The people I spoke with on the phone were very polite and they genuinely wanted to help me through the process. I looked at all of parts that they replaced and only found a few issues. The first was a very small scratch of the rear bumper. The scratch was less an inch long and not terribly deep. The second was the spacing between the rear doors and the quarter panel. The spacing is just slightly larger than when the car was new. Overall, the two cosmetic issues are very minor and you wouldn't notice them without really looking into it. I would, and will, recommend this body shop to anyone and everyone. Marv's Auto body treated me and my car with respect and care, something that is hard to come by nowadays.

Waited about an hour. I finally asked if the vehicle was about done. A service advisor checked and said it would be about 10 more minutes. When said and done, they told me the tech can't get the tires off because the lugnuts are swollen and will cost me $193 for new lug nuts. I said I never heard of this and was also upset that it took them that long to tell me what was going on. Also found out they were behind schedule when I was told they weren't. Of course, the service manager had to try stating this happens all the time etc etc. Was I taken advantage of, probably. Took the car to a friend to rotate the tires and the Lugnuts came off just fine, took him 20 minutes. I will NEVER go back as this is not the first time I have had issues with this dealerships service. I gave them several chances and each experience was not a good one.

They do great body and paint work, however do not let them touch any other part of your vehicle!!!…read moreHe claimed he installed a brand new carburetor (and charged us for one), however it turns out it was rebuilt instead (from the 70's), the fuel pressure regulator was a high pressure fuel injected version that was over powering the carburetor, wiring issues (we are on our fifth neutral safety switch), rear end issues, alternator issues, chunks of metal in the oil pan, engine smokes on startup. Ten's of thousands of dollars later and we are considering scraping this engine (which was supposedly completely rebuilt) and starting over new. These issues should not occur with a rebuilt engine! Attempts to discuss this with the owner were ignored and the only time we were able to get straight answers from him was when he was billing us. There were multiple instances of us purchasing items for this car which he conveniently 'lost'. Bottom line, if you have body and paint work that is needed - go to them. Anything else, go elsewhere!

Later, the shop called saying the car was ready and the total was $1,500. That's when I found out they also replaced the bumper -- even though it wasn't damaged and only needed paint. At no point did they call to discuss ordering a new bumper or explain why it was necessary. When I questioned the unexpected cost and lack of communication, the guy laughed and told me I should've gone somewhere else for a quote. Overall, the price was unreasonable, the communication was nonexistent, and the attitude was unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place.
