We had ordered our swing set online and…read moreoriginally booked installation through the swing set company - they couldn't install it for 3 months following our purchase online! Found NEPA on Google, requested a quote online and had a reply from Stan almost instantly via email! It was a lot cheaper than installation through the swing set company and was scheduled for only a couple weeks out! Our installer Thiago was also awesome. He texted to confirm the night before, showed up on time, and built us a sturdy swing set that our kids love! He had it all done in a day! He was very knowledgeable about the type of swing set and seemed to have a lot of experience. Everyone was very responsive and professional. So happy we went with NEPA - cannot say enough good things about this company!

I had bought a swing set online along with an assembly service. However, the assembly service was…read morevery expensive and couldn't come until two weeks after the swing set had been delivered, even though they had more than 6 weeks lead time. So I went online again and found Stan. He got back to me within minutes of my first email and gave me an installation time of five days out at and at a much more reasonable price, even. The two installers texted me the night before to confirm, showed up on time the next morning, and worked straight through until the swing set was perfectly set up and staked securely into the ground. That baby isn't going anywhere soon. I can't recommend Stan and his installers enough!

Great playset and great company. We decided to DIY. How could I be glad I got a box of wrong parts?…read moreBecause the installer came with the correct parts right away (drove them right to our house) and while he was there he pointed out several mistakes we had made. If you do not want to do it yourself, I can tell you this installer really knew his stuff!!! We are very happy with everything. If you do not have a cheap husband I recommend paying for the installation.

Poor customer service, and bad installation of swingset…read more Installer did not have all the parts with him. He told us he'd be back to finish the job. He did not return. After numerous calls and emails, the company managed to send the guy back out. Apparently, he added some of the missing parts. But not all, and the swingset is still not complete. So, I am pleading with the company to finish the installation (6 months later!), but multiple emails and phone calls have resulted in only two returned emails, neither of which provides an ETA. The women who answers the phone (same one; is there only one cusutomer service rep?), says the person in charge is dealing with 64 other problems across the country. Maybe they need to hire more people? I don't know. I just know I've got a swingset in the backyard that isn't safe for my children to play on. They're not happy. I'm not happy. And now I'm wasting more time telling my story to yelp.

Fantastic experience with the Holliston store. I purchased a large Springfree trampoline and…read morescheduled the install for a few weeks out based on their availability. Called to reschedule the install bc my 5 year old was stuck home with Covid and would be bored out of his mind while I was working. The woman I worked with called the warehouse and arranged to have it installed the next day!! He's been bouncing away all weeklong. Very satisfied customers!

Had an exceptionally positive experience ordering a playset from the Holliston location…read more I spent months researching different playset options, and really came to like the modular approach at Creative Playthings. All playsets start with a core tower unit in different sizes and styles, with an amazing number of customization options to build some truly unique setups. They also offer preconfigured sets around common elements if you want to just order out of the catalogue. The quality is evident. The wood looks and feels sturdy, and has a lifetime guarantee. This also means that these playsets aren't an inexpensive option, but after comparing a lot of different brands, we found Creative Playthings to be a reasonable value for the price. Linda, the manager at the Holliston location, is a pleasure to work with. She is ridiculously knowledgeable on all the different configuration options, patient with customers and an absolute pleasure to work with. The Saturday we went, she was easily juggling four different families, and all left with an order in hand and smiles on their faces. Also, the Holliston showroom is extensive, and gives you a good sense for all the different options. Our kids absolutely love the set, and we do not regret our decision to go with Creative Playthings.

This is a great little place to take your family when you can't play outside. There is a large and…read moreclean indoor area for the kids to romp and play on the equipment which essentially acts as a showroom for the business. A pretty smart use of space if you ask me. It's $7 for open play in the space M-F 10AM-4PM, for the entire time period. Stay as long as you want, not only an hour like some places offer. And you can bring snacks/lunch or leave for a bit of the day to get lunch and return and they won't charge again. They have picnic tables setup for eating purposes and they were surprisingly clean. Because the large equipment is their showroom it isn't run down or old. It all looks newly erected and not like kids play on it all day. They also have a big bounce house setup. There is an area with all Step 2 Kitchens and some of other Step 2 products to play with as well. They are preparing for an expansion to add even more play space. If you're looking for a wintertime birthday party, I think I'd suggest this place for sure. There is also complimentary coffee and ice water. They do sell some small snacks and juice boxes for those unexpected low sugar meltdowns.
