rest today only to find a strip of black plastic mixed in with her portabella mushroom taco. Lucky for her she didn't choke. Overall was a huge disappointment ! So sad, because there are very few nice restaurants in Versailles, KY. Will not be going back or referring anyone here.
