This isn't a traditional souvenir store, so don't expect cheap Sarasota items if you're a tourist.

While we never did see any Vineyard Vines clothing (not to say it isn't in there) we did see similar styles and immediately gravitated towards the bright and fun colors of some Southern Tide swim trunks. Aside from men's clothing, Island Pursuit also has styles for women and for kids. Everything seemed to be colorful and fun and in the theme of coastal, nautical and resort ware. Being familiar with many of the brands they carry, like Toad & Co and Tommy Bahama, I know they specialize in higher-end, quality styles.

The second rude, disrespectful waste of breath said "she looks like me when I was little, I was fat too". I was speechless and just left the store. I will never return but wanted so badly say to her, you think you're pretty on the outside but you're dead on the inside to say something like that to a child. I'm SO glad we teach our kids to appreciate people for who they are, not what they are.

Come to find out, Nordstrom has the jumpsuit priced at $29 and Amazon has the jumpsuit priced at $28.99. I was literally taken for over half of what the jumpsuit costs. This place is SO OVERPRICED for what the product is worth.

While my wife & I were fussing over the bag, a cheerful salesperson came over to us. We start chatting and my wife would like to purchase the bag. I ask if there's a military discount and was told she will deduct from the total price. I highly recommend seeing the wonderful items being sold at Sahara.

They also checked out clothes in my order that I given back that were the wrong size. Cashier didn't notice more than one size was charged to me of the same item?? They told me I had to come back to bring items they mistakenly put in my bag and would not get reimbursed unless I did. It's 1 1/2 hours round trip for me to get back there just to get reimbursed for their mistakes. Be very careful at this store.
