Located in St. Armand's Circle - every single time I visit Longboat Key this boutique is a must stop. Although there are many upscale stores and boutiques that catch my eye in the circle.. Veronica's has the best selection for my taste and I never leave without spending way too much money. Finding 'my style' can be a conquest in & of itself and Narina (store manager) never fails at finding pieces I will fall in love with. Purchased shoes here that I did not realize were defective until wearing them. As seen in the pic, they were not sealed properly and I thought I could just glue them myself until I realized it was the case for the entire base of the shoe. Took them in for an exchange today and she said she would not do that since they were worn. I replied that one could not tell that they were not properly sealed *unitl* wearing them but she was adamant, dismissive, and disrespectful. Worst customer service. Don't buy anything from this store. On there site it shows 24 hour return policy, but nothing on their receipt .When I went to return something within the 24 hours she refused refund, pulled out a sign that was hidden and says exchange only or store credit. I told her that sign isn't visible. I went on line myself after I bought and found nothing but bad reviews. STAY CLEAR OF THIS STORE. I will not go in there again. read more

If I could give this store a -5 I would. The owner is incredibly rude. Bought a pair of pants. When I got home I realized there was a hole in the pocket. Thought I would just sew it up myself as I do not live in Sarasota. Took the pants to Italy on vacation and found a hole in the other pocket and by the crotch. When I returned from my trip and washed and line dryed them. The stitching came out everywhere on the pants. Just went back to the store and the rude owner just said "you have 24 hours to return and they were on sale" and walked away. The other employee just looked at me like I know she is rude. I said " you would think you would stand by your product". Never ever buy from this store!!! The other patron in the store walked out with me as she overhead what had just happened and said she would never go into that store again. read more

Worst place ever. The customer service is deplorable. The return policy is horrific. 24 hours. I was there 36 hours later and they wouldn't return. I asked the sales person to call the owner. She refused. She didn't want to take the tongue lashing the owner would give her. Although she was nice to try to help me find something to exchange it for she was very scared of the owner. Even she agreed it is an unfair policy and the worst customer service with a retailer she has ever worked for. She said they get complaints frequently. She admitted they increased the prices for the holiday season. And the owner takes money out of their checks for returns or missed markdowns. This boutique has unique clothes! Located in St. Armand's Square in Sarasota, Florida. I took my sister who lives in Europe and was visiting me so we decided to go shopping. She mentioned that the store prices were higher comparing to most European stores. I purchased some blouses and pants, then came back next day but the sales person didn't want to honor or exchange my blouse. I never seen a store that just gives you only 24 hrs for the returns and that have such a "strict" policy for returns or exchanges. I was shopping in Sarasota and noticed shoes in the window . I tried them on, They seemed to feel really good . They were on sale .. However It was NOT disclosed to me until I read the yellow slip. I walked maybe two stores away and my feet were burning !! I just wish she would have said something that sale items are FINAL!! I was walking around St. Armand's when I noticed this store. The clothing is what I would call a mix of casual natural and ethereal romantic. Very flowy, lots of lace, white and pale colors which is heaven to me. They have some quirky pieces like cat-faced purses and scarves, lovely jewelry, glittery shirts and cute shoes. I really had to hold myself back because I wanted to buy everything! The clothing is imported from Italy and the materials are very luxurious and dreamy soft. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey but it is obvious this is high quality stuff. I just really, really wish they had an online store so that I could purchase other pieces since I don't live in the area. read more

Nice things, Bad attitude! No posted return policy as required by FL law. Bought something and tried to return it for a store credit. Was told all sales were final and if they were to allow a return, it had to be within 24 hours of purchase. Seems that the policy was made up in some spontaneous way. This store is in the very high-end St. Armand's Circle. I've been in retail at all levels. If this is store policy, it's bad. Maybe it was just the staff. read more

My wife bought a hat at this store and discovered later that they'd neglected to remove the anti-theft tag. When she took it back, the woman, who appeared to be the manager or owner, said she wouldn't remove the tag without a receipt, even though she acknowledged that it had been bought there. When my wife said she wasn't sure she could find the receipt, the woman immediately became extremely offensive and belligerent, refusing to remove the tag and ordering my wife out of the store. She only relented when other customers came in and my wife started warning them about the place. Beware in your dealings with this store. read more

Please never buy from this store they do not back their merchandise. I am from Chicago was here visiting, bought a beautiful top at this store, when I went to wash it it had no cleaning instructions which was weird in the first place. I washed it in cold water, delicate cycle, when it came out of the wash all the beads had fallen off, top ruined. I called the store before I left town to exchange it, I was told by the owner that I had only 24 hours to do so, and since it was over their 24 hour time period they would do nothing for me. Can you imagine a store not backing what they sold, I even had the receipt and the owner didn't care and didn't even want to see the destroyed top. They may have beautiful clothes, but I am surprised that ST. Armen's would allow a store that prays on tourists to set up shop there. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!!!! read more
