I'm already there getting my hair done, please ask me if I want to hear about it. Don't demand I need to purchase this product in order to have great hair. No offence but I can't afford to spend $50+ a month on shampoo or conditioner (hi I'm a student). After being told by my stylist that they didn't want to cut my hair any shorter than I had asked because "it takes time to shorten it up (whatever the hell that means)", I was pretty damn irritated. Next the stylist curls the bottom end of my hair (because it's what their other client likes) and I can safely say I hate it. But I needed a haircut, called Gatsby and was easy to reserve a spot within that day. I got assigned to a random hairdresser. Lambo was very communicative and open, making sure she understood what I wanted and would ask me about other options/alternatives. Not only that - she knew what she was doing and understood that different hair types require different techniques. It left me with a lot of confidence that I could go to her again in the future and get the cut I want. I'll be going to Gatsby Studio with Lambo from now on whenever possible.

I didn't win the contest, but I fell in love with the vibrant colours they offered, many of which are not offered at other salons. I emailed for an appt, but later called in on my lunch hour and booked an appt. I wanted to donate my hair, cut, and colour. I was given an appt for cut and colour consultation. (They also did email me back later that day! Extra points for having their communication channels available and monitored.) I just went for my cut today, and it was a fantastic experience. The salon is clean and modern. Angela was fun and professional. She measured, tied, cut, and braided for donation. We talked about colour and as I haven't coloured in about 20 years now, she gave some suggestions. Cut was done quickly and very well done. I was in and out within 1hour. Super excited for the colour appt!
