I love this store for many reasons: the vibes are high. some of the first things I saw were religious based /Catholic items. followed by some trendy "witchy" things, and even a section for African spirituality. no one was left out. all things were positive and high-spirited, nothing sinister or cold. the staff is great! my 11-year-old son and I were warmly welcomed in... the kind of welcome that is not always extended to kids in crystal stores. he was even offered a free choice from the loose stone bin. the staff was kind; friendly & attentive, but not overbearing. the prices are fair. I got a little brass bowl, a loose, bulk type specimen, a nice sized specialty stone, and a very large display piece -- free candies, cute fortunes, and tiny freebie stones at the register -- for less than $250. I was happy with my purchase and my entire shopping experience. the selection is phenomenal. there are crystals at every price point from just a few dollars on up to the hundreds. a vast selection of tarot cards, statues, jewelry, incense... there is something for everyone. I bet no one walks out empty handed and I also bet no one regrets their purchase or ever feels like they were ripped off. we are tourists from California but we would visit Downtown Sarasota again, and if/when I do, this store would be among my first stops. five stars across the board. read more

Really nice store that we accidentally came upon while scrolling the shops downtown. My daughter loved all the nice things they offered. Three different employees were very nice and fun to talk to! This is my favorite shop ever! I've had readings with several people here, always a great experience. Michael helped me with meditation. The highlight of the shop for me is Jenny! She is outstanding. My sister and I got auragraphs done by her and loved it so much we have taken my husband and 3 daughters to get it done as well. She is so kind and talks you through the info. This store sells cheaply made products. I purchased an item in a sealed package and when I opened it, it fell apart. Never got to use the item. So not worth the price either . I called asking what to do about this, the lady I spoke with said I needed to bring the item back to the store and I would receive a store credit, not a refund. She told me this after I told her that I am not in the local area. I was on vacation when I stopped in the store. Terrible customer service, terrible return policy and over priced items! Beware of what you purchase from this store because you will be stuck with it if it's broken. This item is going right into the trash. read more

I've visited this shop before, it's actually where I got my Tara necklace which I cherish, and that was a few years ago, however.. The visit I had today was unwelcoming. Seemed as if the employees were more interested in personal gossip about someone's surgery than assisting or even greeting anyone who came in during my visit. When I checked out, I commented on the cute little chip of green calcite that was given as a little gift with the purchase and the cashier looked at me as if she just wanted me to go away. Prices and the quality don't warrant tolerating that. Will not be returning. Edit ; Especially based on how the owner is so defensive of her store in the comments and replies she leaves on reviews. In the message that she reached out to me with she said that one of the employees wasn't feeling very well that day, and now here she's trying to say I didn't speak at all? Or trying to say I wasn't having a very good day? I was there with a friend who can vouch for the fact I was having a good day and that I commented on the cute green calcite and then received a blank stare as a response. The fact you are telling customers their experience here was wrong is not a good business practice and it is very unprofessional. You should be ashamed of yourself. read more

My husband and I both decided to go on an adventure and check out some different metaphysical type shops and had found some points of interest in Sarasota, which is not too far from St. Pete which is where we live. Driving through Sarasota was amazing, but the real treat was PIxie Dust! The atmosphere was very inviting and warm, I was greeted immediately which always a great sign. However the big treat for me, was not only her selection but her prices! She had amazingly great prices on essential pieces for crystal clearing and charging, and offered a decent selection of tumbled stones. I ended up purchasing a salt lamp, and some great large pieces of Selenite and when I left I didn't get that guilty feeling of being robbed blind like some stores can make you feel with their highly over priced items. Johhna the store owner was amazing, and very knowledgeable. I found her to be very personable and understanding which I believe to be a true gift with shop owners of this kind, because it helps any newbies to the field get a little guidance when needed. All in all LOVED the store and will definitely be returning, and hope to see her store expand and become a landmark in Sarasota. Downtown Sarasota is so lucky to have this awesome resource! It's a retail store that also offers psychic readings and metaphysical healing. The store is pretty big with everything you could want from a metaphysical store: oils, incense, and sage, jewelry, crystals, books, tarot cards, home decor, etc! It's such a fun store to shop in! In addition, Billy, who does massage therapy, Reiki healing, and akashic record readings, freely took some time to talk to me and teach me more about what he does. It was a pleasure to meet him and to get a glimpse into the world of metaphysical healing! Not only do I plan to see him for a Reiki session the next time I'm in town, but I might consider taking his course that he offers in Reiki training. My girlfriends and I discovered Pixie Dust a year ago after visiting what seemed like every metaphysical shop in Sarasota, and it was by far our favorite! The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming and everyone spent time getting to know us, even though we were visiting from St. Louis. This year, we did our Reiki II attunements with Johnna and she was just awesome! I had so much fun shopping and chatting with Lee and Johnna while my friends had their massages. I picked up a lot of mystical treasures but so far my favorites are a herkimer and super seven pendant and an Energy Muse wrap bracelet--I've worn them both every day since I got home! I love that Pixie Dust has a lot of things I've never seen anywhere else. I also had a crystal massage and sound bath with Hallie and a chakra clearing with James. It was my first time having a crystal massage and sound bath and both were awesome and I totally will do both again! I wasn't sure how much the chakra clearing would help as I do a lot of work in that area on my own, but sometimes it is nice to work with someone else so I decided to try it. I was so glad I did! James was great, the singing crystal singing bowl was cool and the quartz crystal singing pyramid was TOTALLY "out of this world!" I felt the difference immediately! One of those pyramids is at the top of my holiday wish list, for sure. I can't wait to visit again and I'm so looking forward to a psychomanteum session next year! read more

Visiting from out of town, I couldn't visit my local shoppe, where I go weekly. I make trips to Sarasota monthly and was soo excited to come across a place I had never heard of, even though I lived here ten years. To top it off.. Apparently Joann was an "expert". I walked even without any acknowledgment from the girl doing inventory on her ipad. Continued to browse for several minutes, then I APPROACHED the woman at the back counter. After explaining, I had gone through numerous hemotite rings and pouches of various crystals (they tend to disappear into thin air). Her exact response was "try a necklace or something". I started towards the door still browsing and another patron asked if this was her first business. Her response "I hated my job so I quit, I always wanted my own business now I have one.. im just broke." She started laughing... I did too as I walked out the door. Bc my advice to Joann. While I may have been wearing pigtails (I just got done at the gym) and am only 30, I came to you asking for several specific crystals, so im obviously not a novice.. You may want to work on general observation skills before trying to become clairvoyant.. My Nine West bag along with brand new Passat you saw me get out of should have told you I wasn't in wasting your time.. But you definitely wasted mine.. This store is amazing! Jonna was so helpful and laid back. They had a great variety of crystals, Jewelry, books, decks of cards, statues, soaps everything you could ever imagine. She mentioned that a lot of the jewelry was from local artists, which I find really cool. I bought a scrying mirror and the price was better than an online store when I looked it up when I got home!
