While we never did see any Vineyard Vines clothing (not to say it isn't in there) we did see similar styles and immediately gravitated towards the bright and fun colors of some Southern Tide swim trunks. Aside from men's clothing, Island Pursuit also has styles for women and for kids. Everything seemed to be colorful and fun and in the theme of coastal, nautical and resort ware. Being familiar with many of the brands they carry, like Toad & Co and Tommy Bahama, I know they specialize in higher-end, quality styles.

The cashier appeared annoyed and even made a face before saying she didn't know. The other employee, older, also made a face before giving some vague suggestion. I was taken aback by how rude the younger one's tone / attitude was towards my friend. I thought maybe it was because we weren't buying anything.... but there's no way she gets paid enough to care that much. The worst part was that my friend, sweet enough to diffuse the tension, then complimented the cashier's necklace and asked if she bought it from their store. The cashier didn't even bother with a response - just shook her head and made another annoyed, nasty face. I cannot believe they have employees treating their guests like this - if they had sold the necklace in store, my friend probably still would've bought it had she not given us yet another annoyed look. Wondering if this has to do with the fact that my friend isn't white, or if they're just rude to everyone?
