Great store with very fine people running it . It has been here in Venice for many years, a good hometown store.

Just had a wonderful experience shopping at B&B bootery. All Covid protocol were followed. I told the gentleman what I was looking for (some dressier than athletic shoes that I could comfortably walk around town or go out to lunch in. He directed me to one style which was on sale, gave me some other options, and then brought out some sandals when I asked. The women there was also helpful, in that she said that she had several pairs of the ones that were on sale/discontinued. I ended up buying 2 pair! They are so comfortable and well made that I am sure that I will get lots of wear out of them. Now it's time to get rid of a few old pairs!! B & B Bootery - Smelly feet - Shoe Stores Near Me - Venice, Florida

I bought a pair of Romika shoes at B&B Bootery in November, 2017. I was assured these were a very good shoe. Within 10 weeks of purchasing, both heel fell apart from the inside out and both soles cracked from one side to the other. I went back to the store today with the shoes and my receipt. I was told I must have "gotten into something". The salesperson offered to get me the Romika Customer Service number, but when I asked for the B&B owners name, he told me to look up the Romika number by myself and it was my fault that these shoes fell apart. This store sells good brands, but when something goes wrong, B&B Bootery FAILED its customer. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO HERE after this experience! read more

My mom and I went in to this shop yesterday, knowing exactly what we wanted. 4-6 pair of men's shoes...$700-$800. We walked in, the only visible employee was sitting in a chair with a mask around his chin... fine with us. We were the only costumers in the store. An elderly man walked out from the back and asked us if we had mask, we did, but being the only people in the store and easily able to keep distance, didn't feel we needed them. Had been in at least 6 other shops with no problems, with no mask. He was incredibly rude and if he was not the owner...could have been. He lost a large sale when we're trying to support local small businesses. I will not venture back to this business. Rudeness doesn't work well, and employees not doing what you expect of your customers doesn't either. read more

I went to B & B Bootery with a specific shoe in mind. To my luck, I was able to find the shoes I was looking for. The two individuals who helped me were very friendly and informative. I will go back again next time I need a new pair of shoes. read more

I went here to get shoes for my mother who had just had surgery on her feet. The salesperson worked with us for a while. Her feet were still healing so we decided we would come back when her feet were 100%. Thats when the owner started yelling at us for not buying the shoes. He continued to berate us and curse at us as we were walking out the door. I have never been so embarrassed and insulted like this before. DO NOT shop here!! read more
